NG posted lurid headline that Dad was alive when police arrived...which I think is def false...
I consider her much like Daily Mail, Radar etc...
Yep. Nancy is known for the copy and paste while allowing her Crime online go on to make massive grammatical and informational mistakes along with salacious titles that have nothing to do with the story.

Btw. The guy Jodie Arias killed (Travis Alexander) has his gruesome murder pictures displayed every week on NG page. Even though the case has been finalized for years.

So I sometimes don't understand why famous Nancy Grace decides to run her Free Facebook page that way. :(

So I rather Jane Velez Mitchell then Nancy. Plus Nancy stole Janes animal rights movement segment after Jane left the airwaves.

It's not the solidness of the door, it's the jamb the door is hung it that cracks. We have a mahogany door, big thing, took 8 men to hang it. No way you're going to crack that door, but I was nearly killed when I left the house in a snit one day and slammed the door and it cracked the jamb and fell out behind me. That's how doors are kicked in. The jamb it hangs in is nailed or screwed in a few spots to studs, but it's only 2 inches thick.

I’d agree. I actually think the weight of your door would make it easier to kick in at the frame vs a normal door.

That said, the perp has to hold the screen door open to kick in the frame I would think, in order to keep the glass from shattering. What if that screen door was locked? He kicked in two doors at the frame? The frame didn’t seem heavily damaged. Also dying to know if there were footprints on the door

I'm only on page 22 but I wanted to comment before we move to the next thread.

I live near a state highway, in California no less, where there are plenty of times at night and other quiet times when there are multiple minutes, sometimes closer to hours, between vehicles. The next town over has a casino and a similarly empty state highway nearby. An area as rural as this really has its own pattern and just because a street is labelled a highway doesn't mean there is consistently traffic. If locals say the road is deserted during the night, I believe them.

IIRC LE was not using the word "kidnapped". I wonder if there is a legal or procedural distinction between kidnapped and abducted. I don't think they were hesitant about the word "abduction", just "kidnapped".

IMO only.

This distinction leads me to think that if she was “kudnapped” she was the intended target. Since they say “abducted” I think her being taken was unplanned. I would also like to know if there’s a procedural distinction between the two.
