It seems as if the other person who was found in the other suitcase is most likely the other woman pictured due to her small stature (LE reported that they believe the woman was an adult). Now we know a description of her hair too.

Well, shoot. The only one I can find by name in MSM is from Farmington PD, and you probably already dealt with him while working with Laura's family. Detective Lee Hollatz.

As far as I knew, the women in the suitcases could have been anyone under any circumstance - hitchhikers, drug users, victims of a maniac which they are, mother and daughter, etc.

Peeps seemed to think sex workers from the start because of the location of the strip club nearby.
It turns out they were sex workers but having no connection to the Sugar Shack.
The former cop probably chose the location for that reason. He sounds like the type who thinks he's smarter than the rest of the police force. Happy to know that decoy didn't work for him.

Laura had seven children but one, a 13 year old girl, passed away in June 2013.

Double sad story for the seven children born to this woman. Hard for me to fathom really.

Laura was NOT a sex worker, she as a lifestyle submissive. It was simply an intimate / romantic adventure to her not cash motivated.

I want to add that I have no more information then anyone else. I have personal info that was shared by family but that was while Laura was missing and since it was said to me in confidence, it will remain private. I don't know the perp and only interjected myself because I was asked to on behalf of Laura's friends/family back in Dec. Sadly I couldn't find any new information for them and feel a bit guilty that she's now deceased.

My goal at this point is to see if anyone I know (Im so close to this it's eerie) met him, spoke to him etc etc. There is 1 lady I am mutual friends with on fetlife that is friends with him too... so Im contacting her to see if she needs to speak to LE.

I know the rumor is that he sells these women to others, I wouldn't be so quick to believe that though. Granted he's been active since 07' on Collarspace (which was collarme), but on fetlife he was rather new ..but again, we switched formats about a year and a half ago. He could have lost his password or login during the change. He seems to me to be a creature of habit and attached to his moniker, I don't know that he'd break that. This is all about control and power, he was the law and believed to be above it. A perfect serial killer.

Astrokitty, Don't beat yourself up over this. You couldn't help Laura, but you can make a difference in helping to identify the other woman. And any information you give might be helpful to them building the case against this murderer, which will prevent him from harming anybody else. You have such a big heart.

Decomp, mummification, dehydrated tissues... Laura would not have been easily recognizable in the condition she was found. They did the best they could with what they had to work with.

Sugar shack, I've worked there but only twice - my input would be pretty useless unless you wanted the rules, rundown of the dressing room and payout fees.

Anyway, here's how the lifestyle works as a dancer (Traveling or otherwise). We get lockers if lockers are free, you store your stuff there but take makeup and things home that you don't want either stolen *yes things get stolen out of lockers* or need to wash. We normally come in with large bags not suitcases since suitcases can't be shoved in lockers. If we use suitcases it's because we don't have a locker but those suitcases are those you lock and the house mom watches over it. Typically it's carry-on size. I've only seen feature dancers use the suitcases big enough to fit a body in. Most of us do NOT use a suitcase because you can't get the strip club smell out of it and it's annoying to find enough room to put it somewhere safe. We use duffle bags.

As far as drugs go - I hate to burst bubbles but heroin while working? No. Can you imagine doing heroin in 7inch heels on a stage? you can't. I'm a recovering horse rider (heroin user) and I'm telling you that even I didn't use dope while at work .. I substituted it with pills instead. Much easier to conceal and carry plus use.

Pills and blow (cocaine) are the biggies as a dancer, they always have been and always will be. It's a misconception that all sex workers do it, only the ones with addictions use drugs.

Now, with some clubs girls that sell sex will work the parking lots or the outside of the club. This means they are street walkers or low tiered prostitutes (in the sense that they aren't able to be called "escort", their lives are just as important as anyone else) - will sort of hunt johns' outside the club. I think this is a genius hustle though.

How this works is a street girl will loiter around outside the club (in or out of their car) and wait to see someone who looks disgruntled or intoxicated leave. They then approach this bar patron and offer sexual favors for money, and most assume that the men are leaving with cash and if not - they can turn right back around into the club and use the atm. Since the guy is already drunk, horny and feeling as though he didn't "complete" his night out - it's an easy score. Often the prostitution associated with clubs are these women who normally aren't affiliated with the strip club itself (although in Vegas, most are).

I don't think these are missing dancers, given the FBI's wording and location I would assume it's 2 females they knew to be missing and knew of the perp.

I might of glossed over it but did they say how long the bodies were there? I read that the smell of decomp was apparent but that doesn't mean much given the weather lately. It could be 3-5 days they were deceased.

I think they have had Zelich on their radar for several weeks, likely due to the information that was provided by Laura's family. I hope they built a good strong case against him. I believe he has not yet been official charged.

ODD! BMM Why there? The last I heard from those that love Laura was before June.

Laura's cell phone was shut off not too long after she went missing, from a selfie that she had taken for Steve (Which I have seen back then), I was able to find the brand of the phone along with where she would have to buy her minutes. I also gave information on GPS with that phone too so that her family could possibly attempt to get more info that way.

I have viewed Laura right before she left, within days or day of - she is very tiny gal. No way does she look like she's had ANY kids. Very tiny, I'd venture to say hardly any stretch marks *hard to have 7 and assume she had none*. She was dressed in a photo for him that she sent via text/msg on Collarspace looking underage. It gave me a good idea of her body shape and maybe what he was into. I also was able to see her length of hair and various hair styles.

I noticed in the photograph she had medication and it dawned on me that someone should call her pharmacy and see when she last refilled it. According to a family source that I spoke to, she hadn't gotten any refills. That was a huge red flag, because she required this medication.

This case is very frightening. It's too much to try to think what these two women were put through. From the comments here it sounds like LE didn't pay attention to Laura's family. I hope this monster hasn't killed more women, but I think there's a good chance he has. I hope we learn more tomorrow.
