I was just trying to illustrate that once we get over the shock of the sensationlism of this woman and these babies there is such a responsibility to these 8 newborns.
Not only that, but she also has 3 other special needs children. For a total of 11 that will need special care in varying degrees. Add to that 3 other children who by right of birth deserve attention, care, and their physical needs met.
Now, from my experience one with premmie, required me to be "on point" all day and night. I had to be commited to my son's health and his needs 24 hours a day. It required complete focus, complete consistancy and I had help so I could at least get a few hours sleep in the beginning. Trained help, even if they were fellow family members.
I was lucky. Extraordinarily lucky in that my son did not have long lasting challanges after the age of 4.
As opme shared, these children can have many challanges medically. If any of these 8, have the common disabilities that can plague premmies (CP, lifetime cognitive problems, other physical challanges) then, IMHO those children deserve to be supported in order to achieve the full scope of their abilities within their disabilities. That is a LOT of work for one child, much less 11 children.
So how does one woman do this? She can't.
