I'm glad to see Lena arrested, and I hope for finding Aliayah's remains.

Since my main Case Archive has 860+ files, I decided to make a sub-section "Justice for Aliayah"

The Main Case Archive for Aliayah Lunsford. This contains everything I was able to find from Sept 24, 2011 to Nov 4, 2016.

The Justice for Aliayah Case Archive will contain everything from Lena's arrest to whenever justice arrives.

Apologies for the organization glitches.
Photobucket (the site that my archives are contained) will no longer let me organize, and I cannot upload video.
You will see all the articles and photos there.

Thank you Amanda, for all your work archiving so many cases.

Thank you Amanda, for all your work archiving on so many cases.

You're absolutely welcome! I have slowed down on new cases because of the frustration of the pb site, and also no one has asked me to make an archive in a while.

I continue updating the 150+ when there is news, and will follow the cases until there is nothing to report.

Thanks isn't enough AR. The work you do is such a help in cases this old. You are always my go to 💕💕💕

How interesting: Barbara Ann H-S used to be the state secretary of Education and the Arts here in West Virginia so I'm sure she doesn't work for cheap.

Maybe someone with more knowledge can help explain. I understand if there aren't any public defenders in a particular circuit one obviously has to be appointed from elsewhere. How is that someone chosen? And why appoint an attorney from two counties away. I want this show on the road and OVER. :jail:

Please Lena, it's over now. Time to confess and bring Aliayah home to rest :praying:
No more children, no need to sell Snap cards, the state'll pick up the tab for your room and board while
The rest of us mourn the beautiful little girl we never got to know...

From the Criminal Complaint.

More than one witness? I assume at least one will be a sibling. I really hope they're enjoying a much better life now.

In one, Lena Lunsford, 34, formerly of Bendale and now of St. Petersburg, Florida, has been arrested in a five-year-old cold case.

Lunsford killed her 3-year-old daughter, Aliayah, Sept. 24, 2012, and then concealed the body and the crime, Lewis Sheriff Adam Gissy and the investigator, Deputy E.E. Carpenter, alleged last week.
Aliayah Lunsford’s body never has been found, but the investigation is ongoing.

Lena Lunsford is jailed on a $250,000 cash bond, awaiting a probable cause hearing before Special Magistrate Mike Coffman on a felony charge of death of a child by parent by child abuse. If convicted, Lena Lunsford could get up to 40 years in prison, although she wouldn’t have to serve more than half of that if she received maximum good behavior credit.

It’s likely Gissy’s department, the FBI, State Police and Prosecutor Christina Flanigan’s office also will look to pursue any other charges, if applicable, against Lunsford, who’s also known as Lena Conaway and Lena Marie Lunsford-Conaway.
That, by itself, would be plenty to keep the courts and Flanigan’s office busy.

Hubbs indicted by Lewis grand jury; Lena Lunsford case not presented this term

Hubbs and the 41 other individuals indicted by the Lewis grand jury are presumed innocent unless and until convicted, according to Flanigan.

Flanigan confirmed that she did not present the case of Lena Lunsford, 34, formerly of Bendale, and now of St. Petersburg, Florida, who has been charged in magistrate court with felony death of child by parent by child abuse.

Not familiar with WV law. So LL is charged in Magistrate Court, then it has to go to a Grand Jury?
