At the time of his death, NF was living out of his subaru. That now means it will be a lot harder to follow the trail of where he could have been and what towns stayed in, etc

I think he was well practiced, and like Bundy and Keyes was cocky and had been drinking to have been so careless with his gun.

I think they need to be looking at bank/gas station, etc robberies. He may also have been robbing his victims for cash or items to hock.

I'm starting to wonder whether he was about to go on an end-of-the-road last-stand killing binge.

Exactly, I could be totally wrong, but I think this guy was likely a first timer who intended to kill as many people as he could before being killed / apprehended by the authorities.

More Richard Speck than Ted Bundy.

For example if he was only going to kill one woman, than have his cooling off period, why have four pairs of handcuffs? Why have the names of six others victims on him? If he was really just picking escorts from a newspaper or website, couldn't he just wait a week or a month until he next felt like a new victim, then check the classifieds again?

And his list wasn't a Randy Kraft type scorecard of people he had already killed - he hadn't even spoken to them over the phone yet.

He apparently was living in his car, and had no money.

Like I said, I could be totally wrong, he may have killed before, but either way, it is excellent news that this brave lady prevented him from hurting anyone else ever again.

MSM has confirmed him in Virginia at one time due to a traffic stop, so we know he was on the east coast. We just don't know when YET. I am sure LE is putting together a timeline. This guy was all over the country, 20 confirmed States at least. That timeline will be key if it is ever released. I'm sure income tax records may help with that as well if LE or FBI looks into that. At least those may show any areas where he may have settled for a bit.

He'd have to be getting money from somewhere like that....unless he inherited some money when his mother passed? It's pretty expensive to live on the road. Fast food, gas, hotel rooms. I'd like to know how his lifestyle was being funded.

Isn't that the same building that the victim was interviewed in front of? So he parked his personal vehicle with Oregon tags right by her house in broad daylight!? Didn't even muddy up or change the plates... I would love for this guy to be the one responsible for other crimes and have him off the street but he looks like a novice. However - the tools do look used/muddy... Enlarging pic... what a filthy mess!! Doesn't look like it has been cleaned in a long time. :yuck::yuck: If NF was involved in other crimes, there should be forensic evidence.

Possibly he had the tools covered by his luggage/sleeping bag. I have had a few speeding tickets, but never had my car searched.

Updated: using only a couple of the Oregon addresses and added the locations where the bodies of the Las Vegas women were found. I also added "Texas" where he got the traffic ticket.

I wonder if he's been to Boston recently. We've had a number of dismembered bodies around the region the last couple of years.

Going halfway across the country in 2 weeks is certainly doable, but it begs the question, "Why?" Sure, it is a straight shot up 40, but still. Of all the places to go, he picks that one.

I am also curious how he accessed the internet. The public libraries I have visited all required showing ID, signing in, and a fee at one. One required me to open a library membership using my dad's address. If he was using a smart phone then how was he paying the bill? Maybe he had a burner phone and bought minutes but where did he get the money?
