I am wondering about that... How was he planning to get his victim to the car? Wait until dark? Maybe he just planned to leave her there & the tools were for a different kind of murder. Having the axes/shovel/cuffs doesn't seem consistent with a spree killer. Maybe there was no plan. And why was a homeless guy driving all over the country? If he was living out of his car, I am pretty sure he has not been in my state (SC) the last two months - too:hot::hot: hot to sleep in a car.

Maybe he planned to choke her to death, then dismember her in the bathtube and carry her remains out to his car during the night in those garbage bags.

He may have planned to rob her after he killed her if he was desperate for money. Think about it......I wouldn't deposit any money in the bank if I had ever been in such a postion to escort. Heck, I probably wouldn't even have a car to get to the bank anyway if I had to resort to such measures.

I doubt he's been in NC either. The heat has been oppresive, stifling.....can't imagine sleeping in a car.

Just because he was living out of his car doesn't necessarily mean he lacked money. He might have been trying to leave less track, or have more mobility, or anything along those lines.

and what if there are victims somewhere secluded too? alive or dead?

Now there is a creepy thought. That might explain why he didn't have ID or money on him.

*shudder*

Well, he didn't have cash or credit cards on his person at his time of death. He perhaps had credit cards hidden somewhere, but there's no reports of finding anything to that nature.

It seems to me that the car might have actually been part of the kill kit. Was this the same car he was stopped in previously? If not, there might be some other "abandoned" car out there with his "real life" stuff.

Benbrook, TX, is where he got a ticket July 7, but I can't determine what car was stopped, or whether the ticket was paid. Going halfway across the country in 2 weeks is certainly doable, but it begs the question, "Why?" Sure, it is a straight shot up 40, but still. Of all the places to go, he picks that one.

In 2005, he payed a Clark County, Nevada, ticket... for failing to use hand gestures or something odd like that.

Echoing the upthread comment, how he arranged internet access is certainly one of the more important questions.

Failing to use hand gestures usually has to do with riding a bicycle or motorcycle to signal turns.

Is the july 7 ticket information available online? I tried the Benbrook Municipal Court website and do not see where to access it.

I just want to note, NF was ticked in July 2006 in Louisville, KY, while living in Henderson, NV. The reason I feel this is important, is that it demonstrated he was making long, cross country travel, BEFORE his mother died, etc. Therefore, it demonstrates he was making long distance travels from at least 11 years ago.

[EDIT] I amended the map so now all the dates on the left are in chronological order, sort of a "timeline"

Where is this july 2006 information from? I was only aware of a ticket in Louisville in October, 2013.

It is obvious to me that he had his license, credit card, and/or cash stashed somewhere close by to his visit to his victim in WVA. If he was stopped by cops across the country, as recently as july 7, 2015, then he had his license on him when he was stopped or he would have gotten a ticket for not having it on him. He either had a local room, campsite, or just buried his personal items til he could retrieve them when he was done, possibly buried them at a predetermined site that he would go to AFTER he did whatever deed he was gonna do.

IF HE DIDNT LEAVE IT IN A LOCAL ROOM, BURIAL SITE OR CAMPSITE, an off the wall alternative: We are blindly believing everything the victim said, he did have money and /or credit cards and ID on him, she robbed him, and killed him when he got mad and they struggled, and later just hid the stuff cuz she didn't want anyone to know she tried to rob him. Is it possible that there is more to the victim's story that we don't know?

I also hope they searched the car inside and out for that kind of thing. I think of the pickup truck that had the pictures hidden up in the fender in the Sharon Marshall case. The perp drove his vehicle around with photographic evidence hidden right up under the fenders.

Yes. Greensburg, KS. I think it said his father is buried there.

Correct, his dad died in 1995 in Greensburg, and I've also came up with an address associated with NF in that city, as well.

And another in August, 2013. And this one also makes me think of the chillicothe cases.

Very interesting, especially considering that NF was stopped by police in Louisville in October of 2013.

Trexian, Do you mean the ticket in TX was July 7 of THIS year? Good find!

I am also curious how he accessed the internet. The public libraries I have visited all required showing ID, signing in, and a fee at one. One required me to open a library membership using my dad's address. If he was using a smart phone then how was he paying the bill? Maybe he had a burner phone and bought minutes but where did he get the money?

You don't need to give any info to access computers and/or internet at any of the libraries in Nashville. So maybe it's the same in other cities as well.

I agree totally! I think this is the BIG ONE. I believe he's retracing his seasonal steps/ going back to the same places he has been before in his freaky pattern. Remember the police in the Long Island killings of prostitutes saying their perp may be "seasonal" and not a resident?
I think he has money too. He rented a room in a home for 8 years while he was a security guard. He probably saved loads of money. Rent for a room and not his own place was cheap. He obviously didn't have dates or girlfriends to spend his money on. He could have saved plenty for his illicit purposes. He surely had a storage unit or a place for his possessions other than his car. Probably spent nights here and there in motels too. I'm curious to hear about his permanent employment before he lost his mother in January and if he had "part time" or "seasonal" security guard jobs as well. Only know about his work at the Hoover Dam so far, but curious where he worked in Oregon & elsewhere.
