True. But in doing so, they ignored the least biased account of what happened, which was what the person who saw it happening saw and reported to 911 right away, as close as possible to the time when it was happening. LE gave more weight to what a DV and her aggressor said during the stop, and a written account that happened hours later. We know that DV victims and aggressors don't always give accurate accounts. The only person whose account had no real agenda and no time to have memory distortions was the person who called 911. Which we now know was accurately relayed to the officers.
As someone with expertise in memory, it's fascinating to me. The officers unconsciously edited their memory of the dispatch call to conform with the narrative that they jointly constructed, in collaboration with the DV victim and aggressor, at the scene. Aside from being tragic, it's also a fascinating example of the reconstructive nature of memory, and how biases enter narratives about events.
Date of that image capture please?
Anyone got the picture of his bedroom ?

and probably governed to some degree by collective bargaining agreement.I don't think it's left up to the discretion of LE officers about whether to release their body cam footage. I believe that footage belongs to the agency that they work for. MOO.
Something like that certainly would've, and probably did. Maybe she did have a last straw. He'd have been hot, hot, hot. SMH. Too <modsnip> hot.MOO: This potential scenario keeps running through my mind, related to the aftermath of the TexMex: "Brian, That was the last straw. I can't have you keep making a scene at the restaurants and other places we go. That's going to ruin my blog and YouTube business if someone posts a video of you doing that. If told you that before and you keep doing it. I'm done with this; this relationship, this trip, this whole mess. Let's pack up in the morning and head back to Florida." That would likely have triggered a huge episode and response from BL.
I do not disagree. She ended up dead. That was not being young and stupid. And he is almost 24 years old, not a kid.
I'm cracking up! And yes , the plate.. thought of that.Looks to be the size of a pair of pooped in underpants wrapped around a toothbrush.... in a brown paper lunch bag.
This also gives us a clear view of the Mustang's plates.
This is controversial; sure. But it’s just my opinion. I think with the incident with the body cam video she was more at fault/the “aggressor” than he was. In that specific situation. Overall; no. But as I’ve said before: hindsight is 20/20. None of us were there.
Carlton Reserve has been closed since Sept. 21 but on Shannon Clowe's Twitter, there are reports that it just re-opened 30 minutes ago.

From Shannon: "I am seeing people go into the reserve. One man said some gates were shut when he went in."
I googled that house and the google pic was 10years old (before they owned it) but it was a raggedy looking house, unkempt yard, just ugly and not worth much. I don't know if they made the improvements or the people they bought it from, but the improvements are very nice as we see it today. Don't know who owned it in 2011. JMODon't forget that bedroom photo is several years old.

The 911 caller may have given a factually accurate account to the dispatcher. But we can't know that and the officers certainly couldn't count on that. (I'm not discounting unconscious effects on the officers memories in making my point here.)
But I'm sure LE encounters all kinds of reports from concerned citizens that turn out to be factually incorrect (and sometimes extremely so.) And sometimes "uninvolved" callers without "an agenda" turn out to have one after all. Simply because the 911 caller called in immediately after observing the incident doesn't mean he got it right.
I'm not saying his account was flawed but it could have been. For example, perhaps his beloved sister recently left an abusive relationship with a man. If so, the caller could be primed to see DV as always male-instigated. We know our biases prime what we see and how we interpret ambiguous situations. ("We see things not as they are; we see them as we are.") That's true for any of us although it's hoped proper training will make us more objective observers.
Definitely a tragic situation but given the statements GB and BL made and the physical evidence (admittedly scant) I can't imagine most officers would haul anyone off to jail based on a 911 call.

So of what value is a four year old photograph to this discussion?2017, as stated in the article.
IMO it means they will soon be calling off the search in the reserve. He's not there. We'll see.Veeewy intewesting.... (said in Elmer Fudd's voice)
Sounds like they have reason to believe he's no longer a threat (when they thought he was in there during their searches). Also interesting that the FBI went for his DNA this morning. Puttin' 2 and 2 together something tells me we should be hearing more about BL soon. It's likely a body IMO. Word of his capture would be plastered all over the news if that was the case.
If he's dead I'm hoping the gaters and/or mountain lion at least got a bit of a meal out of him.
Weird a twin bed ...am i right? Is this an old picturre? Did GP have a separate room. I see no trace of female in this room.
