... and could this possibly have a connection thereafter to the Laundrie parents visiting Orlando?

They spent an inordinate amount of time in a library there, and apparently didn't touch a single book whilst there.

Very suspicious IMO.

From your link:
undercover agents - believed to be with the FBI - followed the couple into the Orlando Public Library on Thursday and hovered in the aisles perusing 80s dance CDs and a Colombian art installation while keeping them under constant surveillance.”

Maybe BL left them a note- or parents left him cash- in the 80’s dance music CDs. :D Prob tucked in MJ’s Thriller case next to Beat It…

IMO, most of the time, the simplest answer is the correct one. Everyone is going crazy, searching the woods, campsites, picking up cans, and so on. It stands to reason, that the reason there is no sign of him is because he is somewhere indoors, we just don't know where.
He has not been missing so long that he could have not been well stocked with groceries and what ever he needed to sit it out for a while. That's if he is alone, in which case at some point he will have to make contact with someone. Admittedly, he could be roaming the campsites somewhere, but by now, I think someone would have found a trace of him. Just makes more sense to me that he is sitting tight somewhere. Finding someone when you have no idea who they know, or what they own, or rent, or if the place is even in their name is not so easy. You may not rent a house without a ID, but you could probably rent a boat storage on a hand shake.

Sorry, double quote. Edited.
This is a lot of good detail about what they did and likely did that day (August 12) in the Moonflower. And this was just before the Moab police stop, is that right? Those two women who were unfortunately murdered worked at Moonflower I think, or one did, (their bodies were found on August 18) and they would have observed their interactions. I guess there were patrons who reported these details also, since we still have them?
I had never poked around on Moon Flower or the other ladies murders since we can't really dive much on that here. But some of those early articles from there are really interesting to read. Not so much about any kind of connection, but the early unfiltered details about both Gabby/Brian and that other tragedy. Thank you for your thought-provoking post. By the way the Moonflower website is neat. What a cool spot!

Eureka! Interesting!

MOO but if this was the case, the FBI and local LE would have him by now, since we all know they have license plate readers. It would be very quick to track him down. So unless she used someone else’s car (that LE isn’t aware of) to go to the campground and drive him away, this isn’t how he got away.

Yes, but he won't succeed in that. And we can all take comfort in how Narcissus ended. He killed himself, accidentally, but still. That should happen in this case, unless one of DTBH's canines gets to take a bite out of his hide first.
LOL or yours or mine...his dogs are simply sniffing for humans!

Brian's ego would never allow it. He's smarter than everyone else. He's the master of all things forest survival - in his head. His admitted hero, Christopher Thomas Knight excised all care, the road behind, the future, an audience called humanity, to live as he pleased as a hermit/burglar in the forest for 27 years before he was captured. Brian's big mistake was choosing Gabby for conversion to the iconoclastic, self-manufactured religion of Brian. He just couldn't break her of her love of the world and the souls who populate it. You mind as well try to teach a fish NOT to swim. That simmering incompatibility exploded on a dry creek bed. He finally blew his gaskets. Gabby was a mare who could not and would not be tamed or fully recruited into Brian's plan of the ages. She, not he, was innately liberated.
The next tool in his arsenal is to console himself with blowing off the past and getting down to the grand plan - the fully-realized Brian, alone, in charge, self-cutoff, living the dream.

The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
-------- Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám

I suspect Brian believes this very thought.
MOO

I feel you are correct in your assessment of BL.

Yes, I believe you are correct.
Staring into the Abyss for too long it starts staring back.
Brought down by his own self-undoing.
I think BL will resurface for supplies or to research his own case in a library. He'll be caught.
We can change the dynamic by honoring and remembering Gabby and all women of dv.

He probably just threw stuff on her seat and she had no room to sit down. She seemed to like things in order so I'm sure she was upset about the mess. Imo
This is my theory that I've mentioned a few times. I think he waited until she was ready to upload her videos, the culmination of 6 hours of work. Any of us who have dabbled in youtube, etc. know how many pieces have to be in line to see your work published. If it doesn't get uploaded, it doesn't really exist except on your hard drive. I still can't imagine the insult to her, telling her she's not any good at her work, then IMO actually preventing her work from being published.

Then she encounters the dirty van, his dirty feet, all when he had 6 hours to contribute to the vanlife effort. She is upset, then he takes her keys, and tries to take her phone, tries to steal her van and belongings, leaving her with her work unpublished, and no access to even the dirty van. Hit and slapped on the street per the first eye witness, to further embarrass her and steal all self worth.

I will never forget the way it all turned out to be "her" fault. Gabby, we aren't throwing you in jail this time, but don't start fights with your fiance anymore, he's a great person who just wants calm and peace. PARAPHRASED, IMO Like the final blow to a gal trying to accomplish it all with a huge anchor on her leg, an albatross around her neck in the form of that IMO useless, jealous, creep. IMO.

so earlier this week (9/30/2021) lyssa chapman tweeted that all info is shared with LE.

Update: Yesterday was a good day. Today we will process evidence, and intelligence. (Sharing all of such with LE) The hunt continues… #staytuned #TheHuntForBrian

https://twitter.com/BabyLyssaC/status/1443674210887340039

then yesterday (10/1/2021) supposedly Dog said he isn't giving LE any info,
"Dog told Newsmax on Thursday: “I guess we kind of do the same thing but I don’t pay too much attention like they don’t pay too much attention to me.

“After 45 years, I don’t call the police, they usually call on me – so I don’t know what they’re doing.

“I can’t call up and say ‘Hey G-Man what’s going where’s your leads? And they don’t call me and say ‘Hey Dog where are your leads?”

Dog HASN'T shared Brian tips with cops as he faces fury over 'publicity stunt'

be nice if those two could get the story straight. MOO.
also, has anyone read anything about BL putting peanut butter on his grilled steak? just curious. MOO.

Expanding on my previous post above, if BL murdered GP and did not psychologically block out the memory, he then knows exactly how she was murdered. A good criminal defense lawyer with forensic expertise and resources could estimate what evidence exists. Often though, there is a huge wild card when it comes to evidence. Some unforeseen small detail can be very profound.

On the other hand, just suppose BL is not the murderer. The circumstances surrounding the case, indirect evidence, sequence of events and pressure to convict are huge! This case could almost be as big as OJ Simpson’s… but BL probably wouldn’t have resources, fame, or ability to attract a “dream team” of lawyers.
His version of what happened and her cause of death will be telling!

yup.

when playing hide and seek, you win if you stay verrrryyyyyy still.

Only way he can do that is if he has food and shelter.

Michael Hadsell, president of Peace River K9 Search and Rescue, was among the searchers who joined the former reality star’s hunt for fugitive Brian Laundrie in Fort De Soto Park, where the Laundrie family camped in early September after Brian returned from a cross-country road tip without his fiancee, Gabby Petito.

“I wasn’t a big believer in the Fort De Soto when it first started,” Hadsell, who brought his K9 team to help in the search, told WSNN-TV News. “But after working out there, yesterday, I’m like, ‘Wow, we may be really into something.’

The hunt for Laundrie has so far been unsuccessful, but officials are also eyeing Fort De Soto.

Hadsell told the station they found signs Brian Laundrie may be dodging authorities by kayaking around the Florida park, a 1,136-acre oasis made up of five interconnected islands at the mouth of Tampa Bay.

“We did find some campsites, we did find some evidence of kayaks near the campsites so it is possible that Brian’s out there,” Hadsell said.

The K9 team had to rely on its experience of nearly 200 search and rescue missions because the Laundrie family did not supply anything with Brian’s scent on it, Hadsell said.

“The parents as you know are being uncooperative, so we don’t have any sent articles or anything from Brian to be able to use it as a target odor for our dogs to work on,” Hadsell said. “So, we do what we call, ‘general human scent.’

Brian Laundrie’s sister may have made conflicting statements about last time she saw him

The dogs are trained to work on water from a boat, he explained.

“And we can circle these smaller islands, if there is any human odor being produced from the island, the dogs will alert, and then we’ll send teams to go check it out.”

“The speculation by the public and some in the press that the parents assisted Brian in leaving the family home or in avoiding arrest on a warrant that was issued after Brian had already been missing for several days is just wrong.” their attorney, Steven Bertolino, said in a statement earlier in the week.
K9 search expert: Promising clues emerge in hunt for Brian Laundrie

Interesting!

IIRC the Laundrie lawyer said that the FBI had returned to the Laundrie house to collect items for "DNA testing", and I know a few of us speculated in here that it might be for a scent for the dogs. Clearly that wasn't the case then, IMO!
I think he meant the family didn't give an item to the Dog for his search, not that they didn't provide something with Brian's scent on it to the FBI. Imo

I don't think the parents or BL told CL anything. CL had to be curious about the absence of Gabby at the campground, but she said in her interview that Gabby and BL a pattern of fighting and then separating for a while before coming back together again "like normal couples do". She may have figured that Gabby and BL had some falling out in WY and BL came home. Nothing more and nothing new given this seems to be a pattern with this couple. She'd seen it all before.

I also suspect that CL was reluctant to press BL about Gabby and being seen as "on Gabby's side" because that probably drew the ire of BL. It's obvious that Gabby was close to CL and her kids, sending postcards and pictures and facetiming her adventures for the kids' enjoyment. CL moved out years ago and has her own husband and children. I doubt she knows exactly what was going on at her parent's house between Sep 1st and now.

JMO

Thanks. I don't know them well enough to paint that kind of picture personally. What I do know is he went over her house first thing when he got back. That implies a closeness. She also saw him on the camping trip. So I think it's not possible to avoid it or ignore asking the questions of him, so I'm not going to guy at what she was thinking or feeling. I'm just gonna go with Occam's Razor.

That wouldn't really work though. The FBI starts at the center and works outward. They look at family and then close associates/places BL is connected to. Then more distant/casual family and friends until they find a connection.

If a "friend" is hiding him, FBI will ferret them out eventually. A casual acquaintance is not going to risk a federal conviction and 5 years in prison for a casual friend, so it would be someone close and easily discovered. A best friend maybe would help, but that close relationship is going to land the FBI at your door sooner or later.

IDK, if he's out there kayaking around those islands, he's going to run out of food pretty soon if he hasn't already. I would be surprised if he would try to hide somewhere there is water all around and he'd have to figure out a way to get more supplies without being recognized.
