WFLA is going live shortly

also i was thinking when the FBI raided the Laundrie's home looking for Brian and they removed the parents for a period of time

would not surprise me if they bugged the home and removing the parents was so they wouldn't know

NO I thought I read that the family went camping on 6th when they had dinner with Cassie and family. I realise they were booked from 6th leaving on the 8th but I thought that I read that they have claimed since that they left on the 7th.

I've not seen that anywhere. I have seen reports like this that show RL checking in on 9/6. The park log in doesn't record the identity of each person with her. It doesn't do that for anyone checking in. So there's no missing info for the Laundries.

Park record appears to confirm Brian Laundrie’s mother visited site of Dog the Bounty Hunter’s ‘tip’

An indictment needs to be handed down by the federal grand jury after the case has been presented to them. It could be that the case simply hasn't been presented yet. It could also be that the grand jury doesn't feel like it yet has enough info to indict.

These proceedings are secret, so we have no way of knowing where the grand jury currently stands on the matter. imo
I've wondered if the FBI request to delay the release of the autopsy report was to obtain a sealed indictment for murder.

Many times with federal drug bust, I see sealed indictments until arrest.

All Moo..

This is what I don’t understand, they said he was wearing a backpack, why no mention of his clothes or the colour of the backpack. I just read that they SAW him that day before he went off for a hike, so why if he’s a missing person at that point and now a fugitive, have the FBI not released last seen wearing, he’s not going to be able to take a full wardrobe full of clothes with him in a backpack, say his T-shirt for example was red that would surely stand out and could be quite useful. I just don’t get it. All MOO
Everything about his disappearance is odd. No posters, no description of clothes! I wonder if there is activity at the laundries house today?

Just an uninformed opinion because I have not participated;

Reasonable doubt has already been established - No specific day of death can be determined.
BL's presence at time of death cannot be proven, cryptic sightings of him in different locations offering money for rides making sure he was seen.

A plausible story that he left and returned, found her dead, panicked and drove home then wandered off.
He is not suicidal IMO. If he was we would be looking at a murder/ suicide. Murderous rage is more likely.

It would be comm0n for a perp to disappear by entering a rehab or psych hospital protected by HIPAA.
He could be sectioned by an MD and the Lawyer and family may not know his whereabouts and MD would not be obligated to reveal that.

Reasonable Doubt - Physical presence at the time of death, questions of mental incapacity, change of venue/ impartial jury selection, etc are all falling into place, IMO

Just waiting for charges/ indictments to be announced?

Sorry I have not followed that closely!

I can only assume (hope) that the FBI has other information we do not know about that would more clearly tie BL to the murder scene. Electronic data, non-public sightings, etc. Otherwise, I am with you that the publicly available evidence leaves a lot of room for reasonable doubt at least from a legal perspective. MOO

Wow. Anything is possible. But I wouldn't have thought the facts that were known then would have allowed legal bugging of their house.

I just don't think it's funny. It is bullyish. It is meant to intimidate. jmo
I agree. For what it's worth it wasn't directly aimed at only BL. Apparently he did that with all the boyfriends. Some dads are just really really protective. JP gets a pass from me, right or wrong.

they only need it for a wire tap through the telecommunication regs?

but a wireless bug since the FBI is outside do they still need it? a warrant I mean .. i guess it would be sealed and we don't know

Found this info, link at the bottom.

Police tape or law enforcement tape
This type of barrier tape is used to isolate, protect and preserve a crime scene. Police tape is used to notify the public that an investigation is ongoing and that a particular area is restricted. This is usually seen with a yellow-white, yellow-black or blue-white color combination

Barricade tape - Wikipedia

ETA - strange we haven’t seen it until now IMO.

Anyone know what police tape is used for? Does it indicate active crime scene always?

No, not necessarily active. But it protects/secures an area from access by members of the public while LE investigates a potential crime scene.

Something is happening, for sure. I notice in this aerial video not only has the road been blocked off with police tape, but additionally 2 officers are also standing on the road.

ETA - I hope his body is found. I notice many others wish for a different, much more dramatic ending but suicide loomed as a large possibility from the very onset of this tragedy IMO.

And sadly it seems the Laundrie’s lawyer knew that too. IMO

Glad to see the search in continuing.

Does LE think BL is dead? Have they ever said they think that? I don't get why the cadaver dog is searching the reserve.

I believe it's more likely BL hightailed it out of Florida and is hiding somewhere but they must know something to the contrary, and if so I wish they would make some kind of statement. Just what they are looking for.

Has the reserve been re-opened to the public?
