Ok, unofficial. I got this from my friend in Cody. She was found alive along the river by hunters. The perp has not been caught. She was beaten and/or raped. I'm sickened and just had a chat with my 10 yr old daughter. If I'm not suppose to post this stuff, please delete my post or let me know. I feel like throwing up.

I'm so sad that she is hurt, but so thankful he didn't kill her. Please keep us posted and pass along our thoughts and well wishes.

I hate to suggest it but I wonder if there's any connection between this abduction and the abduction of Jessica Ridgeway from Colorado. Abductions in WY are very very rare.

I'm thinking yes...those lil' girl's just look too much alike and it's just a little over 400 miles from where Jessica disappeared in Colo. to Cody, WY. I hope they catch him quick. Hopefully DNA will be available and he will be caught quickly before another child goes missing.

11 years old -- same age as my students. I am so happy she is alive, but sickened that she is injured, and that the "help me find my dog" was enough to get her in the vehicle. Poor trusting innocent girl. Prayers for her full recovery, both physical and emotional.

Lord! I just read about her disappearance, next read that she'd been found and now read she was injured! why the hell do males think they can take a child and harm them??? I hope cops find this and shoot him in the lower region.

How cold is it there?

It's 43 there now, feels like 37 with the windchill. We had our first snowfall at the lower elevations on Friday night/Saturday morning. Add shock and maybe river water along with possible injuries to that temperature and K. definitely needs our prayers.

I SO wish I could be there when he is caught... these people truly make my blood boil! I went back and looked at K.'s pictures on facebook - the VERY PICTURE OF INNOCENCE!!!! How DARE he!!! Oh, I hate some people on this planet so much, it hurts and makes my fingers itch. I won't sleep much tonight... Even with all of that horrible hatred inside of me, I REJOICE that this child is ALIVE!!! Her life will never be the same - the innocence is gone. She has looked the devil in the eye and she has survived him. Angels, wrap your wings around her and give her strength. I am just in tears of joy that she has been found 'alive'... rare words to utter. NOW, we need find the perp.

Definitely! She's only 6 right now, and is rarely ever out of my sight. Hopefully telling her again and again will keep it in her head though.
