That is not how I remember it..Media station Local 6 tracked her down, they found her.

I saw and remember the very first, the original interview, with her.
Local 6 Louis Bolden was the reporter who interviewed her in August 2008

Louis Bolden, Local 6, said it was not easy to find her but after 3 weeks they managed to track her down. He said the whole news department had been working on it, investigating it and it didn't just fall into their laps.

She did the interview with Louis Bolden, but she was not shown, or I should say her figure was darkened so we couldn't see her.

The bbm is what she testified to in her deposition, but she may not have been asked how she got there to begin with, as I did not read that the media indeed tracked her down. Greene most certainly would have crafted and asked his questions in the depo to get a desired response, but ZG did answer her identity was hidden in the first TV interview.

What I posted about was just what I read in Greene's motion, as to what and how ZG answered in her depo. We do have to see how Morgan responds, and I was not posting about the merits of the case, only what I read in the Greene document, where he is stating what ZG stated in her depo. The whole depo transcript has not been published anywhere that I am aware of, nor was the video ever released. I am just going by what Greene wrote in his motion, I just thought it was wrong for folks to be commenting on something they did not read, perpetuating the rumors or statements that have been going around for years without the facts of ZG's answers.

IMO, MOO, etc.

LE has every right to "track her down" as you call it, they already knew Casey's story was false when they met with her. Z(no F)G choose to go to the media, they didn't go to her. Cindy never at any time accused or even implied that Z(no F)G was involved.

She went to the media once she had been "exposed" as the possible kidnapper - I would have done the same thing...

I have been trying to find the original interview...so far I have come up with the NG transcripts of the night the exclusive interview aired in Orlando and Louis Bolden appeared on NG and told her how they had been looking for her and found her.

Thank you Intermezzo - that is how I recall it also. At no time during that process did ZG look like she was enjoying the attention she got. After all, this is not how the attention appeared to us, it is how it appeared to her that matters here. Sure a person with more available funds or more education or more feelings of personal power would/may have handled it differently but it didn't happen to "that person" did it? It happened to ZG which is what this case IMO is about.

I'm not the slightest bit prepared to take the defense stance that ZG is a money grubbing individual only, particularly after listening to Greene's acerbic comments over the last few months. Let's consider the source here.

The full deposition (10 or 12 hours IIRC) was released in late November. All the Orlando stations said they have the whole video, and it was filed in court. I don't recall any of them posting the whole thing, but maybe we ought to send up the MM signal and see if we can get a copy. :)

For now, we can assume that Greene cited all the parts that were good for him in the motion, and that Morgan will cite all the parts that are good for ZG in the response.

Oh AZLawyer - must you be so reasonable with this instead of just letting us kids bicker among ourselves?:innocent:

And she was, but Casey's ZFG had NO connection to Kissimmee.

When Casey was shown a photograph of Zenaida by LE, behind the scenes, she denied knowing her- but during a jail discussion shown on national TV,when her mother says she was told Casey had cleared her, she publicly DENIED clearing her - she said IIRC that LE were full of **** and she had not cleared her . With that statement she made clear to everyone that Zenaida "that girl from Kissimmee" as Casey called her, was still very much under suspicion.
Not only did Cindy take that and run with it, but so did everyone else watching. The audience was in the millions IIRC.

Exactly!!! Thank you for adding those "little details". And of course Cindy has forgotten that TV cameo outside the jail...:innocent:

That is EXACTLY how I remember it. I can see Cindy now. She was outside the jail when reporters asked her that question. She had that kooky smile on her face, like "I know something you don't"

Of course she denied knowing her - what else could she do - she had to keep the story of the kidapping Nanny "alive" until Caylee's remains were found.
It was only much later that her defense team acknowledged there in fact was no Nanny and came up with the "tale" that Cayle drowned on the 16th of June.:banghead:

Me too! If I had been getting threatening phone calls;if people were harassing me in the street; if I turned on Nancy Grace or read the local paper to see my name out there being talked about by Cindy and Casey as being implicated in the disappearance of Caylee I might just hightail it down to my local TV station and tell them the truth of what was happening to me and my children, thanks to Casey.

Here's a partial transcript of the jail visit:

CINDY ANTHONY: OK.

We never really got a full description of Zanny. I know she`s got brown curly hair.

CASEY ANTHONY: About shoulder length. She wears it straight.

CINDY ANTHONY: It`s curly.

CASEY ANTHONY: It`s curly, but she always wears it straight. This is what I`m telling you. It`s called a straightener, remember? She`s the one that gave me my straightener.

CINDY ANTHONY: That`s true. OK. How tall is she?

CASEY ANTHONY: About 5-7-ish. She`s just, like, maybe an inch or two shorter than Dad, so 5-6, 5-7, very thin, maybe a little bit more meat than me, about 140-ish, fairly tan, brown eyes. No tattoos that I`ve ever seen, that I know of.

CINDY ANTHONY: Well, I would think if anybody around her knew her, they would have come forward by now.

CASEY ANTHONY: That`s what I`m thinking. That`s even what I told Jose. If it was anyone that -- especially has known me, that knows Caylee, that at least knows of us.

CINDY ANTHONY: Did anybody ask you to describe her and they did a composite drawing of her?

CASEY ANTHONY: Not once. And when they went and interviewed that girl down in Kissimmee, they never showed me a picture of her.

(CROSSTALK)

CINDY ANTHONY: OK. Now, they told us...

(CROSSTALK)

CINDY ANTHONY: Well, they told us that you couldn`t pull her out of a line-up.

CASEY ANTHONY: They`re full of (EXPLETIVE DELETED)! I had told them multiple times, Find a sketch artist, show me pictures. Show me something. I can point her out to you.

I truly, truly love that little girl and miss her so much! God! And I miss you guys!

Then they go into the stupid hand analogy... GMAB.

"That`s even what I told Jose." Jeez. She said that every time she wanted her parents to think she had a normal human thought process.

"Oh, absolutely, I know, that's even what I told Jose" blah blah blah...

Prime example being...what was the man's name on the last day or so of the trial circus where his name was leaked to the media because his phone number showed up on GA's phone? Remember THAT 3-ring? What was the first thing he did? Call a press conference to say he didn't know WTH George Anthony was. He was getting bombarded with press, people releasing information about him on the internet, etc.

Oh! I know the answer! Pick me!!

I see what you mean, though. But the legal issues are more complicated than "do you feel badly for this lady because she got caught up in Casey's lying web of lies?" Greene's motion does a good job of explaining the problems with ZG's case. ZG has a couple of things going for her--(1) the "girl in Kissimmee" comment, (2) the Sawgrass visit. But they don't overcome all the legal problems...and the "girl in Kissimmee" comment at most could be interpreted to mean "I haven't personally cleared that girl," which while false is unlikely to be defamation...and the Sawgrass visit has never been connected VIA ACTUAL EVIDENCE rather than speculation. I happen to think this particular speculation was a great start, but then (as the lawyer on the case) you need to investigate it, not just repeat it.

If I were Morgan, I would have told ZG on day one that the MOST IMPORTANT THING was to figure out how Casey knew she had visited Sawgrass in mid-June, so they could show that Casey INTENDED for the cops to go after this ZG specifically. Instead Morgan focused on proving that the ZFG story was false. But that was the easy part!! :banghead:

Then I would have told her she appears to have suffered little or no legally recoverable damages...but that's another issue.

I very much agree with you AZ. Let's just hope to God that M&M has that information. Because I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW THE ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was there ever a physical piece of paper at Sawgrass with ZG's name on it as having viewed the apartment? If that paper still existed could they try to lift fingerprints or DNA sweat etc off of said paper to see if FCA once held it? Another question. If the date that ZG viewed the apartment coincided with the time frame that FCA went to the apartment with a friend, as I recall, they wouldn't let FCA come on the viewing was it for lack of ID or something other and that she was left in the office, could they not say: circumstancial evidence? Also, was the apartment that ZG viewed the same apartment that FCA lead LE to or in the same general section of the Apt complex? I hope these questions make sense, I am running on four hours of sleep from yesterday. Thank you all in advance.

:waitasec: No more said as I do NOT want a time out.

Right, not only did ZG choose to show herself to the media, she had her son call and set up the first interview.

Never during any of the interviews did she correct the misconception about her name, nor did she point it out to Morgan's firm (yeah, right) when she signed the original documents which included the incorrect name dozens of times. Can you imagine not noticing in a legal document that your name was included as Mary Jane-Smith when it is actually Mary Ann Smith?

And how did she sign it, as ZG? It was a legal document and she is not familiar with how they file documents with the court. She could have read it as the name she was accused of being. I'm sure she thought they knew what they were doing. I do not think ZG's intention was to deceive in any way. I believe she left it to the attorneys decide what was correct as far as how they were written. And it was corrected when they realized there was an error. If attorneys lost cases because they made scribner's errors there wouldn't be too many cases won at all. I've worked for attorneys and I've never seen the opposing attorney hold their feet to the fire because of a typing error. I find it ironic that he is making a big deal about getting the name of a real person wrong when the suit is about being identified as a non-existent one. jmo

What was ZG's intention, if not to deceive, when she swore under oath that she had never lived at a certain address and later it was proven that she had? ZG was NOT identified as a non-existent person, she pretended to be that person.
