I heard they were hidden inside a book. Does anyone know if it was one of those 'dummy' books specifically made for hiding items? Not that it really matters, just curious.

From what I understand they were in a box with a bunch of books she claims she was going to return to MM. I guess she thought he might want them back since she was planning suicide. jmo

"So why is it then..why is it then Ma'am that you showed up with three gas cans in Salt Lake City?"

  • #1,163
Yup! Posters here last night confirmed that on the paperwork done when she returned the rental car, a smoke smell was documented.

Seriously?! How could they tell over the gas fumes and blood smells? If she smoked and or allowed anyone to, surprised the car didn't go ka-boom. That car trunk must be huge to get 3 5 gallons cans, a case of water and her suitcase.

IMO I wouldn't want the jury to know she asked for death (she said if she did do this then she would want death). I wouldn't want this witch getting what she wants, I would probably give her LWOP just so she can "live" her whole life in prison knowing what she did to Travis, no strawberry frappuccinos, no manicures, no men, for the rest of her whole miserable, confined life.

I think the jury will realize she was trying to convince just how innocent she was with that statement. She probably thought it was a real whopper when she thought of saying it, like what guilty person would ask for the death penalty?!? She clearly tried making plea deals and has an excuse for everything so she is avoiding the death penalty now. I would give it to her! Pronto.

If you think they are open 24 hours a day except on Sunday, why do they close at 1am on Saturday? I think people are reading the hours correctly. Example...They open Monday's at 6am and close at 1am on Tuesday's. They then re-open at 6am on Tuesday etc. In other words, they are open for 19 hours a day.

Store hours are 6 to 1am. They are open for gas 24 hours. Between 1 and 6 you can only buy gas. The store itself is not open for other purchases. At 4am she could have only purchased gas. jmo

THe one thing I am still not comfortable about. Say she planned this murder to the T. Running silent with plenty of alibis. Then she gets to the house and leaves her DNA (hair and the rest) and evidence all over the place. Turns the place into an evidence treasure chest. I think she does suffer from some sort of rage 'black out' problem.

Okay, I'm doing a little research to make a post here about an idea I had. Earlier in the case I wanted to see all of the photos, regardless how graphic, so I did a google search using the terms "Travis Alexander Crime Scene Photo's Graphic"...I had to sort through hundreds of google photo results before coming across the really disturbing close-up photo of JA's hind area. I'm sure you all know which photo I'm talking about! Anyway, that was the one and only time I searched any photos like that.

Today, I wanted to see photos of the gas receipts from June 2 or 3 (whichever date she got them). I googled "Jodi Arias gas receipts"....Would you know that typing that in that disturbing photo was on PAGE 2 of the photos and I still hadn't reached the photos I was actually looking for. Now I ask you, how in the WORLD did that photo come up when I typed nothing even remotely close to words that would warrant that type of result?

I just got that image out of my head a few days ago, now it's all vivid again and I am dry heaving as I type this!

I was involved with a Narcissist for over ten years. I learned that if you really listen closely to their string art of communication, every now and then they will insert a total truth into their barrage of lies. She's done this a few times, like red flags. Yesterday one was "we'll never know what really happened', paraphrasing. There it is. She never told the truth, isn't now and never will.

When they say Saturday 1 AM, it is technically sunday (1AM), Stores dont list it as being open from 12AM to 1AM on Sunday. Again, I see these signs all over where I live.

Lol did you see my notes? I was literally sitting on my hands as I had such an urge to stand up w a standing ovation. It was amazing. I woke up early as I'm still reeling with the energy from it. We were jumping up and down outside the courthouse and later in the restaurant bathroom. Lol

So there ARE more juror questions so I guess Nurmi will get another yawn feast...but so will Juan.

Next week will be something!!

i have no idea how you could sit there,i would have been like a kid on Christmas morning.

when you next speak to the family please tell they we all love them and want justice for travis. especially from me all the way from Scotland. Only wish there was something more i could do.
can't believe how attached i've became with this trial, kinda feel like i've got to know Travis, through JM and his family and friends.

i keep playing through verdict day and sentencing in my head and seeing the look on her face, can tell you though i am not looking forward to impact statements, feel like crying when i think of it.

i hope JM finishes his closing statement with something along he lines of "In the words of the defendant herself "if i killed travis i would beg for the death penalty" so please members of the jury, make her wish come true"

Kinda OT but it's buggin the heck outta me.

NG is obviously not watching this trial in detail every day. She said last night that the Beast of JA's lip was not there yesterday, made a joke about it. Yes, it was and we all saw it and posted about it all day.
A few days ago a woman called and asked NG why Nurmi was allowed to confer with JA in the middle of testimony, meaning while she was still sitting on the stand. NG's answer was so off the mark and it was clear she never saw that happen. Kinda bugs me that she is using Cliff Notes and then relying on the guests on her show. I hold journalists to a high standard and it bugs me when they act like experts but clearly haven't done their homework. Sorry for the vent.

I don't mean to offend anyone here, but I really don't like Nancy Grace. I find her condescending. I dislike how she will cut off anyone who doesn't share her opinion, whether or not I agree with it, and talk down to them. I find that when she talks with empathy in her voice during promos and sometimes her show, it feel inauthentic.

I look at how she publicly crucified the Duke Lacrosse team, and when they were found innocent of rape, she was conveniently on vacation the night it was reported on her show.

As well, there was the issue with Elizabeth Smart. She had her on her show after the kidnapping and kept prodding her for what it felt like when she was held captive. She repeatedly told NG that she didn't want to talk about it, to the point where she basically had to tell her off. IIRC she also had an accusatory narrative in regards to an innocent individual who ended up committing suicide over the fact.

Yes, but that doesn't mean that the murderess couldn't have brought a straight edge from her grandpa(!) or elsewhere with her. Or that Travis didn't have one that wasn't photographed, which she took with her, along with the gun and knife. (Because even if she used a razor, I still believe she needed a knife to inflict some of the wounds on his chest and back.)

Possible but doubtful IMO, that would make three weapons.

1 straight razor
2 knife
3 .25 auto

No way do I believe you can stab to the degree of stab wounds with a straight razor, slash his throat yes but little more.

Maybe she burned her clothes/shoes and other evidence in the desert and the stench of smoke stuck to her and the car.

I like the fact that JM ended the day with the 3 v. 2 gas can item. JA seemed rattled and stuck to her guns about returning that 3rd gas can to Walmart.

Shouldn't the DT know every single movement and transaction this psycho made the entire week before, and after, the killing?

Seems to me that the DT blew it by not factoring in the bank statement transactions. At the very least, JA could have claimed that she filled the car then gas cans...got in the car and realized that the car was not full and added more gas to the car to top it off.

I'm learning how to lie better just from watching this slug.

this is totally confusing me,i read it as open monday 6am closed tuesday 1am and so forth.

24hour store around here don't even display opening times apart from at christmas/new year holidays since they are 24 hour stores.

you know even if the were closed at that time she would STILL try and lie and come up with something

You think it may be possible she used that stuff to burn her bloody clothes out there in the "foggy" desert ? Weren't there some missing floor mats from the rental car as well ?

Very possible! Good point.

I liked NG but this is a big reason I stopped watching. It's as if it's "Whisper down the lane." Someone on her staff, tells someone on her staff who tells someone on her staff who tells her. Losing much of the information along the way. I just don't get it. It amounts to spreading misinformation when they, above all others should get it right the first time. I just don't get it???? jmo
