In the Washington post article I linked , Police to Tracy Martin that Trayvon Appeared behind a building in George Zimmerman's gated community.

So why was he behind a building if he supposedly was almost home?

Then came the second encounter, according to Tracy Martin’s recollection of the detective’s account. Trayvon Martin appeared from behind a building in Zimmerman’s gated community, approached him and demanded, “What’s your problem, homie?”

None.... For the most part he ignored the questions asked...Quite indignant.
JMHO

Was that the acting chief or the one who has temporarily stepped down?

Me either and I really wish they would remove the video from that site if that is Trayvon's poor body laying there. That's disgusting.

Rest in peace Trayvon!!

~jmo~

Personally, those pictures are making me rethink my theory based on the relationship of where the body was found. I'd originally thought after that right hand turn his body was found further down the building. It appears the confrontation occurred right after the turn at the rear corner of the building.

Police said TM started two confrontations. What he is saying is the first encounter.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/natio...ayvons-death/2012/03/28/gIQA6MKhhS_story.html

According to Tracy Martin, the Sanford, Fla., detective recounted this sequence of events: Trayvon Martin walked up to Zimmerman’s vehicle and asked why he was following him. Zimmerman denied following the youth and rolled up the car window. Minutes after Trayvon walked away, Zimmerman got out of his vehicle. (1st encounter)

Then came the second encounter, according to Tracy Martin’s recollection of the detective’s account. Trayvon Martin appeared from behind a building in Zimmerman’s gated community, approached him and demanded, “What’s your problem, homie?”

When Zimmerman replied that he didn’t have a problem, Martin said, “You do now.” The unarmed teenager hit Zimmerman, knocked him to the ground, pinned him down and told him to “shut the [expletive] up.”

During the beating, Zimmerman pulled his gun and fired one shot at close range into Martin’s chest. “You got me,” the teenager said, falling backward.

If TM was found face down, then Why would he fall backwards?
(second Encounter)

These are all Zimmerman's accounts, the police were not there to witness any of it. And through his lawyer, father, brother and friends those accounts changed.
Also TM's dad wasn't there either, so he's getting his info from what police told him that GZ told them. None of it makes any sense JMO

Respectfully, if you believed that your son was suspected, stalked, killed, and the crime covered up because he was black (and it is not unreasonable for this family to believe these things) you might feel differently.

Look at what we know already happened, look at all the people desperately saying anything they can dream up in an effort to make this victim into the bad guy. They aren't doing it because they think Zimmerman is this fantastic heroic savior of the community.

IMO No one is trying to make TM look bad.The truth needs to come out ,the whole truth. As you can see when people hide things if does make others wonder why.Not only the family but also all media went with a picture of GZ that makes him look 100lbs more then he is.Between the 2 photos a true representation of both parties was not given.JMO

It sounds permanent or why else would he be giving an interview on TV????

Really! I wouldn't think he could give an interview, unless he was mute throughout the interview and said absolutely nothing, then what's the point? EtA: When was the interview? With whom? Thanks

I just cannot stomach Geraldo....He makes me wnt to puke..IMHO

I don't know why the family would want to be on Geraldo's show after his ridculous hoodie tirade. MOO

Seriously? I have a ton of black friends (young and old) and NO ONE says "Homie" anymore... I'm in FL too so I'm having a hard time believing this account of the "facts"

Did you read this article that you linked? His father is clearly saying that he immediately did not believe the officer's version of events. He said he knew it was concocted. He does not believe that Trayvon was behind any building lying in wait to jump out and confront GZ. This article is basically about Tracy giving the versions that the officers gave him and how he didn't buy it for a second. He said he knew something wasn't right.

You are asking why Trayvon was behind a building, like it is a fact, proven by your link, except really, it is a link to story about how Tracy believes that the story given to him by police about Trayvon being behind a building, stepping out to confront GZ, is not true.

You and the other posters who are making similar points may be right. I don't know. But Mary C and her roommate told Anderson C the same story.

So I will ask the same question that was asked about John's account:

What incentive would they have to lie?

I've always believed people lied for their own gain?? Unless they are sociopaths, of course.

Mary Cutcher has said that he was standing in that position in the majority of her interviews. Her story just doesn't add up to me.

Apart from her saying he was standing, what else in her story doesn't add up to you?

Deleted because quoting didn't work right!

Isn't the walkway where the killing took place between the back of the condos? If so, that would be behind the building.

When I hear that term is is usually coming out of the mouths of dumb A$$ causasian teens! My grandson used to say it to his friends and I hated it!

I haven't seen anything that really discredits her. LE needs to discredit her because she called them out.

Just like the 13 year boy's mother who says that police attempted to lead her son into changing his account of what happened that night to support GZ.
She called them out on it too.

Then we have Trayvon's family who says police lied to them.

Seems to be a pattern here by police.

I find it a bit interesting that TM's father called LE (juvenile then regular) to see if his son had been "picked up", rather than calling hospitals, for instance.

Does anyone think that a potential and probable lawsuit of the homeowners association might effect the memory of the witnesses? And I don't mean outright lie, I mean be less sure of what they remember on the stand.
