2008.07.03 a significant day?

You're right! Let's not mess up your thread!

So....back on topic.....I think the activities beginning June 30 when Casey presumably realized her car was gone are very odd. Strange middle-of-the-night/wee-hours of the morning driving around (per cell phone pings) two nights in a row (in TonE's car I guess), followed the first night by the shower at Jesse's and the second night by Laundry Day at JP/Rico's. Seemingly worried behavior. Then, July 2, an apparent feeling of relief ("I got away with it"?): writing Diary of Days, scheduling the tattoo. July 3, she gets the tattoo and goes out partying (still feeling "up") but Cindy and Lee (and Mallory too I think) start stressing her out again. ("I think I got away with it but they might just figure out what happened?") Nightmares follow....

This sounds very feasible. It's strange to me that after the 3rd it seemed to just stop. There is no follow up, at least nothing I can find which makes me think that there might just be something that happened but it just hasn't been made public.

Hmmm... I never thought of that. I wonder if they have to turn over the FBI interviews.

Those are not subject to discovery under the 9th Circuit, goverened by the US Supreme CT, who oversees the FBA. Non-objectively, I think that it was a brilliant decision on behalf of the OCSO to involve them..

I have seen a few posts here a while back about J3 and the other day from Blink on SM:

mark my words, July 3rd on a comments section about an article on LA.

I completely agree that is ground zero for all things mentioned on this thread, and to add, review the cell phone activity and the house phone records for Cindy, and then KC and Lee and Mallory.. Calls and texts, I think she told LA the car was jacked with caylee in it and he didnt really believe her until the 11th, when it was picked up. But i think that she told him that because he came across something at the A's house or his own.

JMHO
What was picked up on the 11th?

Also, do we know with 100% certainty that LA did not catch up with Casey on the 3rd?

...and wasn't it grand that CA wanted them there as well.

Lol, in the end, yes. With respect to this thread, the girl KC spent the 3rd with, ME, not released either..

Thanks...seriously though...in cases like these isn't it a matter of protocol to have the FBI called in from the getgo? What role they play would ultimately depend on how the case proceeds. But, with the As clamoring to speak with them...well IMO it kept them very well tied to the case. Hopefully, we will see how tied in the not so distant future.

RR.. a resounding NO..
The protocal dictates that the FBI must be requested in cases that do not automatically dictate their jurisdiction.. This can be specifically forensics- related, or of course, full participation, but it is not automatic and not really that common, unfortunately. :(

That's a da*n shame. IMO and FWIW...when someone's shouting "kidnapped" they should have their butts there pronto. So the "Crimes Against Children" unit had to be requested after Caylee was discovered? Oh, and sorry to be a pain, but what was picked up on the 11th!!!!!!!!

I think it was the registered letter for the car. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong!!!

Cindy Anthony testified that they received a notice from post office telling them they had a registered letter on July 11th, which was a Friday. Because it was the weekend, they had to wait to pick up the letter.

Not sure if this is what everyone is talking about when they say it was picked up.

I read it somewhere, now I just have to figure out where!!! LOL

Does anyone know what thread or link that Kyle K was discussed at? I am curious to see how the connection was made to Burgess and Donna Jou.

Thank you

I posted this earlier... it's the only thing I can find:

I came across the article I had read a long time ago, it mentions a Kyle and that is how this rumor about him being this person started (not sure if it holds any truth, I personally don't think its the same person). It's in the comments...

I think 7/3 is the day that CA found out definitely that KC did not work at Universal. Around that time she also found out that KC never worked at that Sporting Goods store. Me thinks she was wondering what KC was doing with Caylee whilst KC jaunted around with her friends.

Blued by me.

I agree. If she went to Universal and they said they had no knowledge of a Casey A., Cindy is not the type to say OK and leave. She is going to stay and ask question upon question until the truth finally dawns on her.

I reckon there's a few more truths that need dawning.

I agree. I can't see her just going in and looking around and when she didn't find her I would think she would have tried to go to Casey's "office".

Well, I've just been told that Kyle is a cop and friend of Casey's. If this is true I find it very odd that she would talk to him on 6/15. Weird.

Bless you.

LOL No problem. I still don't know if that is what the "picking up" is in reference to, but it's my best guess!

So I guess the conversation really doesn't make sense 'cause we haven't heard the notice was picked up on the 11th. I remember awhile back that we wondered if the notification of the registered letter had ever been seen. I don't think it's in the docs.

Yeah, the only thing I saw was that Cindy said it was on there door on the 11th but it was too late to go to the PO.
