I think it's because Casey is crazy as a fox. She knows what happened to Caylee and there's no way out of it. What to do? Act like a person who is in such shock,she is acting irrational and pretending the fact that her poor daughter is gone,didn't happen. I believe Casey is very smart.

I keep going back to the whole thing about Casey wanting a mistrial.

I have a feeling that she is confusing a mistrial with an acquittal.

She is not versed enough on legalities to understand that a mistrial simply means that she would likely be tried again, yet an acquittal would mean that she could walk away from this scot-free.

and i could see her telling herself that as she thinks she gets away with everything even murder, thats why I cant wait for the conviction!

Correct smart or savy and that is why she skipped the face make up at the last hearing and acted as if she had been chopping onions all day with the crocodile tears as per her new attorneys instructions. They dont call that lawyer Cryin Lyon for nuttin HAHAHA Casey is a quick study

Fox 35's 6PM newscast just had a live report from Holly B, at the end of it she said that they checked jail records and Tracy has sent letters to Casey and also money for her jail account!!!???

KC's demeanor at the last hearing made me think of little Jackie Coogan. They'd tell him they were gonna kill his dog or something like that to get him to cry for a scene. I recall her making small talk with her parents one day and she referred to her cell as a " dorm", now I know they are called that but I gathered she used the word to mean a college dorm the way the conversation went. So I can see her deluding herself into thinking she is " just away at college" in order to live in her current situation. She probably lies to herself even more than she lies to everyone else. It goes with the terrority of a pyscho

I was disappointed that she did not come off more professional, but then again it sounds like Padilla brought his typist to do a job way out of her league, but then again I'm just a loser websleuther according to Tracy.......

I agree that she has no career future as a professional witness. But I think Tracy's mannerisms (laughing, etc.) may be the reason that she was able to do her job so well. It might be this part of her personality that allowed the Anthony family to be comfortable enough around her that they showed their true selves. Laughing a lot and easy going (like putting up with wearing the watch on her ankle) was a bonus for her in accomplishing what she needed to do. It seems like she was perfect for the job ~ LP picked a good one! moo

I am really, REALLY perturbed about the whole "Jose is a great attorney" because he lied through his teeth to the media about her Holding her head up high" when she really said get me the 'f' outta here. This is just offensive on so many levels. He's out there blatantly, shamelessly lying about this. I know it's not a terribly important thing and doesn't really matter, but I am so disgusted by the horrible, dishonest people involved in this case. Is there any reason Jose could get disbarred?? The more I follow this case, the more I think that Baez getting his professional come-uppance is part of justice for Caylee. Utterly nauseating.

Exactly. As long as she wasn't pushing KC to like tell the truth or own up to anything that was fine. It is when you try to put KC in time out that the whole family goes bonkers. It is when you try to hold that nut accountable for anything that they start circling the wagons. It is when anyone tries to pin her down and hold her to her crud version of events that the A's get their hackles up.
The blame for Caylee lies squarely with KC. The vindication that some of the posters will happen (ie the A's change their tune and blame their daughter) will never happen. JMO. I have accepted as much and moved on from that.

At least the truth came it, just more to love about Baez, don't believe a word he says, ever.

As long as Jose keeps paying his yearly dues to the Bar and sends a check for his listing in Martinale Hubble, he'll remain a target but not much will happen yet. Eventually, I hope, as you do, that the layers of the onion we know as Jose will be peeled away for all to see.

Maybe she put the duct tape across her mouth because she didn't want Caylee to scream when she started to drown.

As horrible it is to picture, this has been the first time I have ever felt like there was evidence that included the pool. I know it has been speculated before, but it wasn't until hearing Tracy speak of the ladder being in the pool (I took it as being unhooked and sunken) and KC using the shovel to pull it out, that it really became viable to me.

Just a guess but LE may have tested the shovel for chlorine residue. Chlorine is pretty corrosive and I think if the shovel was dipped into chlorinated water and wasn't washed off, it would have rusted at least a little.

Does everybody remember last year when LP kept saying he thinks Caylee died in the pool and KC used the shovel to get her out? Now I know where he came up with this theory. If KC did actually say that she used the shovel to get the ladder out of the pool, and people the are habitial liars tend to have a small fraction of truth in what they say, I think it is entirely possibly that KC drown Caylee in the pool. (that was tough to type but I think we all are still trying to figure out what happened to that poor little girl)

I think what KC meant by mistrial was that there was no case to answer, that she was falsey accused and framed by LE and, JB would set them straight and theyd throw this out. This was at the time the A's felt LE was framing KC and had no evidence, no evidence! :crazy:

LP got all his info from Tracy. HE WAS ONLY AROUND CASEY FOR ABOUT 2 MINUTES TOTAL. He was throwing tidbits out so he could be on TV every night. His interview is very inaccurate. Casey NEVER said one word about Blanchard Park to Leonard. He wishes she did but she didnt. She told him to leave when LP got dingy about his approach to talk to her.
