OMG! JB whined about the money for the tips-maybe he doesn't have the money for the 2nd autopsy!

Speaking about money....some funeral homes charge per day for storage when a body stays at the funeral home for an extended period of time. How many days has the poor baby been there now? I wonder who would be paying for that?:furious:

I swear that is what I have been thinking. I honestly believe he is out of money to do anything. I really believe that is why LE is trying to stop any selling of pictures, because they had a tip he had been "shopping" them to get the money to continue with the autopsy.

Co-counsel, Linda Kenney Baden, has a husband who is a forensic pathologist. If Dr. Baden doesn't feel it proper to do it himself, he certainly should know of someone. So it could be for another reason not related to money. MOO

No...........they haven't. Just because they made it a "crime scene" twice, I said it "appears" that it may be.

Oh, okay. I used to think that the crime scene was just where the crime happened. Nowadays it seems like anyplace that has anything to do with the case is declared a crime scene, however remotely. I know that where a body or remains are found is technically one... but not where they just search for evidence. I think they declared it a crime scene WHILE they were executing the search... but it is not still a crime scene... or is it?

My Mother was cremated in 1991. I was not even offered an urn. When I picked up the remains, they were in a plastic bag, inside of a cardboard box. Maybe 10x10x6.. The HEAVIEST little box I ever encountered. She was not in any type of container, or if she was it was not line item listed. I too will be cremated. My ashes to join Hers and my Brother's, on our property, Dad's also if He goes before me.

I think you are right. What is disturbing is....doesnt the defense have Dr. Lee and Kobi on board. Why arnt they performing this autopsy. I thought they were working for free?

They're stalling for time-after this 2nd autopsy, the defense should be ready for trial! But, I don't think JB will ever be ready!!:waitasec:

I don't think any of then are working for free. (pro bono) IIRC they all had to sign confidentiality agreements about WHO was paying them.

With just the bones, they really would need an anthropologist if they wanted to determine more than the ME said.

Maybe if they stall long enough KC will rot to death, like her poor daughter did.:furious:

You are right, that would be the best person at this point.

When they come from the ME they are NOT arranged. That is only for the x-rays and the study. They just pick them up afterward and put them in a little box, not one the size of a body.

So, she is all jumbled around in the box??!!! :(
I feel sick......

I really don't think he knows how to get ready for a trial of this magnitude.

My brother is a partner in a very large firm and before a large trial they have maybe 10 or more attorneys working on their specialty for that trial. The para legals are there to all hours of the night getting ready. How is he going to get ready? He is a one man firm it appears.

I don't know that for sure, but I have never heard of them putting them in a casket to come from the ME's office. Besides how would you connect the bones back together with so many of them missing?

Well after today's hearing and how the judge scolded him about bringing attorneys to a whole new low, (or something like that) it is obvious that he flying by the seat of the pants and grasping at straw. What I have seen him do in the court room reminds me of the movie "my cousin vinney". You would think he would have somone of experience to mentor him through the process. Especially with a case of this magnitude.

Usually the remains would be place in a small box at the ME's office and the funeral home would pick them up that way. It is the Funeral Home's job to prepare/arrange the remains for the funeral.
