I agree. Also being snippy by stating "even though she was there",in reference to when Jose was saying how hard it is to hear how any childs death is. That made Jose make a quicker exit imo,and shortened the time for other reporters to ask their questions.

I absolutely disagree - it's her job. Jose might consider being more professional instead of acting like a sulky child and doing his ha ha on you - I'm taking my toys and not playing anymore if you don't do it my way.

He said alot by not answering her question and leaving. He did not like her pointed questions and attacked her for them.

There are a few tears, but as usual, when she cries it is a reaction to self pity and is for the camera's benefit, she moves her hair constantly, out of the frame as it were, so her face can be seen. Bizarre. I don't cry often, but in a similar situation - if my little child were to have been murdered, I really don't think I would be aware of or care what my face or hair looked like.

Maybe it's just a nervous habit?

I wonder how the other reporters felt about Kathy showing no mercy, since she basically upset Baez enough that he quit answering any questions they might have wanted to ask?

Refusing to answer a question is a story in itself. I am sick and tired of reporters allowing others to set the rules on what can be asked and then all we get is the soft ball questions.

Today also illustrated how utterly beyond his league Baez is...even if AL's arguement before the Judge was boring and somewhat feely touchy like she was lecturing in a classroom for an hour (Cecy's description of her...TY) Baez is being schooled right now. Truly.

But again, what likely will not get mentioned is the theory the prosecution floated today. Yikes...my only caveat to that, since there was so much fire and brimstone...is that they have the evidence to back that up.

Jose chose to stomp off like a petulant child. He doesn't answer tough questions, period. Kathi is doing her job. She is supposed to ask the tough questions ... that's what good reporters do, not worry about spoonfeeding softball questions to inept defense attorneys and soothing their egos.:furious:

Just saw the rest of prosecuting attorney Jeff Ashton's eloquent description of Caylee's torture and death. And the perp's reaction, tears for herself cause he just hit the nail on the head.

I was utterly shocked to hear that Caylee could have ripped off the duct tape, so this means that she would have had to have been restrained in some manner. I guess this lays out the prosecution's case.

Bold by me - I never thought of this until i heard him say this today, also the fact that the tape was on her in three layers, one, two three times. This tells me one piece of tape was not enough to either quiet the screams or kill her.

My son is 2 and very strong he can fight me pretty hard to change a diaper and can surely rip tape from his mouth in a fit. So he was totally right when he said, she either had to have her hands tied or was passed out.

It scares me deeply to think that caylee was knocked out and the tape was put over her mouth then and immediately she was placed in the trunk of the car so that Casey could go to blockbuster with TL and watch movies.

That Caylee suffocated and that Casey didn't go back into that trunk until days later - remembering what she done and then throwing the evidence into the woods.

it is chilling but exactly what I think happend.

I agree, although we have seen Atty's make very bold statements in this case before, I don't recall any of them coming from SA previously. The theory "floated today" was very telling and that is what is probably in the unreleased doc dumps. This might be fun to speculate as to what the missing items that have not been released to date that would support this new theory.

Can someone link me to the video of Jose and Kathi Belich after the hearing?

I just love Kathi!

Baez was RUDE to Kathi B. after the hearing, incredibly rude! It looked like he hates her.

I think JB was giving very important information. He said she wasn't there! Your living in a fairy land.

If you really look at that statement, you can see he is saying she wasn't there. Perhaps showing that they are not going to go with the accident defense. I found this to be useful information.

In light of that, he was giving important information. KB continued to interupt him and the other reporters until he finally he got frustrated and left. Thanks a lot KB for ruining it for all of us. I found the other reporters to be polite and move out of the way for him. She just ruined it for everyone. I wish she would be respectful and polite so we can all hear what he has to say. This was my take on it and IMO.

You totally read my mind. I have to wonder what has not been released via the Sunshine Law...something clearly has not and is likely very damaging to the Defense. I imagine they are privvy to it at this point. What that is...I have no idea. Evidence of a clean up by KC doesn't substantiate murder...so I have to wonder what they might have. The SA's office, I mean.

Of course they aren't going with the accident route. The day RK found the body that all changed.

JB better cowboy up and get used to it. I imagine the questions that will be asked during the trial by reporters will be much rougher, based on testimony and evidence presented.

If not being able to take some heat from KB is the measure of the man....he's not equal to the task, IMO.

Attn Everyone: Now that Lyons is involved prepared to be in for a looooooong trial. That woman can talk, talk, and talk. Gosh...
