Oh I couldn't agree more, Bessie. And about the pictures on the wall, I'm thinking TN knew there were none up so she brought her own. She feared Ronald would appear as a less than doting daddy if no pics were proudly displayed. She and her mama went in there and cleaned the (allegedly messy) place up before the video, and hung those pics themselves.

She really put too much thought into though-- ended up making her look more suspicious. Because the reality is Ron was a 25 year old father of 2 who had just moved in the trailer 6 weeks prior. I don't think most people would've thought much that he didn't have pics up just yet. And, don't forget the window covered with a blanket.

Bottom line, she goes above and beyond to try and make him look like a perfect and innocent father. It's all about appearances. But why does she have to try so hard? Because she knows there's plenty that needs to be covered up. imo

And about that "heirloom ring"-- hopefully I can find the link and some pics to back this up, but supposedly Misty only wore that ring for about a week or so before she was downsized to a plain gold band. The special ring served it's purpose (to prove how much the matriarchs approved of Misty), and then it was taken back to the pawn shop where it came from. imo

"This girl, who just got back from drugging and sexing it up with another man all weekend, and who let Haleigh get stole just last month, is just so wonderful we're gonna pass on this (fake) precious family keepsake to her."

Again, it's all about appearances.

BBM, great post snookie but what I bolded of your post certainly says it all.
Also about that video of the inside of the motor home shown on NG's show. The place look strange. There was nothing around to make it look as if two young children even lived there. It was obvious that place had been cleaned and staged.
And the night Haleigh disappeared, TN arrived, just in time, equipped for a cover-up. She became the ring leader aiming to direct how LE would react to a case of a missing child.

I found Ron C's first plea very telling not only in reference to what he states and how he changes his demeanor almost instantly, but the look on TN's face when the reporters are asking them questions is very suspicious...She seems more interested in reading the faces of the reporters as to whether or not their story is indeed believable than she is with her grandaughter actually being abducted...For certain she does not appear to be at all frantic, as I would suspect any parent or grandparent would be if their grandchild had been taken in the middle of the night by an unknown person...JMO

UNCUT: Father's Emotional Interview http://www.news4jax.com/video/18684460/index.html

Silly question.....

How do we know TN took the photo from her home with her to Satsuma that night?

Silly question.....

How do we know TN took the photo from her home with her to Satsuma that night?

I guess we don't... but that's what we've been led to assume. TN said she grabbed a photo before getting on her lightning fast drive when Ronald called. (Not sure if she specified having been home though.) And the original police report says they took an item, a photograph belonging to TN.

Any thoughts as to why TN didn’t talk to Greta about how or why she brought HaLeigh’s photo to Ron’s Tuesday morning? TN told her she changed into her jeans and hopped into the car to drive to Ron’s, but she doesn’t mention where she got HaLeigh’s picture from and I am wondering if she intentionally withheld this information from Greta?

TN also said no one would understand how it feels to loose a grandchild and this is certainly not true. Didn't Ron warn the Anthony's to stay away from one of HaLeigh's vigil?

During Greta’s interview with Misty and Ronald, Greta asked Misty, "Had you been drinking or anything so you would be in a heavy deep sleep at all that night?" and Misty replied "No" yet in other interviews, Misty said she was exhausted that night and didn't hear anything after she fell asleep.

When Greta questioned Misty about how HaLeigh was when she put her to bed,
"Did HaLeigh fall asleep easily or was she at all anxious, getting up and leaving the bed?" Misty said "No, I put her to bed about 8 o'clock because that's her bedtime so she can get up to go to school so she's not tired." Misty’s response makes me wonder if she is hiding something
.

Regarding the part I bolded, I think one problem might be that the reporter is asking a too complex question, and what often happens in such cases is that you get an answer to only one part of the question. Maybe even more often with people like Misty who seems to be prone to some processing problems. Greta's phrasing actually includes three questions,
1. Had you been drinking?
2. Had you taken anything else?
3. Were you in deep sleep so you wouldn't hear a commotion?
And I think Misty might be responding, No, she hadn't been drinking and ignoring the rest of the question, either on purpose or because she forgot the rest.

Regarding the part I quoted in green, Misty said elsewhere that she had Haleigh watching movies for half an hour or so before she actually fell asleep.

Oh, WOW!

My bet is she was close by waiting in a car with the picture and her LE jacket already on waiting for her call. IMO, the call she got from Ron while Misty was talking to 911, was her call to come to the mobile home, not that Haleigh was missing. She already knew she was "missing". JMO

It's very suspicious that she shows up that quick with that picture and that jacket. IF she was 12-15 miles away, and I don't think she was, she may have made a new land speed record for getting all of that together and actually driving to the mobile home that quick. I'm not buying it. MOO

Rumor has it that Misty picked Haleigh up from the bus stop. (two neighbors, and the bus driver) This has not been confirmed by anyone in authority. It is confirmed that Teresa Neves said she picked her up. It's on the NG website with the transcript of the show. Ronald Cummings has always said he picked her up. What difference does it make who picked her up? Why are they lying about this point? I can understand being mistaken about what you did on a certain day, but not on the day your granddaughter goes missing. Why did TN come up with this? It squarely places her at the MH that day, so why do it?

GRACE: We know for a fact, Miss Neves, that she was at school the day that she went missing.

NEVES: Yes, ma`am, she was. I picked her up from the bus stop.

Now, who's lying here? Why is this important enough to lie about?

Pick me, Pick me. I'm the one with her hand up with a possible answer to your question, MaryAnne. For TN to claim she was the one who picked Haleigh up at the bus stop after school, this eliminates Ron from the scene of being with his daughter on the day she went missing. It's a cover up. Make LE and everyone else believe Ron was not involved. jmo

Y'all indulge me for a moment. This isn't directed to anyone here.

60 mph means moving a distance of 60 miles in 1 hour.

1 hour = 60 minutes.

60 miles in 60 minutes = 1 mile per minute.

To travel 8 miles in 5 minutes would require the ability to drive 1.6 miles in one minute which translates to 96 miles per hour. [Not that I'm swallowing that distance or even that address.]

96 mph on Hwy 17, okay, MAYbe --- in a well-tuned up car [not truck or SUV.]

Pettit and Rita Lanes at 96 mph?

Yeah.....Suuuuure... I'm buying that.

Not to mention the distance/time required to get from 0 to 96 mph.

I'm not even gonna do the math for covering 12-15 miles in 5 minutes but I think it's safe to say no one except RaisinCharlie knows peeps w/ personal cars that go anywhere near that fast, and even those need consistent surfaces, lots of practice, and controlled situations.

lol - why am I on here talking to myself?

copying debs post from Ron-Susp thread; BBM

By debs:
In general, there's a problem with the alarm system that went out:

Misty says she called Timmy. Timmy and Chelsea (Chelsea specifically) says they were home, in bed, sleeping, and stayed in bed for a few hours.

TN says Ronald called her at a time which puts it during the 911 call.

GGM says Ronald called and she ignored the first one, then answered the second one.

NO ONE says they called the Croslin household.

The two hangups of Ronald Cummings.

Yet, on the video, Ronald and TN talk about how they called everyone they knew.

"I wuz at werk" was in the script from the beginning. (He mentions being there and coming from there four times in the "emotional interview".) Teresa was the "adviser" who gave him that line and instructed him to use it and to not offer any other information. She knew what she was doing, too. The 911 call and the emotional plea for Haleigh's return couldn't be avoided. But as you pointed out, he chewed the scenery and flubbed the whole performance. That's my take on it, anyway. I apologize if I've misinterpreted your post.

I think "everyone they knew" means those who didn't have a LEO at their doors when other officers were still being dispatched to 202 Green Ln.

Dang! She did a good job never naming names about anybody from her own family, you know?

Not the name(s) of who "checked on the children that night."

Not the name(s) of who she called the night Haleigh was reported missing. Except for maybe calling Haleigh's mother's family, and that seemed like such an obvious... well, no T/O for me tonite.]

Bumping for LFlorida

We know Misty had a phone because Ron called it 20-90 times that night.

As for TN, well...I want this thread to stay open so I'll just say I question the accuracy of her watch. Her voice trails off and the video is clipped when she says the time she arrived, but she definitely says three-thirty something. Even if she claims 3:39, that's only about 10 minutes from the earliest that Ron could have called her. I find it inconceivable that she talked with Ron, got dressed, grabbed her purse, keys, jacket, and a photo of Haleigh and then drove 12-15 miles in ten minutes. Maintaining a steady speed of 100 mph from driveway to driveway it would've taken 8-10 minutes, at 85 mph, about 9-11 minutes. At best it would've taken her at least 30 minutes from the time the phone rang, which would mean about 4:00. Ten minutes tells me she was either very nearby waiting for his call or on her way.
LOL I just realized you did the math in reverse. So here ya go.
12/5=2.4 *60= 144 mph = 12 miles in 5 minutes
15/5=3*60=180 mph = 15 miles in 5 minutes

Ridiculous, but I just had to know. :)

If I were the dispatcher of a local LE agency and I was truly convinced that my g'daughter had been snatched, I think one of my first calls would be to the chief LEO of the agency I work for to get word out ASAP.

AAMOF - I would have spent that entire <however distant> drive on the phone, calling my best friend, my close family, Sheriff Sadie, etc.

eta - the whole reason I quoted you, TxLady (d-uh, LF)... Unless my son told me he actually saw someone snatch the child right in front of him, I would tend to pooh-pooh the abduction scenario. It might nag at me in the back of my mind, but there's too much other stuff you can deal with to just go jumping off that ledge and saying, Oh well, somebody stole her.

Sorry - I hate it when I start with all this "If it was me" stuff.

I guess I'm different. I've been there... granted, he was found within an hour and a half, and we live sort of in a rural area, but still, one of my first thoughts was that he was kidnapped by a satanic cult... because there was a lot of talk about those around that time, and some other kids had gone missing... a few were never found.
BUT... everybody doesn't think alike. Truth is... you never know what's going to go through your mind until you are faced with it.

I might think my grandchild was abducted by a stranger too if I knew that she was taken care of by a responsible adult who was beyond all suspicion because of her long and spotless track record in trustworthiness.

If, however, I knew that my grandchild had been taken care of by a teenage drug user and there had been a problem with her babysitting that night because she was too zonked out after a binge to look after the kids, I would probably think, "Oh [rude word], what did she do now? Damn, I should have known there'd be problems...."

Yes, but I was thinking conditionally. IF TN were clueless... IF she didn't know about Misty's weekend... IF she really thought Misty was a good babysitter, as she first claimed, etc, etc.
And if she knew Misty was a drug user, and knew about that weekend, and was probably zonked out .. then why would she have been content for Misty to watch them? What does that say for a self-proclaimed loving grandmother?

Are we gonna be tested over this? Cause you never said there would be math.

Been there done that too, I thought someone had grabbed my kids after school.

But the difference between what you and I thought and did and what Ron and TN thought and did is like night and day. There is plenty of evidence their words and actions were hiding and concealing the truth of the events of that night.

All of this sickens me. What kind of people are they? Everything was extremely staged and bad, very bad acting. Why not just tell the truth? If you do you might be saved. If you continue to lie it will eat away at your soul forever.

Teresa may have had the most recent pic of Haleigh. Being a grandma, she may have been the one to have gotten the pics done and paid for it. It would be sort of odd if she had pics and things like that at a trailer, but living elsewhere. I guess we don't know the situation or whole story about that or if they lived part time in two different places.

Sickens me too... TN has referrred to Haleigh as being her little angel and has referred to Haleigh as being Ron's heart.
She has also referred to Haleigh as being her little girl and Haleigh being a daddy's girl.
As I see it these people view Haleigh as ONLY belonging to them with no regard or compassion for what Crystal or her side of the family may be going through..
No doubt in my mind they have all justified what happened to Haleigh and feel Ron deserved to be protected.. .. Their ONLY concern now is being caught in their lies and having to pay an earthly price for their deceitful actions...JMO
