I think ToC said he was asking to take a LDT since early on but all they gave him was a Voice Stress test which they told him he passed. Timmy took a LDT and told ToC the cops said he failed it.

I wonder if that may have something to do with Timmy saying that if he came back to Florida, LE would lock him up too (or something like that)? Wow this is getting worse by the minute.

My daughter's ex was/is a pill head, & his sex drive was off the charts. He constantly cheated & could never get enough. Maybe because he's young? Also, if someone took Haleigh to molest, there was more going on than a sex thing. I'm not sure what all is involved, but I know there are issues with power, violence, & anger. But would any of this explain Ron's & Teresa's behavior? The RAT? Why would Ron be worried about Tommy ratting? I'm really confused.

I found it strange that Tommy says he told LE all about Ron but they were not trying to hear him. Maybe Tommy did tell them something of importance. Who knows.

Well, I managed to listen to tapes 3 & 4 so far. Anyone else get the feeling that Lisa's not being able to leave Putnam County was done with the purpose of not allowing her to visit the kids? She was always so enabling to Misty at least. Seems like LE wanted to take away Misty's "yes man" for awhile since she always skirted around the issues. Hank Sr, on the other hand, at least gets them talking about Haleigh. I will tackle 1 & 2 this afternoon lol.

I'm just staring to get through all this audio, but already I've heard about Lyn's shopping and talk about her money. Where is she getting money to shop? O/T on the first tape I almost spit all over my keyboard when she told him she was "getting smaller....smaller and tighter." TMI there Lyns.

Guess that's the risk we run when we choose to eavesdrop on private conversations between a husband and a wife. I imagine LC's not too thrilled about it, either. Just imagine some of the things LE hears. *shudder*

I listened to 3 and 4. It sounds to me like LE is playing both ends against the middle. I don't put much stock into what ToC, et al have been told regarding the results of LD and VSA tests.

Here are some interesting comments ToC and Lyndsy made about Ronald that I heard while listening to the tapes:

LE agents Peggy Cone and Jason Joliceur told Lindsy they plan to wrap this case up in two weeks and the Croslins can expect things to get even worse. Tommy doesn't want to associate with Ron and Misty. HC Jr thinks Ronald is insane and a punk. He suspects Ron gave someone a key to go into his house and take his daughter while Misty was sleeping. Misty is lying and making up stories to get Tommy in trouble. Tommy says he doesn't know anything about HaLeigh and he was home sleeping and Lindsy can vouch for him. Tommy Croslin angry Ron was doing drugs and not searching for his daughter. Called Ronald a "no count" dad, a piece of sh** who shouldn't have had custody of Junior and HaLeigh; children should have been with Crystal Sheffield. Lindsy heard Ronald when he was at her place say "If I had $35,000 I could get my daughter back" and is willing to testify in court. Thinks Ron knows where his daughter is and he talked about the Mexicans in Crescent City having a hit on Larry and if Ron brought Larry to the Mexicans, he would get his daughter back. ToCr thinks HaLeigh's case is drug related or Ronald wouldn't have said what he did while at Tyler. Ron was talking about Misty and Tommy when he said one of these two are going to slip up. Thinks Misty and Ron know what happened and Misty was sitting with Ron when he was talking about the Mexicans. Misty could have been sleeping during the abduction but the back door being propped open doesn't make sense. HaLeigh doesn't deserve this.

Question: Was the front door to Ronald's house locked when Misty went to bed and if Ronald did give someone the key to the backdoor, could they could get in? Was the back door secured from the inside?

Does anyone else have trouble listening to the last bunch of tapes? I hear all kinds of computer noises and stuff and they are really broken up.

I do not believe that Law Enforcement are trying to pin Haleigh's disappearance on Tommy Misty Timmy and Joe. They have been devoted to Haleigh for the past year, sometimes I questioned what in the heck they were doing, but I sincerely feel they had a plan from the beginning.

I have always tried to believe in the sliver of hope that Haleigh was alive and taken but in truth I have always searched after this case like it was already a homicide investigation. I think authorities have a very good idea what happened to Haleigh and have a good deal of circumstantial evidence and witness statements to support their conclusions, what they don't have is Haleigh.

OK, I found what I was looking for on part 2 of Patty G's audio tapes. (thank you Patty) They are actually talking about Haleigh, and then about how Joe O is free to walk the streets, when Misty says, "She needs to be......you know, it's not right!" What was Misty going to say before she thought better of it? She needs to be found? Nothing wrong with saying that, under the circumstance. She needs to be given a proper burial, is what came to my mind. Because it's not right for her little body to be discarded.
It sure doesn't sound like Misty is ready to rat Ronald out any time soon. Then again, this was before she flunked the last poly, and she may have been playing the "Joe did it" thingy to the hilt!

Yes, I get the same noises. Sounds like Kimster is recording them from her other planet!

When I listen to the phone calls placed from home, there is an option to "download" and I use that option, because it comes across louder for some reason. It plays on Windows Media Player, and I get the same effects. I'm thinking these were downloaded to WMP first, then sent out by SB.

As I read the transcriptions of these tapes, I can't get the question that TN posed to RC in a jailhouse conversation out of my head. TN asked RC, "Do you think she'll talk?" Since then, we've heard nothing from TN, or RC, for that matter. Why is TN concerned about whether "she" (Misty?) will talk, and how would doing so impact RC? The silence from TN and RC speaks volumes. jmo

I totally agree! I believe LE is methodically trying to eliminate each one, so they can focus on what they believe to be the truth. If this case ever goes to trial, the defense attorney would tear them to shreds if they ignored any tip, or evidence that led them away from whom ever they believe to be the perpetrator.

I think Tommy is desperate for Lindsey to cover for him, but I don't think she's willing to lie. I can't believe how much he's talking about Haleigh. I doubt he barely mentioned her name, before being arrested. I think Tommy feels the walls closing in on him. Misty spoke of a 'dream' that involved 3 or 4 men. I guess Tommy was one of those guys. were the other 3 Timmy, Joe, & Ron? Were any other guys around that day? besides the AC man? Hank was in the hospital. I really don't think Tommy would have any qualms ratting out others, if he, himself, wasn't directly involved. So, why doesn't he speak up? What in the world did those people do to Haleigh?
