2010.04.11 ~ Tommy and Gramma Hollars phone call

It is real fishy because right at the end he says don't let him know because he will run.

Not because he will kill any of his family.

Lisa was really screaming in the background. Say's he broke her heart.

LE sure does have a strange way of doing things in this case. They say phone calls will be redacted if they relate to Haleighs disappearance. So I find myself wondering why this phone call has been released. Very interesting.

Wonder why Tommy now thinks Joe can't hurt anyone, his kids. Joe is free and could if he wanted to. Ron however is locked up and can't hurt his kids.

When he first starting talking about no one being able to hurt his kids and "he can't hurt nobody"...I thought he was talking about Ron. I took that part as truth-he was scared for his family....but then Ron is the one who put the dead rat in his mailbox....not JO. I noticed after that little exchange...GMH ask him if it is the story Misty has been telling...Tommy says "Yeah BUT it aint.....I wonder what he was going to say next.

It fits into place
LD test the 8th
phone call to granny the 11th
docks on the 12th
search on the 13th.

It sounds to me like granny told the truth she said I'm tell you the truth if you don't believe it kiss it where the sun don't shine or something close. (don't recall much today bad headache) So someone told the truth JMO

GMa Hollars told the truth about the phone call and what she was told. It remains to be seen however if what she was told is actually the truth. Still different versions, including one where Ron came home. Interesting.

That was the most interesting jail call by far. It is a MUST LISTEN for anyone following this case.

Would love to know what he was going to say!!

Ok, so this phone call was around the time that Granny Flo and Joe were giving interviews to the media, and now we have this call where people are talking about Joe getting locked up and don't tell him where the kids are, and there's Lindsy in the house with Granny..............where ARE the kids??????

Me too - wondering. I don't think any of them can speak straight. Tommy knows that phone call was being recorded.

Davidson link still down too. Strange. I have been checking that site for 8 months and it has never been down.....not once.

Wth? Im even more confused than ever. Was Tommy lying? Or not? Its been very quiet the last few days...is something about to happen?

The whole thing is fishy!!!

Tommy kept saying HE can't get to any of us, then Flo asks him if it's JO and he says yes. That is just crazy, Joe is not in jail he can go where he pleases, and he can get to EVERYONE except Misty and Tommy. I'm not sure the HE, Tommy was talking about was Joe.

He tells her not to tell and she goes on NG.

LE releases the tape, I'm not sure this is the story he told them.

Maybe Joe cant hurt the kids now, because Lindsey split and moved with them? Maybe LE is protecting her?

This phone call was before Gma Hollars gave s ingle interview and it was before Joe gave an interview. GMa Hollars was speaking to Lindsy on another line. Lindsy was at Timmy and Chelsea's in Mass.

Sounded like Flo said she had her on the other line.

You are correct. When Tommy called Flora, he told her to call Lindsy and contact his lawyer, then he gave grandma Lindsy's number. She wasn't with Flora. Granny Hollers was talking to her on another phone.

So they really did talk about Joe. Tommy told her not to tell anyone. We know how much she listened - called LE, called GGS, called NG. :floorlaugh:

I'm glad Granny Hollers was telling the truth as she heard it. It still sounds to me like they were setting up Joe as the fall guy, no matter how much Granny "knowed". She's adorable but I think they snowed her. Could Granny have put the "blame Joe" idea into their heads a long time ago with her suspicions?

snip~Tommy Croslin is being held in St. Johns County. In mid-April, the search for Haleigh intensified for three days based on a tip from him.

Investigators searched an area around a public boat ramp south of Satsuma, the town where Ronald Cummings lived and where Haleigh was last seen.

On April 11, he spoke to his grandmother, Flora Hollars, from jail, and that call has now been released.

HEAR THE ENTIRE PHONE CALL IN THE VIDEO ON THE RIGHT

In it, he tells Hollars to get his wife on the phone, asking for his lawyer.

"I need her to get my lawyer down here, it's important," Croslin said.

"I have to do something that I should have done a long time ago...just scared, don't want no one to hurt my kids." He has three children.

"Do you know, Tommy?" Hollars asked him.

"All I know is he's got to pay; he can't get to none of us so it don't matter," Croslin replied.

"It ain't me. No, it's not me, she (his wife, Lindsey) should know that...she's already heard the story," he continued.

"Is it the story that Misty said?" Hollars asked.

"Yeah, that's it."

"Joe?"

"Yep."~ end snip

So granny acted like Joe was the bee's knees when she was sitting in her interview with Joe, meanwhile she'd just had this conversation with Tommy? My head hurts and I think I need a grown-up.

There has to be a reason why LE released this tape in the form it is in. Note the tape is just over 9 minutes in duration. Paytel calls are 15 minutes in length. Something has been removed. So why would LE leave the stuff about Joe on the tape ? Good question yes ?
