In light of this new information, there is only one theory that I can think of that makes everything fall into place, and it's the saddest thing I can imagine. It will be hard for normal people to comprehend. This had nothing to do at all with drugs, other than peripherally. The motivation behind this case was pure revenge by a sadistic person.

This poor beautiful young child did not deserve this and neither did her family, including her father. It explains almost all Ron's actions, including marrying Misty. It explains Misty's actions and Tommy's actions. It's clear why Misty and Tommy were scared and didn't tell anyone, including their spouses, families, or LE, what happened. The reason for the kidnapping staging at the MH now makes complete sense. Ron's lack of searching makes sense. Ratgate makes sense. God bless this poor man.

The case will depend on the forensics and evidence found in the river. It will also be critical for LE to interview extensively the family and acquaintences of the person who committed this crime. Now that the door has been opened, I think that LE, with the assistance of the FBI, will resolve the case fairly quickly. One other comment - Pat Brown needs to consider changing her target if she wants to sell her book.

I can't bring myself to be more detailed, but hope that the above makes sense! All this is IMO.

If people agree that names were redacted out of the 911 tape, then why wouldn't Joe's be too? Especially if RC actually made an accusation. That would definitely be redacted to prevent a libel suit.

It would have been in the original. I have listened and read transcripts of the call with that identifying info redacted as well as afterwards when the names were public. There was times that we couldn't make out what Ron was saying, so unless he was mentioning Joe's name then (which I don't believe to be the case) imo Ron is BSing once again...jmho though!

Amber has Rons child, Ney fixed up Misty with WBG who she spent a few days with before Haleigh was killed, and Amber was supposedly with a guy "McLeod" on the night Haleigh was missing, and who later locked someone in his car and assaulted her, and had a gun.


According to police report, Nay Nay was also present at 116 tyler on 11/19/09 when there was a big fight...Misty was also there.

Who said something about getting Ron's child, was it Misty, or maybe my brain is just fried.?

Nay Nay is having her trailer either destroyed or moved, according to the permit's pulled page. I wonder about the cinder block


The rumored party house address 444 stokes landing is across the river from Ron's trailer. A boat could have been used to go across the river to Buffalo Bluff, which would explain why the dogs tracked Haleigh's scent to the river.

I suspect it was planned during the binge, and made to look like an accident using Haleigh's asthma inhaylor (sorry about the spelling etc. I have to be somewhere)

Amber Brooks is the one who allegedly has Ron's son. Nay Nay is the one who wrote the letter from jail saying Haleigh OD'd at a party and that's why they drained the Mondex pond - you know, the one where GGMS said they wouldn't find anything.

Based on this theory, I'm ruling out Misty. Tommy is a selfish so & so & he would've ratted. Jo's not ratting out anybody-yet-because he's on the outside, looking in, & he wants to keep it that way, so he's not admitting to anything. But it does seem that if he was just along for the ride, he'd be scared enough to say so. SO, who to believe...the guy who admits to being @ the crime scene, or the guy who's claiming ignorance, but has 2 sets of fingers pointing @ him? I think Hank & Lisa know something. Why else do they pussyfoot around those 2? especially Lisa. Did Misty confide in her? Misty has accused both of these guys of being molesters. Do they share culpability? When Jr. said that he saw the black man, did he ever say where Misty was? Was she asleep? up & crying? I would think, by now, that someone has asked him.

Months ago, Cummings' mother said he may have done those crimes to get close to Misty after the divorce, in order to learn what happened to Haleigh.

This weekend, Cummings' attorney shed new light on the relationship.

"The police always said, 'If you divorce Misty, we'll find something out. She'll crack.' They've told him, 'If Misty got in trouble, in jail, we could probably get her to crack,'" Shoemaker said.

don't know where to put this but it seems Shoemaker is suggesting that, per TN, Ron may have purposefully gotten into trouble to get Misty into the jail. So as per a theory, the Cummings felt Misty had to get into jail to crack? IDK

After the search we learn from the old tapes that Tommy says he and Joe were fishing at the lake that afternoon of Haleigh's disappearance. What if the story of Haleigh being thrown into the water is just a ruse. Tommy may hope that Joe can be placed at the lake by finding something that was discarded there such as cigarette butts or bleeding from a fish hook injury. Lindsay was telling Tommy during a jail visit that she had thrown away the work boots and mentioning how Tommy can't even be up and out of bed more than 30 min. or she wakes. What if Haleigh is buried someplace other than the lake and the workboots had mud and dirt on them.

Wasn't cousin Joe staying at Timmy's that night? Wow maybe she called Timmy and either asked for Joe to come help with or without letting Timmy know what was going on or asked for Timmy but he sent Joe.

art: JOe questioned at least twice. once alone and once with lawyer. last week they went back to question him. no probable cause to arrest him at this point. trying to figure out what parts of misty and tommy's stories are true and awaiting items to come back from testing. Misty told grandma that she had been afraid to come forward because he had held knife to her throat and threatened him. Talking about the gun stories (all goes back to letters Misty wrote)

LP: says if he held a knife to her throat why would he have been hanging up missing posters the next day with misty. Art says you cannot attribute normal behavior to these people.

LG: watched flora hollers interview (re: body language): talking about rope and hitting in head with wood. Says that was has intrigued her from the start was Geraldo's question if he hit the little girl. LG says the reaction was very defensive. Did Ron hit her and she was in a coma? How did this little girl die? What happened to her?

Levi: now talking about how controlling Ron is and how they could be protecting him.

Now talking about dead rat and how Ron put them up to it.

LG: when you look at Ron's behavior the overreaction (throwing himself on the ground) and his behavior is very disconcerting and strange.

Levi now saying Flora story about hitting in the head with wood strange. LP says that he has been putting money on misty and tommy's books so they could receive calls/make calls. LP says that TOMMY DID NOT COMMUNICATE WITH FLORA AND HE IS LYING

TJ: misty is key to the how and the what to how haleigh died. She has always been on drugs and able to escape reality and now she is clean in jail so she sees reality and fingering JOe.

This theory of MC, and TC going to the lake to dump Haleigh's body really makes sense to me. MC, and TC were taken to the lake by LE. If they weren't involved with taking Haleigh to the lake why did LE take them there. JO was not taken to the lake. I believe MC, and TC are trying to frame JO for Haleigh's death. There is no way MC or TC would be afraid of JO, especially since MC had a gun in the house. I believe MC killed Haleigh then she called TC to help her. TC didn't have a car, so he called JO to pick him up. When TC, and JO got to MC house they came up with a plan about someone coming into the house and kidnapping Haleigh. They staged the back door with the cinder block, because it was also what they used to weigh Haleigh down when they threw her in the lake. JO might be a druggie, but he just doesn't act like a murderer to me.

Mew, I think LE is looking at the wrong brother. I think Timmy helped dispose of Haleigh's body. Remember, he is Ronald's favorite! Anybody that Misty has gone out of her way to exonerate are the ones I feel had everything to do with Haleigh's disappearance. On Nancy Grace Friday night, I thought Chelsea was going to pass out from fright. (not stage fright either) I think they moved to Mass because Timmy is guilty of helping Ronald and Misty cover up Haleigh's death!

IIRC it was actually reported she made several calls to Timmy that night before ignoring others' calls to her. Besides that, logic would say Timmy also because Misty and he were/are BFFs.

Okay guys I got a question..... LE took the van with the scratch in to check for evidence and they didn't find any. They found deer blood (EWW) and the family's DNA but that could have always been there. If Haleigh was immediately disposed of lets say after being strangled or OD'ed would there have been any indication of death in the van. If so and they didn't find any how did they transport her to the lake if it wasn't the van?
