What about Misty..or Ron...and how does she or anyone know unless they felt the urge to sit up and watch them sleep that particular night? These people don't realize I guess that they can all be brought up on charges for obstruction if they are lying..

I wonder why Chelsey never contacted LE right away about who took the van. If she had a feeling JO was involved why is she just talking about it now?
She said, Timmy was asleep due to medication. Where was she when JO started up the van? As a mother you tend to be a light sleeper. Just saying!

I feel pretty sure that Joe's mama and daddy are going to skip the Mother's Day present for her this year.:woohoo:

Man, could this glass of wine have made it so difficult to click on the woohoo guy?

LOL I have trouble chasing that guy down without a glass of wine!!

quick question. In the Art Harris bus stop story which I can't find right now, I swear Art said Misty was overheard talking to Chelsea about the Bad crap she had the night before. Which would make the last time Chelsea saw Haleigh the day she disappeared. anyone have a link to that story handy? TIA
eta....found the link. no mention of chelsea that I could find.

Interesting discussion about concrete pavers/blocks. If Joe came into the MH to steal Ron's gun he came in through the front door, since the backdoor was seldom used and deadlocked. If Joe took HaLeigh he would have gone back out the front door, the same way Tommy went.

So .... given that the MH was staged for an abduction with the backdoor open and a concrete block to prop the screen door open, why would Joe need to do that on the way out and .... why would he risk coming back to do that?

Hmmmm. Pick a story. The stranger abduction staging does not fit with the accusation of Joe attacking Misty and taking HaLeigh.
I'm thinking that the back door was chosen because an abductor coming in would not enter through the main entrance (this is how I think they were thinking). The cinder block was emphasized, because if they found Haleigh there would be a link to that cinder block they used to dispose of her with. Only my opinion, I don't think I could ever really figure these people out...but, I still try.

The attorney for JO did him no favors tonite. He led the public to believe that Joe left before daylight to go see Hank Sr. which anyone who has followed this case is not what the record shows. Joe is in trouble if this is who is gonna defend him.
On a happy note...GUEST HOST!
Chelsea is a mystery to me. What information did she add to the conversation? Joe did it? I am gonna need evidence to believe that.
What I think is it comes down to is do we believe that Joe, Misty and Tommy did this or did Misty, Ron, TN and Granny do this.
Last thought, why does ALL these talk shows have too many guest. Levi didn't get 3 minutes tonite nor did any of the guest on NG have ample time. I want Barbara Walters to get them one on one and get some answers. I'll take Oprah!

ETA: sorry, too many windows open.....

In the news for today there are articles about Tommy's attorney sending NG a letter.

I have no idea if Joe's sent one....that's a guess on my part.

SuziQ, You have just managed to confuse me even more...LOL

I was replying to the statment bolded below...

NG got a letter from Tommy's attorney today or yesterday correcting her on the confession. I suspect Joe's attorney sent her one too.

EDIT.. LOL.. I see you edited your post...

But I do agree with what you said..LOl

I've heard a lot this week about the yellow rope, but don't remember that being mentioned early on in the case. Can anyone point out when/ where the yellow rope was first mentioned? TIA

I think they story EVERYONE wanted to get across was "abductor" came. Then, since that didn't bite... JOE DID IT.

Now yer feelin' me...

Maybe that is where Timmy got his pain medication. I don't remember seeing anything about Timmy being in the car accident with Hank, Sr. I do remember reading that Timmy and Chelsea loaned Hank, Sr. the vehicle the very first day that they got it and Hank Sr. :waitasec:was in a wreck with someone who had no insurance.

I know, I tried to fix it, but you were too quick...I'm still looking for that letter. ugh.

Here's a link to the story I found. A neighbor (GF of a neighbor?) overheard her on the phone talking about the bad ****, not Chelsea.

I really hope that at some point during a trial some goofy attorney tries to convince a jury that JO holding a knife to poor little Misty's neck is why she has lied and not told what happened until she just happened to be facing prison time.

Yep, she looked scared chitless that next morning putting up flyer's with her knife assailant and gawd only knows she must have been terrified when she went to Tennessee to stay with him and her family.

Papa, maybe Joe was keeping Misty close, you know, like Ronald was doing.

More deflection....

I think she's trying to deflect away from Timmy.

Unless Chelsea actually saw Joe take the van keys and take off and return the van Monday night, she can't be certain Jo was the person who took the van. Timmy or Chelsea said Jo was not in his bedroom in the evening and later he was back in bed with his clothes on, but this isn't proof Joe was involved with HaLeigh's disappearance either.

Maybe someone can answer this for me, since I may have missed it or am just not comprehending this....if JO was awakened at 4am by the call that HaLeigh was missing so instead of going over to help look for the child, he instead decided since he was up to go see his relative that was in hospital? Dunno, but here in Texas visiting hours don't start until a tad bit later then 4 in the morning.

M ~

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Chelsea say tonight on NG that Joe was taking his boots off (or something to that effect) when she got the call?

Well, after doing the Oxy research in the basement (LOL) I kinda figgered Timmy and Hank have been "injured" from "accidents" for a few years... KWIM? "He was on pain meds" may have been the truth! They all take the oxy it seems to me. However, I just don't believe Timmy was lying in the bed next to Chelsea now... not after tonight. She's too eager to point at Joe... 14 MONTHS LATER. For some reason... hm... methinks "abductor" story didn't bite.

I think it was real lucky Chelsea stayed awake the whole interview.

How would Joe get the keys to the van anyway? Do they just leave the keys in the ignition? This confuses me? How is Chelsea so convinced it was Joe...all of a sudden?
