2010.04.16 NG: Haleigh investigation homicide. Was she killed at the river?

So now we learn that Chelsea was at the bus stop. The lovely JC did not follow up with a WHEN, which would have been the MAIN fact to find out after Chelse describes the final time she was Haleigh.

What was Chelsea doing at the bus stop? Here's another family member there if this was Feb 9.......D#$#$, was the some block party occurring at Buffalo Bluff and Tyler?

I would be if everyone was trying to point at me!!! I'd tell what I know but with some protections since I would not want to be implicated and sucked in as the perp. So in return for testifying what I saw/know I'd tell LE everything rather than stay in the poker game.

That was my point earlier in the week, if Joe has valid testimony the LAST thing that Misty et all wanted to do was throw him under the bus and turn him. Hopefully they did.

I think Joe would need a lawyer to work out a deal with LE to tell what he knows without getting charges or a reduced charge.

And that's why they waited so long I think. They are implicating Joe KNOWING that implicates them as well, BUT, there's a heavy "misty is an angel" push now. Also the "who gave the lead" fighting.... attorney posturing... I just HOPE that Joe knows ENOUGH.

Whisp, she never says it was on Feb. 9th that she last saw Haleigh. This could have happened days before.

I guess visiting an uncle with a broken leg in Gainsville is the first thing you consider at 4:00a:m when you hear about a child abduction involving your cousin in Satsuma...okiedokiethen. So where were Timmy and Chelsea if JO was in Gainsville? What vehicle did they use to get over to Satsuma?

Very suspicious stuff here...

I do not want to get in trouble but where can i find out about how we all know that Ron made a bunch (up to 90) calls that night? I know this is the wrong thread but do not know where to look for source of this info, not that i do not believe it, but want to know if it is true, as that is the biggest sticking point with me, going against Ron's innocence and lack of guilty knowledge. If the # is true or close, I will never believe he did not know. Thanks and sorry in advance, if someone can just point me someplace?

Hank visits Misty and Tommy when he can afford gas in his car. Lisa and Hank are barred from visiting Lindsy and Tommy's kids. Hank was going to contact a lawyer to dispute this. Lisa can't go visit Misty or Tommy because of her charges so Tommy wanted Lindsy to allow Austin to visit Misty instead. L&H were seen at a gas station the day the search at the St. John's River was going on and Hank didn't want to talk to the reporter. Hank told Misty he knew for a fact Tommy wasn't involved in HaLeigh's disappearance and Misty refuses to talk about Tommy when her father gets started about him. When the reporter spotted Hank Sr at the gas station, he had just found out Tommy flunked his LDT. Everytime Tommy or Misty ask Hank Sr how he is doing, he says he is stressing out. Hank Sr doesn't want to look for work until he appears in court and finds out whether he'll be going to jail. He is still collecting unemployment for the next few months.

My, my ..seeing it all laid out there like that...well, that's pretty bad...even for me and I try to keep an open mind regarding different 'lifestyles' so to speak...what can I say, I'm a child of the 60's and 70's and KNOW that sometimes what's acceptable in one family..might not be in another. Does that make a bit of sense, lol?!

I was going to say that most of that was probably a result of HaLeigh's disappearance (thus..look to your daughter/sister, Croslin clan!) but I can't even say that..A mess..a hot mess..

Well there was a family member in the Hospital which means pain pills were being handed out and it was a great excuse to go to the hospital and look for pills laying around. Oh and Timmy had his script.

Sounds like a party.

Technically Chelsey said the last time she saw Haleigh. That could have been two weeks prior for all we know, not necessarily the day Haleigh went missing.

Bumping this post. Explains Joe didn't go to the hospital at four a.m.

I'm really not wanting to quote you Mew--it's just that I've lost my other posting box LOL. I just wanted to ask if anyone else that's read Misty's letter to Chelsea sees anything in it about Joe taking Haleigh. All I saw was he got mad that the gun was gone and that's "when he took IT". I don't see that as taking Haleigh. I see that as taking some inanimate object belonging to Ron. I still think there could be more....like RC finding it missing and going after Joe. I know its never been verified by LE, but I question that there was even any overtime in February at PDM. If he came home at midnight and something happened that turned into an accidental murder, I see them as still blaming Joe for Haleigh's death because of the theft. They just neglect to leave out all the details.

My mind doesn't think of calling friends and family in the first two minutes of an Emergencey. I'm too busy dealing with the task at hand.

And to travel from CC/wherever to Ganisville to see a man with a broken leg instead of going to Satsuma and seeing Misty or to help search, well in my mind, is ludicrous and not believable.

That had popped in my mind too but it was lost amongst all the other garbage coming out right now. Thank you for bringing it up! Do we have a Misty's letter to Lindsey thread?

The wonderful and biased JC should have asked that question. Of course, now Chelsea can now say it was NOT Feb.9 but it sure sounded like it.


The reasons it was most likely monday, the 9th is it was very odd that rc every picked up Haleigh after school because he left for work about that time. misty was the one who almost always picked her up on her return from work.
