Yeah, I do wonder that too... I mean she coulda given it to LE and LP but the fact that they all wanted the world to know that LP had it puzzles me.

Who is LP?

IIRC, Joe has had this attorney for 3 years. Hardy knows that. Making it sound like this just happened because of the latest developments is deceiving on purpose....IMO.

IMO, I don't think Hardy was being deceptive. "Lawyering Up" is another way for LE to say the person being questioned invoked their right to counsel. Counsel almost always tells their client to invoke their right to silence. I believe Hardy was saying JO refused to answer questions under the advice of his attorney, not that he suddenly retained an attorney because he was being questioned. I would expect any attorney in a case like this one, whether newly retained or not, to advise their client not to answer questions unless subpeoned.

this case makes me wish the cops could use truth serum on all involved

But...who knows how it would react with all of the other Drugs in their systems?:waitasec:

Shoemaker, tonight on NG, couldn't verify Ron was with his family or with the others when they were all called in for a meeting with the sheriff the other day..JMO

Crystal said he was in the room with them.

I guess what I was saying about the word homicide having many degrees...I fear it will be hard to prove first degree murder, rather than reckless or second degree, if they cannot prove cause of death in any way other than by listening to one or more of these people who cannot ever tell the truth. Even if we all feel it is a crime deserving of maximum punishment, the law has to go by what evidence they end up having and they don't always give the jury a choice of various charges. But I guess I am thinking ahead, at this point. First, they have to charge someone(s) and then figure out what they can charge them with, they can always use "open murder" to get started, get specific later. I'm rambling, sorry...just want people doing time for this crime...not just in there for drug charges. It shouldn't matter, as long as they are locked up, but it does.

Joe broke into a Mazda Protege and tried to steal the stereo from it. The owner saw him, called the cops and when Joe realized he was seen - he ran - the owner shot him in the wrist. Joe admitted to LE what he did when they caught up with him.

OMG! Shot him in the wrist? Dang!

'I wonder if it's a HUGE party/group thing and an "oh crap" decision.'

I don't understand the above statement. Could you please explain what you mean?

Also, regarding the letter from Misty to Chelsea, they showed it on the Nancy Grace show tonight. I had it taped, so could stop the tape and read each page.

I think you quoted me...

"Huge party/group thing/oh crap decision" means, in the short order, that there are MULTIPLE POI and HaLeigh died accidentally (oh crap), and disposed as such.

Sometimes I think I must be watching a different show than other people LOL. Actually, I thought Chelsea's answers cleared up a few things for me. First off, I could never figure out why Hank was driving Timmy's new car. If Tim was in the accident, too, that makes sense to me and also explains why we never really saw or heard much from him.

I highly doubt Timmy was involved in the car accident with his father which occurred 2-3 days before HaLeigh disappeared. Hank’s injuries required medical treatment and no one ever mentioned Timmy was in the car and hurt.

If Chelsea's husband was in an accident and immobilized, why was he hanging out with Jo, Tommy, Ron and Misty at Ron’s house on Monday?

My mind doesn't think of calling friends and family in the first two minutes of an Emergencey. I'm too busy dealing with the task at hand.

And to travel from CC/wherever to Ganisville to see a man with a broken leg instead of going to Satsuma and seeing Misty or to help search, well in my mind, is ludicrous and not believable.

It sounds like the wakeup calls were heads up calls and gathering to get their stories straight.....hmmmmm.

So now we learn that Chelsea was at the bus stop. The lovely JC did not follow up with a WHEN, which would have been the MAIN fact to find out after Chelse describes the final time she was Haleigh.

What was Chelsea doing at the bus stop? Here's another family member there if this was Feb 9.......D#$#$, was the some block party occurring at Buffalo Bluff and Tyler?

Oh yes and remember the windows were rolled up in the car, the tinted windows you could not see in according to Santos.

WoW, I really think she is making up a story and misleading on purpose.

She is trying to save Timmy. That is the only thing that makes sense.
