WAIT WHAT?? waive the motion of their client?? I thought she had to be present for every hearing??? Why would Cindy come then?

What is going on? Certainly HHJP is not letting Casey sit this one out?

Cheney-maintain privacy for profile witness.
They want to stop the press/prosecution from knowing who is visiting KC.

CM...seeking to maintain some privacy with respect to those taken to the jail to meet with client, every time there's a visit the press knows shortly. Calls attention to sidebar where they were discussing JC expenses, well unless we can call some jail records to be sealed as to the experts they bring, it's all folly.

I'm confused as to why the inmate is not in her chair!

I thought last hearing to preclude the death penalty, her attorneys approached the judge to waive her appearances in court. I believed that the judge said she would be allowed to be exempt from status hearings, none others. I don't believe this is a status hearing. I'm confused as to what is going on.

CM arguing the motion to seal jail records of visitors

Did they say anthing about KCs absence?

  • #74
in this instance JJ and another witness saying they believe they were at the site Sept 1 and the remains weren't there at that time

thats not exculpatory evidence. all that would imply is that casey had someone move the body for her.

exculpatory evidence is more like someone seeing caylee with the imaginary nanny or some other potential suspect, or physical evidence tying the so called suspect to the crime scene.

Cheney says, "It's all folly!" if they can't redact KC's visitors...hmmmm...talk about an antique attorney!

I have no sound here at work but who is Baez texting I wonder? And when did they switch sides?? Been a while since I watched a hearing...........

Great...don't let me down, HHJP. You do this once, the defense will start doing it for every hearing from here on out!
