Mason saying later statements by JJ sound like they may have differed from the original statements. They'd like therefore to hear the recording.

If the body was moved there later, although it would not necessarily mean that the defendant could not have killed Caylee, it could mean she didn't, or that another party was involved, it does create a body of reasonable doubt that they need to know more about

Describing another case in which a victim made a surreptitious recording.... the judge is asking for the outcome of that case, Mr. Mason checking it

It was the defense that conducted this interview. Even if they don't have the recording, they should certainly know what was said. Don't understand why they act like they don't know what Jordan said, so what did he say?

Sounds like the defense is doing a good job of giving their trial stradegy away.

Uh, Judge Perry is a straightforward man-Are you claiming that Judge Stricklands prior ruling is so tainted, or are you trying to get a second bite of the apple?

The other two men don't object regarding the surreptitious recording or aren't pressing charges I guess

The defense would like to hear the conversation to hear the original statements

Mason saying it's the defense's duty to pursue this or they would be ineffective as counsel

Judge quoting a 2006 decision US District Court of Appeals....in that case the judge said the purpose of reconsideration by the successive judge after recusal is to remove the type of prejudice where rulings might be perceived as so tainted....it should not be used to simply try to get a second bite at the apple... are you alleging that there was some taint to Judge S's prior ruling or are you trying to get a second bite at the apple?

Or maybe she was insane when she did it and didn't realize what she did, and her family went into instant cover up mode, so she should get psychiatric help, not death. I wouldn't be surprised if they said she had post partum depression almost three years after Caylee's birth (I'm not downplaying it, btw. It's serious, and I seriously doubt she ever had it).
