I don't think the younger son living elsewhere is a factor, unless it involves what happened to Kyron. My nephew went to live with his dad for a while, when he was in high school, as he thought it would be more fun. His mom had rules, his dad didn't. Anyway, he came back in a few months. So I'm not going there, unless it becomes relevant.

I understand him leaving and taking the baby, I understand the filing for divorce - BUT for KH to file for a restraining order - there's a reason. How hostile has she become?

Presumably he doesn't want her to have access to the baby, because he's afraid she might either harm the baby on the spot or try to make a run for it with the baby. My guess is that the purpose of the restraining order is focused more on the baby than on Kaine. Though he may well be worried for both of them. After all, if she did something to Kyron, she's capable of just about anything, and if she's starting to get the picture that "the gig is up" for her, she just might try to take out the whole family with a sudden violent act. Plenty of crazy, selfish people decide to kill their whole families along with themselves when they find themselves up against a wall.

Just saw this as I logged into FB to say good night. Nearly had a heart attack. It definitely appears that SM had something to do with Kyron's disappearance. So sad. I've been following this case closely and reading along with everyone's posts. Great work WSers, as usual.

Although I'm not sure the news sources specify that the RO applies to the minor bio child, the fact that he got an RO, has the minor child with him, and has issued a statement with other family members stating that "Any actions taken by the investigation, or by us, are based on the best interests of Kyron and Kiara and comply with the law" tells me 100% that the RO applies to the minor bio child. Otherwise Kaine would have no legal right to take the bio child from the mother's custody.

As the biological father of the child he would have the right to take her from the mother's custody. There is no law that says woman somehow have more parental rights than men. Notice that he fought for and got custody of his son, he knows how it works.

I have to wonder what dots were connected for him over the weekend by the LE investigation that prompted his (and Desiree & Tony's) actions today.

They made it clear on Friday, on a national junket, that Kaine & Tony were speaking on behalf of ALL FOUR of Kyron's parents.

Today - Not anymore. That family statement came from but THREE of Kyron's parents.

So...what happened?

Did they find Kyron?
Did forensic evidence come back?
Did witness statements confirm Terri left school with Kyron?
Did video reviews?
Did the searches find other evidence?
Did Terri fess up with regard to her involvement?
Did Terri confess?
Did Terri give up another perp?
Did another perp give up Terri?

The only thing that hurts more than my head is my heart.

The legal papers came as a complete surprise to Terri Moulton Horman, the source said.

He didn't have to "fight for" custody of Kyron.

That said, I agree with you that women don't have more parental rights than men.

OK, now that I have calmed down, I thought the RO that you guys were discussing was the one that Desiree had against Kaine. I did see it discussed somewhere in here. FTR it was so that property wasn't taken from the family home, until it went before a judge.

I will check 1st thing in the morning, to see if the divorce is listed. They usually update during the evening sometime.

yes it is... I love it so much because he was so little and his personality just shows... the same personality you can see in his recent pictures

*big sigh* Such a sweet, innocent face. Why do these innocent kids keep getting hurt and killed? I feel so devastated right now. Caylee probably has a new playmate...God this is SO UNFAIR and SO SAD!

I feel like throwing things and simultaneously want to crawl into a corner and sob...and there's not even confirmation that Kyron is dead yet, just his stepmother looking seriously guilty for doing something to him...

Jeez, now I am kind of worried about the safety of her parents. Just imagine whats going on in the little blue house tonight. So much heartache has been under that roof the past several weeks, and possibly before. I hope everyone is safe. I hope Terri does the right thing. I hope I am able to sleep tonight after all that has transpired the past 4 or so hours. Going to bed now, this will all keep till I get back to it in the morning. Nite all. Still praying for Kyon.

Meh, I'm not sure that I believe that the papers were "a complete surprise." I mean, what else is she going to say? If she suggests she "saw it coming," she's admitting she knew something was going on or that she knew of some problem that would make Kaine take the baby. She can't possibly admit to any such thing -- so she claims shock that he left.

I just thought of something.

Terri will surely get a lawyer now. She has to. She just got divorce papers.

This means, Kaine held off on serving these papers until LE was ready for Terri to have a lawyer. These papers were ready to go the moment LE gave Kaine the high sign. IMO.

I've been wondering if his glasses were found in one of the truck searches and Terri failed an LDT on whether or not he had his glasses on when she last saw him.

I'm wondering if they found Kyron,but if they did,wouldn't they have done a live presser instead of just this statement?I can understand the "isolated incident",so I presume they knew why Kyron could have disappeared and who did it.But not knowing how it happened and no evidence of where he is,they'd have to do the searches.I just got the impression from Desiree when she said,she didn't think it would go on this long,they knew who took him and thought he'd be returned by now.
