I find it hard to believe that Kaine would do something so obviously distracting from Kyron... if it wasn't connected to Kyron. If he was doing this because she cheated, or from previous issues... he would wait until Kyron was found. There is no way he would do it now, when he knew it would blow up and completely distract from the investigation.

If he WANTED this to be what everyone focused on, instead of trying to figure out the investigation...then maybe that is different...

Exactly. Kaine has been adamant about keeping the focus on Kyron. So there is a reason for all of this. I think Kaine knows, and has suspected all along, that SM is involved. I think he knows her alibi is not holding up and may even have witnessed odd behavior from her the day Kyron went missing.

I've never been divorced but to my knowledge seeking a restraining order is not a typical thing to do as part of the process.

Right, a RO is issued because of violence involved, period. Obviously, LE won't release the reason for the RO untill they are ready.

I am not an attorney so I am not sure yet have read many orders (work related) and it seems like I see "mutual restraining order" quite often.

My Son just had one and I remember it was stated in his also, both parties.

A restraining order to keep the other parent away from the kids is not part of the usual divorce process.

I went through a divorce and there was no mention by anyone about a restraining order.

May not, who knows? I just thought as many times as I read it was a regular deal. In my Sons case no violence (he is LE).

I don't think a restraining order is a normal part of divorce either unless divorces are more violent than I realize...never been through one, so I don't know for sure. But I have divorced friends and I don't remember any of them mentioning restraining orders at the time of their divorce.

I think this is not about Terri cheating. Kaine has said all along his focus is on Kyron. Why on earth would he choose right now to air the dirty laundry of his marriage if it had nothing to do with Kyron? Right now is not the time to be worrying about infidelity, unless that led directly to what happened to Kyron. No, this is about Kyron and I think Kaine definitely thinks Terri had something to do with it. You don't leave, take your child, file for a divorce and get a restraining order all at the same time because your wife was cheating on you at the time of your son's disappearance. That means she's cold and doesn't care, not that she definitely did something to Kyron. I don't think Kaine would waste his time on that. Maybe stop talking to Terri, but not all the rest he has done if her cheating couldn't be connected to Kyron's disappearance, if she cheated.

He knows, and Desiree and Tony know, that Terri is responsible for what happened to Kyron. I have no doubt of this at all. Just waiting for the inevitable arrest now...

Yup. While they're married, they both have a right to custody of the little girl. KH can legally leave with her on a given day, but denying the mother the right to see her or be with her long term is a whole other matter. It isn't typical to get a RO to decide "temporary custody."

BUT you can't just file for divorce and legally take the baby with you. There is more to it than this. If he legally took the baby, then he was asked to do so by LE and or child services. And that means they know more than we do right now.

Didn't he file a restraining order? If so, then he can. I assume it is temporary until a hearing is set at a future date.

Depends on who she is cheating with, or if the child was present.

Perhaps Terri isn't the one who harmed kyron, but through her actions or acquaintances she put him at risk.

Lets open the other door. The man has lost one child, lots of stress going on here, maybe she threatened to file for divorce and he doesn't want to lose the little girl. So he takes off and files first.

Why doesn't Terri have a lawyer speaking out for her? I know she has not been named as anything officially, but she is being persecuted in the public eye. How they will ever convene a jury, if it comes to that, is hard to see at this point. Who could say they have formed no opinion? I am trying real hard not to form one, but my brain knows about things that will probably not be allowed in a trial and so do many other brains.

We don't really know the order of events. Could be he leveled an accusation and they got into a fight that turned physical and he filed for a restraining order due to that. Assumptions often turn out not to be credible.

It seems at the moment, Terri might not have counsel. (that's JMHO at this time...I'm just not seeing any support for her - even those supporting her...aren't exactly helping...)

I don't know why this makes me very uncomfortable. But it does. I need to think about it.

I wouldn't call it typical, but can be quite common as between the parents. But bio parents have a right to see their child unless there is some threat to the child. Ime, it is not common for the RO to apply to the children.

Restraining orders are usually for violence or threat of violence. They "usually" don't grant one because one parent is taking the child - not unless the other parent has threatened harm or has actually harmed the other. Now, maybe in this case, they "bent" the rules a little to get him one - but a restraining order isn't worth the paper its written on - usually. But, now if she shows up wherever KH and baby are - then she WILL BE ARRESTED.

It could be a move by LE to get her to talk - if her husband leaving and taking her baby with does not get her to tell more- I don't know what will.
This is just a guess on my part ...
I hope she is not left alone in the house and someone is with her and LE is watching...
