Hi Luna, Just wondering why everyone is looking at the clock? I just went out on the deck to have a ciggie and listen for heli's to no avail.

Theres supposed to be a rundown on fox 12 or some station at 10..I'm from Ireland and I get confused by all the Tv stations etc here so I'm trying to find the site I can stream it off..I got this info from twitter

I read on the kyron horman open discussion facebook that at 10pm on KGW (channel 8) that terri will be speaking out. can someone local watch that?

I'm up, and going to be watching the news, channel 8 and 12 I'll probably flip back and forth to see if I can find anything. Unless it's posted online? I haven't heard anywhere but here that Terry may speak or anyone else?

Sounds like Terri is the odd person out for sure.

In terms of posting, I'm a total newbie, but I have lurked here for a while. I'd just like to say that Terri being the bad guy, if in fact she is, doesn't make Kaine the good guy.

I'm not defending anything Terri may have done, not at all, but Kaine sets of my creepdar every time he's on tv and/or he speaks.

Wouldn't be the first time. Family members in other missing cases post openly all the time elsewhere on this website.

In fact, attn's in high profile cases have posted here, and have hired people to post here(to create chaos amongst members here for the most part when discussions turned to their client). Not just MHO.

Also, in addition to LE reading here sometimes, journalists reading here sometimes (there are articles to support that happening) a great many of us think that when POI's or Suspects in cases or those that are guilty of the case by they are unidentified---also read here. KWIM?

I have to think he's been given this advice. Also, he must agree with the need to push away as soon as possible. He needs to cut her off from the baby, for the baby's safety. And just think of that SAR - all under false pretenses... He has a list of to-dos from his counsel, he's doing them.

I dunno for sure, but, I'm thinking LE has their suspect.

This doesn't feel like another pressure tactic to me...not with the taking of her precious little girl out from under her. It feels like the end of the road for Terri.

Well, in viewing Terri's Facebook and all of the closer family members' accounts, something stood out to me...alot of the comments tricked off on or shortly after 6/10. SAR - remember Search And Rescue efforts were focussed HEAVILY on Sauvie Island on this day. A poster that said she is extremely close with a certain SAR's crew that searched on or around that day supposedly heard that something was found...then a few days later it was headlined in the news (I think on the 17th or 18th) which was very quickly retracted. I wonder if "HormanSAR0610" is an evidence photo or description / or a coroners report from that day.

This is hypothetical but very thought out. One can only wonder...

The restraining order is because he believes that she may be suicidal. That is why it is for both him and their child. As far as the divorce - he caught her in a lie or a final straw broke the camels back. I do think it is related though and he suspects now that she did something - though we can only speculate as to what.

You don't know that that is the reason for the restraining order. It could be a number of reasons.

Hi Luna, I just checked. Only Channel 12 {KPTV} has a 10pm broadcast. KOIN and KGW have theirs at 11 but I know KOIN does give an update announcement on news at 10pm. KGW might give an update then too.

I was really impressed with KPTV being so on the story when I called them this afternoon. She was good. LOL Had fresh news about the case and didn't even let on to me. :banghead::angel:

restraining order, IMO, could be from the results of investigative information we do not yet have, but Kaine has it now. (see family statement).
You would get a restraining order against someone who has proven themselves to be dangerous - they pose some type of threat - are either emotionally or physically capable of harming you or those in your care.

There are different types of restraining orders. Does anyone know for sure that Kaine got a "no contact" restraining order?

The other type of restraining order that would be pertinent in a divorce case is an order that prohibits one or both parents from removing the child(ren) from the custody of the other parent. It is so that one parent can't just grab the child(ren) and move out of state or disappear.

When a friend of mine filed for divorce, her lawyer advised her to get a restraining order for custody issues. She said her soon-to-be ex was a great father, very involved with their children. And that was why her lawyer told her to get the restraining order; he felt there was an increased chance that such an involved parent might be tempted to remove the children from her immediate vicinity.

The order did not prohibit him from visiting the children, it only restricted him from removing them from their home without permission from the mother.

As I recall from the Willamette Week, Desiree Young took out exactly this type of restraining order against Kaine Horman. So Kaine knows about this type of order and may well be more likely to use it than the average person filing for divorce.
