What was caught on the scanner? I know you cant carry it over but could you give me a round about time so I can go see?
Look at tonight's posts.

Why would anyone file for divorce in the middle of this tragedy? Out of rage? Out of a 'get even' attitude? To complete what was started months ago? A crumbling marriage? To remove his daughter?
For me, I would be so exhausted, filled with pain, grieving, that divorce would not be something I could tackle mentally, emotionally, or physically. moo mho and all that stuff.

But by 8 p.m. Monday, at least four friends had gathered at Terri Horman's blue, two-story house set in woodlands in rural northwest Multnomah County to console their embattled friend after she called them with news of the divorce.
One friend, who asked not to be identified, said that Terri Horman still felt as though the county sheriff's office was on her side.
"They've said in the media that she's not considered a suspect, and she's been told that she's not a suspect," the friend said. "The media is reporting that and that's the same story she knows.
"She's trying to get her thoughts together. I don't know if she's going to stay quiet forever. Stuff is just happening right now. So I think she just needs a little more time."
Terri Horman, who had been just behind the door of the home's living room, popped her head out and told the friend, "Hey, I need you for a sec." But otherwise she did not comment.
nadia and zoey were found alive.
josie and amanda came back from the dead basically.
jaycee was found years after she'd been given up for dead.
please give me some real hope that we can add kyron to this list?

It doesn't say much, but could be a clue. Remember, we don't quote the scanner forum here.

Maybe the restraining order had a MOVE OUT order!
I'm not intending to imply any suspicion here, just pointing out an extraordinary statistical oddity in this case:
This is the second time Kaine Horman has -- with court support -- removed an infant child of his from its biological mother, at an age where it is extremely unusual for the father to have physical custody.
I haven't heard if the details of why he got Kyron at the age of 3 days have really been pinned down, but for a father to be in this situation *twice*, with two different mothers, for ANY reason(s), is just off-the-charts unusual.
IMO the baby staying in her own home would be in the best interest of the child. That poor baby has been through tons! IMO a move for baby would stress her out.
Sorry - I am catching up on this thread! I stepped away for like a half hour...
I wanted to point out that equally - this is the 3d time TH has gotten a divorce after only a couple of years of marriage....I think there were marital problems before this happened - and could be the possible MO.
bbmIt's probably a procedural necessity. He obviously wants to get 100% custody of the baby girl, and he'd presumably like to get his house back too, as well as prevent Terri from draining their marital assets to pay for her criminal defense. Also, I don't know about Oregon, but in some states, spouses can't testify against each other in court.
Thanks Curiousgal, Some interesting comments and the rumors abound galore! It seems to me this day's news, all of it, has been very carefully planned to accomplish what needed to be done and preserve the integrity of the case. LE working with family members and I would think Kaine's attny too.
