Yep. And basically, Kaine's demand to "tell me where you go the money!' is simply bullying via legal means, IMHO. It's a way to try and degrade, if not deny, attorney-client privilege. And, it's also a way to try and open the door to get hands on records to see if there's any little kernel--not necessarily related to money--that can be served up to LE or the media. IMHO
TH's attorneys were fighting for some important protections that could set precedents in other cases. There seems to be several issues that have come up that directly are related to such issues.
If Santa Claus flew in and paid Houze, and left one of his elves to do the clerical work, it's really none of Kaine's business, IMHO, legally speaking. It's his business only if she got into his "mad money" and absconded with it, and I think he'd have noticed that by now.
TH hasn't been charged with a crime, so Kaine's belief in what she did or did not do is just that--his personal belief. Personal beliefs do not negate our constitutional rights.
I have learned so much so far from this case. Every day I appreciate my very successful criminal defense attorney friend and neighbor more, as I'm gaining a better appreciation of what he does.
