It is interesting that there is a photo of the RO on his phone. Why did he or Terri need to photograph it? Terri has a copy and she could easily text, read word for word or phsyically show it to him. What was the point of photographing it?

To sell the information to WW and/or Oregonian- photograph is proof and easily sent via e-mail from a cell.

If her husband believes that she tried to have him killed, and/or that she stole or harmed his son, then I'm sure he would love to have her locked up. If the police don't have enough evidence to arrest her for the disappearance or the MFH scheme, then getting her arrested for sharing the RO would serve his purposes.

But if they have the spyware to set her up for sexting and sharing RO's why not go all the way and frame her for trying to hire a murderer?

I'm not sure but I don't think that sharing a sealed document will result in a very long jail sentence, and it seems like a lot of trouble for little gain. Sexting isn't even illegal, but she'll be madder than ever when she gets outta jail.

MC was in the house - and could have accessed her phone - and any paperwork (the RO) that was laying about. If someone wanted to make her look bad....

But why did he want his own name involved in it? Because IMO he ended up looking bad right with her. He could have sent sexts from Terri's phone to a retired reverend to look like she really flipped, or a scandal magazine reporter or posted them on the internet or something.

I think Terri had a responsibility to ensure that nobody just sees a protected document lying about.

Wow! I am surprised any of us on the board are thinking someone else did the sexting and sent the photos of Terri, without her involvement. To believe this, one would have to believe that during the course of the hundreds of text exchanges, there was never any real-world follow-up to it.

Meaning, per your theory "someone" was acting as Terri, sending photos and sexual text messages to Michael Cook and then Terri and Michael never spoke of any of it or acted in private like anything sexual was taking place. So poor Mr. Cook thinks he is interacting with Terri Horman when it is really someone else but he doesn't realize it because when they talk on the phone or are in person together, they don't act like a single text was ever sent.

Now, that is what doesn't make any sense!!

Terri most certainly is the one texting with and sending sexual images of herself to Michael Cook.

I agree. Apparently, she sent lawnman sexual stuff, too, so it could be an MO for her. Certainly no one is suggesting that KH also sent the sexual TH material to someone who was being recruited to murder him?
No, it's just how she operates, it seems. The throw-away phone is just a way to try to prevent LE from pinging it or getting the records like the other phone she had before.

I thought I also read that although he lived nearby, it was like 7 miles, which would not likely place him in contact with Terri on an accidental basis. I think they just met after June 4th. And both need something from the other, maybe it is sex for him, but it probably something else for her.

If he knew anything about Kyron, I think he would spill it. Sounds like he did not take long to crack on what he has said to date. If he told LE something credible about Kyron, maybe an arrest will follow, if they can verify it in any way.

Does anyone know of any searching going on up thataway? I think LE would try to search clandestinely at this point, if they are following tips. Maybe looking more like a work crew?

I wonder who does MC's lawn...? I'm not trying to sleuth his private greenery, just wondering if he might know the landscaper and share some juicy stories with him and that might have given him encouragement that TH could be the go-to-girl if you want some anatomical reference material.

Well, just about every digital camera (including cell phones, mine does) attaches an exif header to every image including, among other pieces of information, the time the picture was taken.

Cell phones get their idea of time from either the GSM or CDMA network, depending on who the provider is and the type of phone. These times are synchronized to various atomic clocks, so they are quite reliable.

So, examination of the exif header would tell when the photo was taken, examination of the phone records would show when it was sent.

Of course, we could get into scenarios of people hacking phones, cell towers, etc. to make these things look different. But I like to keep in mind the brilliant words of William of Occam, spoken some 700 years ago: "entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem"

If it's true that TMH did not know MC before Kyron went missing, I find the situation suspicious. TMH has already displayed "odd" behavior that is out of character for the situation. However, I have to wonder more about MC and his motivations. Why did he seek out TMH? Why was he so quick to strike up sexting or engaging with her? Basically, why now and why so fast?

In my opinion, TMH's behavior is not the only fishy part of this news. I feel like a lot of people are overlooking MC or dismissing him as thinking with a certain part of his anatomy. However, even if a man was motivated by lust, I'm not sure why he would go after TMH, in this situation, when there are plenty of women to be picked up in bars. Frankly, I find it suspicious that he's wormed his way into TMH's life so quickly. :twocents:

I don't believe it's been stated anywhere just WHEN these pictures were taken. Whether TH sent them or someone else did, they still might not be current photos. They could even be from back in her body building days. I think it's just being assumed that the photos were recently taken.

I am quite suspicious of MC. . . I know we can't sleuth him, but it's chapping my (proverbial) hide. Does MC drive a white pickup? Just one of many questions I have.

How did we get this info anyway? Did MC sell this to the media?

Wow, thanks so much for posting that. It was full of irony knowing just exactly what was going on at the time he did that interview as he talks about "speculation" becoming relevant. Honestly, I just don't know what to make of this. Something is bothering me about the things he says and his overall tone. I just can't pinpoint what it is.

I'll say this, though, he definitely seems have a history of wanting the media attention. Or at least, he did prior to the revelations made in the last 24 hours.

I ran a quickie search and indeed, he was photographed twice (or interviewed?) by media standing next to a darker blue truck with Kyron's missing flyer posted in the window.
