2010.07.19 Defense is Investigating George

Ok, let's put it all out there side by side in a way.

George:
1. Ex LE that had worked homicide.
2. Graduated from high school.
3. Intelligent enough to know not to place a body that close to his home.
4. Didn't have access to the car during those 31 days.
5. Has shown real emotion over the death of Caylee.

Casey:
1. Ex employee of Universal where she took pictures of guests on rides.
2. Didn't graduate high school.
3. Doesn't appear to think ahead more than a minute or two so would not think about the "oopsies" of putting a body that close to her home.
4. Had access to the car and Caylee during those 31 days.
5. Has yet to show any emotion other than rage over the death of Caylee.
6. Has a record of telling lies.
7. Did not want to have a baby but was "forced" to not only deliver Caylee but "raise" her as well.
8. Admits that she is a "spiteful b!tch".

I'm thinking that the defense may want to rethink their "blame George and make it sound/look believable" strategy. I do see how George, Cindy and/or Lee could have had means and opportunity but I still fail to see how any of them had motive other than Casey.

The blame GA strategy beats the "A man from Mars came down and did it and then flew away in his Kia Saucer" or some such garbage thing. They REALLY don't have much to work with, they're grasping at straws. I'm getting worried that somehow I'll be brought into this somehow.

Being an unfit mother is reason to take custody away. Casey said to Lee that Cindy had called her that many times. I am sure Cindy could convince a court that KC was in fact unfit to care for her, if she revealed to them whatever made her say that so many times. Neglect, not providing for her, dumping her on Cindy most of the time, putting her kid in bed with other males, taking her to adult parties would make a good start.... obviously Cindy knows of more egregious things too..

I understand your thinking. The judge would have seen immediately CAs veiled, think jealous, attempt. Caylee was not neglected by legal standards. And CA willingly provided all the necessities for both UCA and Caylee. Had ICA been living on her own, and the courts deemed Caylee neglected, that is different.

Regardless, the courts would have demanded the birth father be notified of any and all hearings. That would have involved a death certificate as well as genetic proof. So CA was out of options any way she looked at it because she and GA definitely refused to share Caylee with anyone.

Now IIRC the suicide letter, some 7 or 8 pages worth, BC said it was about regrets and apologies GA had. Wonder just how much was said about ICAs lack of parenting skills, whether there was serious talks about it.

Okay, now I have read through 8 pages of this thread and have no freakin clue as to why GA is being investigated by the defence, I've read the theories but none add up. After learning about River, wasn't it determinned that GA attempted suiside some how related to that, River being similar to the nanny that was discribed. So could it be that instead of trying to discredit GA testomony they are trying to prove that GA and River killed Caylee and framed Casey???
Is this plausable at all?

I never saw the suicide attempt determined to be as the result of RC. Do you have a link pertaining to this? TIA

My jaw dropped when I read this, and it hit me just how much of a monster casey really is. To LET her attorneys go down this route is inhuman. If I were accused of a crime and even if I was stone cold INNOCENT, I would still plead guilty at this point to keep my family from further suffering and humiliation and accusations. It reminds me of king solomon and splitting the baby. At some point, you will say enough is enough, it's over, I give up, the suffering of others is too much to bear. But no, she's all on board with it (letting her father be discredited, be labelled crazy, and possibly a murderer), on the off off off chance it might help her. Sick sick sick. If George had any sense whatsoever, he would now start showing up at every single hearing to sit on CAYLEE'S side. I'm seriously stunned.

I'm with you. I didn't think that Casey could sink any lower but there she is. Anything to try and save her own butt. Now I understand why she hasn't wanted to see her family all of this time. It hasn't had anything to do with the videos or anything else. She knew all along that she was going to do this and so she started to distant herself from them early on. I think this is why she blamed George and Lee for molesting her. Try to make them look as bad as she can now so the jury will think whichever becomes accused is really a lowlife. I hope she gets the death sentence. She doesn't deserve to even breathe air she is so disgusting. Can't say what I really think or I'd get the boot.

See I'm not entirely sure if I completely believe this (bolded area). At least from GA. He did write that angry letter to ICA after her abuse allegations and sent it through the jails mail having some knowledge of it's potential release to the public. That one letter from GA makes me ask alot of questions. To me GA seems to walking a fine line in the gray spectrum.

I didn't know that George wrote a letter to Casey after she accused him. Do you have the link because I would love to read it. Don't get me wrong...I believe you..lol.

Completely agree! As a mother of a foster child the same age Caylee would have been...I can guarantee you that kids have been taken away from their biological parents for ALOT less. Neglect is all you really have to prove to get an investigation. The fact that she has no means to support Caylee's basic needs, putting her in bed with other males, taking her to adult parties.. would have sealed the deal. At least in our state. The state wants to keep kids with relatives if possible. If there is not fit option, they end up in foster care. CA had a good argument and a VERY good chance of winning custody of Caylee. Even if only temporary to allow KC to make some changes.
