You are 100 percent correct. I just came back to correct my post but unfortunately cannot correct the title.

The interview was conducted by Casey's defense team NOT LE.

Okay, I see he is not a minor but what I also see is he is shaking his foot. His shoulder are slightly shaking as they do when you are nervous and shaking your foot. Shows obvious discomfort with what he is doing and saying. Plus he has his facts wrong and dates are incorrect. Not a good canidate for defense. Other than that he I did not see anything different than what RK has said. jmo

So you think RK had something to do with Caylee's demise? We are getting that information from LP and the feeling is that Ofc. Cain really didn't screw up because he was 100 yards off. Ofc. Cain was relieved of his duty, fired after an internal investigation which obviously told police RK was not off by 100 yards. The man no longer has his job, nor does RK, the judge had to remove himself from her case, her parents no longer have jobs, her brother is in hiding, the cop she was dating for lying to LE, etc. How many people have suffered because KC feels it is within her right not to tell police/SA what happened with her child. She never said the meter reader took her. She said it was the Nanny. LE is not backing away from anything because they know the truth, obviously. And so don't we, discovery is painting a very vivid picture of our little miss. Not so pretty as she sits there and fluffs her hair in court.....jmo

BBM ~ No I never said that. I didn't hear LP say that either but I don't know what he thinks.

I'm just not clear how all of the people that showed up and became involved in the case ended up there. I mean we have a neighbor to the A's who happens to be RK's boss. We have Kio who's dad happened to live on the A's block. We have RK who finds but doesn't find the remains for almost five months. We have DC with his connections to psychics and some person called Luke. We have the prison inmates, employees and such who are not always above board. Everyone is in it for their own reasons and some people are trying to figure out their reasons. I can't just believe what they say at face value when it doesn't ring true to me. That's why I'm having a huge problem with KC's parents whose behavior has been so off the charts strange; I can't believe anything they say either.

I'm beside myself that this case has been lingering for over two years and just becomes more confusing by people inserting themselves into it. Why do they allow a trial so long to get underway if it's so simple that KC killed Caylee? I don't get it.

And isn't he a minor. If this is true, what is wrong with a PI who would release this information to the public. This is probably why there has been nothing from LE. jmo

No I don't think he's a minor. My understanding is that he is around KC's age - early to mid twenties but I'm not sure of his age.

  • #104
I thought the interview was by defense's PI, not LE. Isn't he a minor? If LE interviewed him not sure we would see it and if there was a retraction from BS we also would not see it.....jmo

I ran across where LE did request BS's cell phone records though. They have not been released as far as I know.
That indicates to me that LE wants to verify Brandon's claims that Roy did call him, etc.

But Lampchop if RK said he picked something up and a skull rolled out, he should be able to walk the cop right up to the site. That's what I think. :waitasec:

Bless all of you who actually can sit and watch this carp. My Sharp LCD tv would be sitting on the floor in pieces if I watched it. Besides, there is a pre-season football game on for me ......

I am so sorry I watched it!

If this trial ever does start, I'm definitely going to have to get prescribed a tranquilizer or something. My mind starts racing with all the ifs, ands or buts and I feel nutso!

Copied from Mythbusters #33:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In some of the attempts to discredit Roy Kronk and his find, a rumor/myth cropped up that his supervisor, "Scott", lived on Hopespring and had sent Kronk to look for Caylee.

http://www.wftv.com/pdf/18740699/detail.html

Fact: no mention of "Scott" or Hopespring Drive among water department employees.

"Alex Roberts, Blue Earth Ct, Orlando...is Roy Kronk's direct supervisor."

"David Dean, Rouse Rd, Orlando ...with Roy Kronk the day he first saw suspicious items..."

"Christopher Gibson, Bo Jeremy Dr, Orlando...with Roy Kronk the day he first saw suspicious items..."

Not sure why this rumor is still surfacing because we have been over and over this particular story of the supervisor many times. It just is not true. Nor are most of the other rumors we are hearing about this man.

This case is lasting two years because little Ms. Anthony has decided that is what she wants. They have never had a defense and have been stalling since day one trying to scrape up someone to pin this on. Death is different so they will give her proper time to make her case. Right now she is not doing too good. We should all be grateful that no one we know found those remains because Mr. Kronk has been put through he!!. I hope he sues the whole lot of them...... jmo

After how many days? One Hundred and Thirty?

How much more evidence would exist if the body had been recovered in August? If it were me and I thought there was a dead child/person there, I would have insisted one way or another that we get to the bottom of it. Blame LE then but the body was not recovered until December 11, 2008.
LP is saying that RK was tipped off but missed the location by 100 yards or so (meaning he didn't really see the bag/skull is August).
It's hard for me to fathom that anyone would see what they thought to be a human skull and just say 'oh well' when LE didn't cooperate and their feelings were hurt. Get some b*lls. That's how I feel and I'm not even a very brave person.
I have a story...may or may not be related...having b*lls really doesn't have anything to do with it, IMO. Denial...perhaps. My sister was not heard from for a period of over 2 months. Her daughter (who didn't live with her) called LE 5x to get someone to come over and open the door. It wasn't until my niece called my sister's doctor and asked if he would call the police did she get a response. My sister was found dead in her bed. We figured she had been dead for the whole time. There were a lot of people who did nothing. That includes me. I was estranged from my sister and wasn't called until it was too late. After the fact there were a lot of woulda, coulda, shouldas...but it didn't change the fact that my sister was still dead. Perhaps, RK didn't want to believe what he saw. Maybe he was reluctant to get involved. Maybe he made hundreds of excuses why he shouldn't demand someone to come. The most important thing to remember is that in the end, Caylee was found and brought home to her family. JMHO

I believe RK was not reassigned to that area again until December. It's in his depo, I think. Where did you see he was on that route in September and October because it was not his normal route..... jmo

In part 1 of this interview, he says he was back in Sept/October on that route.

I ran across a post where Leonard P. first stated that RK's supervisor lived on the same block as the Anthonys. LP said this on NG on January 6, 2009. (Source is websleuths thread called 'NG Wednesday 1/7/09', pg. 13, post 315.) I haven't read the mythbusters thread yet as I've been trying to figure out why I can't believe RK.

Here's why ~ during his phone calls to LE in August - one call on the 11th, one call on the 12th, and then the last call on the 13th when he was actually at the site and Cain showed up. Cain didn't see what he was talking about and Kronk described, in his calls, a grey - next day shiny silver bag - looks like a pool cover he said in one call - and then a small white thing under a tree and the tree has a white board going across it he said. Now why didn't Cain see these things? Why didn't Kronk take Cain by the hand and point directly to what he was talking about while they were both there together at the site?

During his interview with LE on December 11, 2008, Kronk describes finding a black plastic bag with a dome. He took his meter stick and hit the dome and it thudded. He then took the curved end of the meter stick and pulled the bottom of the black bag and a human skull dropped out with hair around it and duct tape across the mouth. He called his supervisor Alex first who was his supervisor that day. (document can be viewed in Documentation Thread, pg.5, post 117 dated 3/5/09)

RK says his 'big' supervisor is Rusty and Rusty's boss is Kevin.
Alex, the guy he called, is Alex Roberts and his interview was released too.
I'm not seeing reference to the other two names you listed.
RK said in his first interview they are Alex (but for that day), Rusty and Kevin.
How come these are different names than those mentioned above?

What I want to know is how the grey/silver bags described in the phone calls turned to black and how the the little white thing under the tree that Kronk recognized as a skull when he called in August rolled back into a now black bag? The details do not gel with me - they just don't. And I also want to know how LE can discount these discrepancies.

We probably won't have answers to that until they go to court and then we will have the answers. But for now LE cleared him and apparently he has nothing to hide as his whole life has been laid open for the world to see. My guess defense will not be using him either because there is no reason to believe he had anything to do with Caylee's death. His wereabouts have been accounted for.....same as Ms. Anthony's. When RK testifies I see us saying "Oh, now I see". Sorry, JB thinks we'll be saying that about KC. jmo

Was Kronks girlfriend ever interviewed? Did he have a roomate or live with his girlfriend?

I'm terribly sorry to hear about you and your family having to cope with not only your sister's death but how hard it was for your family to get help.

Your story is clear though. Family member called, LE didn't respond. Someone thought to call an authority (Doctor) and that got results and fears were confirmed.

I'm trying to point out how RK's stories/details were not consistent. He was an outsider not any relationship to the case. For the life of me, I don't understand how all of you, who are excellent sleuters, can overlook these inconsistencies. Plus he got fired from his job - why did that happen? That doesn't seem fair if he's above board. I'm feeling somewhat crazy right now as if I'm saying the sky is blue and everyone else is insisting it's green. Oh well, I'm not the final judge and jury.

Was Kronks girlfriend ever interviewed? Did he have a roomate or live with his girlfriend?

From the transcript of the show:

LEONARD PADILLA, BOUNTY HUNTER: Well, she`s -- she`s probably on the fringe of something. Kronk lived -- his girlfriend Michelle worked at the jail. I have no doubt, in studying Kronk and his background, that he was guided to the area. But he missed it by about 100 feet because he was keying in on the wrong tiles.

But he knew where he could find the body. There was no -- no guesswork in his mind. He just was 100 feet off. He got that information from Michelle. Now neither the defense nor the prosecution --

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Who is Michelle?

PADILLA: Michelle is his girlfriend. She works at the jail. Nobody -- not the defense, not the prosecution -- has taken her deposition. I think that the defense is treading lightly on that information because she`s liable to say she got it from somebody that worked at the jail and this is what they overheard between Casey and her attorney.

On the other hand, the prosecution might not want to know that there was somebody involved at the jail that overheard the conversation. So I think Cindy is touching on that.

The other thing she`s saying is that back on the 9th --

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Well, let me get -- I`ve got to get back to this. So you`re saying there is --

PADILLA: Sure.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: In your opinion, some kind of conspiracy and Roy Kronk wasn`t just a meter reader with a good gut. That he was directed there by his girlfriend who worked at the jail, who may have overheard Casey talking about the location of the little girl`s body?

PADILLA: I don`t think she overheard Casey talking about it directly. I think she was told by somebody that works at the jail, one of her co- workers, that they had overheard a conversation between her and Baez. That is why Baez has not taken Michelle`s deposition.

And this rumor or this innuendo or this idea has been floating around for quite some time now. Kronk was not just an innocent meter reader that was walking along the road, decided to relieve himself, and stumbled on to the bag. He knew exactly where he was going, but he was 100 feet off from where he had been told the body was.

Here's a little detail to keep in mind when digging back through the records and threads from earlier in the case. I don't believe that a single story or theory that LP has put forth has ever turned out to be true accurate or been corroborated by any other witness or form of evidence. He has had lots of theories and tall tales that he spread liberally and publicly, but really they are not and never have been evidence. I don't believe either the prosecution or the defense has good old LP on their witness lists, nor do they plan on deposing him. Love or hate LP, regardless don't treat him as a first person source.
