True but .... with good debating skills facts can be easily twisted. I think that Janie W could use her passion to successfully argue that a Black box is actually White.

I used to consult to a high-profile credit card company and my success was being able to take either side of any debate and present a compelling argument that convinced others, or the majority. I just did my research and got my talking points and while the other side might have had a better solution .... my articulate passion won every time.
JW gives me a headache.

Thankfully, no one on the defense can do that if they tried. Not even about to retire master lawyer Mason. They couldn't twist a pretzel if they tried much less facts. Debate, them, HA! If that were the case, they wouldn't continue to look like such fools everytime they open their mouths. Thankfully, JW is NOT a part of that defense or I might be actually worried. I'd say they need someone like JW or you, cyberborg, but thank GOD you're on Caylee's side and would never help them out! I can't wait to watch them sink themselves at trial.

All that being said...I often wonder after each segment if she is applying for a position...we all know these atty keep coming and going...she may be next!---can't stand her!!!!!!!:twocents:

True but I am very glad that JW is not on the ICA Defense team. She is very effective at spinning in an articulate way that comes across as very plausible and believable .... if you did not know better. She is very outspoken and vehemently challenges the statements of others and evidence -- so many back down on real facts.

I always thought she was on the Defense payroll but it is also a great way to market her Defense attorney skills, to so forcefully argue the innocence of ICA.

I had to laugh though when it was said the daisy chain came from the jail and thus Casey yet JW even debated that .... so LE must have SODDI already locked up with KC and that's where RK got the dump site from.

Sheeesh!

But if you believe in the daisy chain you have to believe KC is guilty.......jmo

She is quite the manipulator, isn't she? Last night I had JVM on for awhile and my hubby who isn't well informed on the case was listening and he ended up saying, "Sounds like the State doesn't have much to go to trial with"!!! I told him not to pay any attention to JW because she either stretches or shrinks the facts to suit her own theories.

Listening to JW gives me flashbacks of Cindy in her surly days, hammer in hand, spewing misinformation. I get the same effect...I just want to say "oh shut the h*ll up!" Complete nonsense!

The Defense has not put Kronk's girlfriend on their witness list (that we know of).
Both sides have until August 31, 2010 to complete their Witness List.

--respectfully snipped for subject matter

I knew this, but WOW! That date snuck up on me - that is only 2 weeks away!

eta: fwiw, that date has to be flexible because the TES issue still is up in the air. :innocent:

Padilla is nuts! Talking about conspiracy theory with Kronk and his girlfriend that works in jail.

Baez declined to come on the show!

Weintraub needs some duct tape! :banghead: Feeding into Padilla's conspiracy theory.

Watching now as I taped the 3AM airing of JVM. Several of the reporters are confused regarding RK's story. Mike Brooks, Jayne Weintraub, LP and Rozzie Franco.
Jayne W. says, "I too think RK is very funny business here...". Rozzie Franco points out that RK has given conflicting statements in his multiple interviews.
Mike Brooks says, "did he just happen upon this ... the jury is still out on this one - I still don't know his real role in this Jane."
Jean Casarez thinks RK might be a strong prosecution witness. JW tells JC that she's rushing to judgment. MB says, "One thing we do know is that anything that has ever come out of Casey Anthony's mouth has been a lie." JW says, "That doesn't mean she's a murderer." Wow.

At least there's a debate going on between the talking heads. As I expressed earlier, my impression is that there is something "off' regarding RK's version of his discovery story. The majority of the panel are questioning his version now.

Roy Kronk's girlfriend's name, who is a person working within the jail, is Michelle! Ginette, the self proclaimed psychic, emailed someone named Michelle with info about her new contact 'Luke' - we were just examining that on another thread (DC email thread). Interesting. Could GL and LukeP have had an inside connection to the jail?

So just because RK does not want his "you know whats" hanging out there in the breeze people think he is suspicious. How about a mother who refused to cooperate with LE, does not report her child missing....ever.....and in those 31 days she was free of childcare she lived the beautiful life (according to her tatoo)? If we took RK out of the mix and it was one of us who just happened to be looking to see what type of junk was in that woods and we saw something, called it in, were told the officer looked and found nothing would we still be curious. Of course we would and we would probably return later to take another look which is exactly what RK did.

RK has been cleared by LE, 100%. He is a crucial witness for the prosecution. They would not be using him if they felt he was not credible. Guaranteed they have turned over every leaf on this man whose only sin was finding the body. I still do not get the part about KC being a liar, untrustworthy, thief, etc. having nothing to do with murdering her child....lying does not mean you ARE a murderer, but lying about what happened to your child certainly makes you the number one suspect....bar none.

I'm still not sure why there is discussion about RK when LE knows so much more than he has revealed himself. Maybe his stories are inconsistent because LE has told him not to reveal certain information. We just do not know. What we do know is mommy lost her child and refuses to tell the truth about what happened but has reduced it to a game of "Clue". Not funny in the least for her family and certain does dishonor the memory of her daughter. jmo

Yikes, I just read the whole thread - looks like I entered into enemy territory. Sorry ~ I'm just stating what I have always questioned while thinking about the circumstances of RK's testimony.

Hey- Cindy, Dom, Luke, & Ginnette are all just PO'd that Roy managed to find the body when they couldn't and didn't want to admit to searching for, so they're looking to discredit him, that's all. He could be the worst person in the world (although it's hard to imagine worse than Casey), and yet he still had a shred of humanity in him, and did the right thing. It ended Caylee's rotting in the woods undignified, like trash to picked at by animals!

The reason we have threads is to try to explore each piece of the puzzle. Most of what you say above is true but it doesn't mean RK has told the whole truth either - his background is not stellar. Just saying.

Some people have a hard time believing him and yet don't know why or how it fits or doesn't fit into the whole picture. Maybe he entered into the situation on a tip from inside the jail in hopes of getting the reward money. But it does seem strange the way it played out over several months as it did imo.

You may be right (however Richard Cain ignored Kronk's first attempts in August- I don't think that was based on "Daisy Chain information"), but I really don't care about RK's background, or his motivation-it's obvious he didn't plant the body, the important point in all of this is that he got Caylee's little body recovered and there is closure for her. She will get justice upon the sentencing of her murderer! Roy Kronk is a true hero in my book for that!!!:clap::clap:

I've questioned as well...not so much him, but the story. It doesn't change the fact that he was finally successful in locating Caylee...which I believe was his mission all along.

I think that was his mission all along too. Roy Kronk had NOTHING to do with the murder nor did he move the body. Now, bounty hunting? and not being honest about that? That has been my only question. And, how would it affect the trial if found to be true.

Kronk would have had to have KNOWN Caylee even existed to have been involved. Ditto for knowing ANY of the Anthony family. Meter readers don't usually have any contact with the residents. It would have to be shown that Caylee was out front when he was reading the meters to make a link to him. Isn't there. He's a lousy target for the defense. And, IIRC, his ex-wive's statement about duct tape was NOT taken in a depo - just in an interview by a PI (and not admissable.) They have NO TRAIL whatsoever to KRonk and this mud-slinging about him will fail imo

ITA that facts can be twisted with good debating skills but in this case I
don't see that happening although I will hold my breath just a bit hoping the jury will appreciate the evidence and hold KC responsible for the death of Caylee.

I am not being snarky either. I want a roll, and if you can get it I will buy it. But post a picture first please so we are on the same page.

I remembered discussing the tape - duct, duck, gaffers, inside logo, outside logo, etc.

Here is one of the threads I remember http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79908&highlight=duct+tape&page=12

I brought this forward in case peeps are interested in reviewing what was discussed earlier regarding tape and as to why JWG would like to see the roll mentioned.

After how many days? One Hundred and Thirty?

How much more evidence would exist if the body had been recovered in August? If it were me and I thought there was a dead child/person there, I would have insisted one way or another that we get to the bottom of it. Blame LE then but the body was not recovered until December 11, 2008.
LP is saying that RK was tipped off but missed the location by 100 yards or so (meaning he didn't really see the bag/skull is August).
It's hard for me to fathom that anyone would see what they thought to be a human skull and just say 'oh well' when LE didn't cooperate and their feelings were hurt. Get some b*lls. That's how I feel and I'm not even a very brave person.
