Florida Bar confirms new complaint against Jose Baez

If the SA was going to file a complaint about Baez - would it also go to the Florida Bar? I mean, they have been investigating this false claim of LB's, and Baez taking it forward even though everything points to him knowing it was false - so for that reason does anyone think this maybe the SA, or another rightfully outraged private Florida citizen.

Just don't think Brad has it in him to do more than find an audience and whine.

I hope it would in fact be BC. Seeing as he was included in a "false" motion (authored by Baez ) that was heard in court with his name on it.

It does reflect BC's reputation. IMO.

In addition, BC might also be upset if JB asked CA or GA to become involved in any way with the whole Laura B debacle. At the end of his interview he had to hedge that although he had never been asked directly to ask the Anthonys to contact LB, he could not answer fully due to privilege. Leads me to believe he had knowledge of something perhaps JB asked them to do directly, or they may have done after being solicited, but it falls under confidentiality because he heard it through his clients.

Both MN and BC tried to represent those two as long as humanly possible, but I think when it comes to engaging in activities that could backfire on their own ethical reps and/or law license, they finally had to simply walk away.

It's funny that JB has basically done that with every attorney on his own team who's had to deal with him for over six months, not to mention several experts. JB always seems to be the common denominator in the mix of murkulosity surrounding this case.

Anthony defense attorney Jose Baez reiterated allegations at the hearing that NeJame is only representing Equusearch for media coverage.

NeJame then told Cheney Mason, another member of the Anthony defense team, that Baez is a liar and incompetent.

“I believe your partner is not only a liar but incompetent,” NeJame said to Mason. “I'm going to say this in light of what he said to me -- he made up complete and total fabrications.”

Baez said he would not respond to NeJame’s comments.

Exactly. What BC essentially said, when you read between the privilege lines, is while JB never asked BC to request that he A's contact LB, he was told by his clients the A's that JB had asked them to do this or something similar directly.

This is the key point. It is one thing to zealously and passionately pursue a strong [legal ethical] Defense for your client, however, JB is clearly willing to cross the line for ICA. He will employ any/every trick in the book ... and then some!

There are many folks who consider an action isn't illegal or unlawful or un-ethical unless you get caught.

I honestly think JB soaked up ICA's special koolaid the moment he first set eyes on her and became smitten. So smitten was he, he allowed his little head to do all of the thinking from that point onwards.
Not that his big head is a lot smarter or possessing of any great legal knowledge or skill, it isn't. It's probably more objective than the small one though.
I believe now that he has been caught, we'll see a different. colder, more aloof big head thinking JB in court tomorrow. It'll drive ICA nuts IMO and she'll be in a hair grooming frenzy for the entire hearing. :maddening:

I also predict a much more involved CM too. God help us lol!! :innocent:

After JB accused Nejame of being in it for the media, Nejame should have asked JB how many times he's been on TV since this case started. :loser:

He didn't have to say a word and stoop to JB's level IMO. MN came on specifically to assist the A's with the media because they were running amok getting in trouble. He made it clear he would not assist in the defense of their daughter and JB knew that. JB was just jealous that MN had a job that would legitimately put him in front of the camera and JB didn't.

For as long as MN represented the A's, he has said, he would not lift a finger to help their daughter. He's told the A's he thinks their daughter should find another attorney, not that he wanted to be her attorney. That Baez was incompetant to handle the magnitude of this case and didn't have ICA's best interest in mind. How many times did he defend CA's actions on the NG show? How many times had he stated the grandparents are grieving that they would come to the realization that Caylee is deceased in their own time. Time is what they needed...:crazy: I believe there is no amount of time that will allow CA to accept her grandchild died at her own daughters hands....even when a conviction is handed down, CA will make ICA out to be a martyr, not the alleged child killer a jury of her peers decided on...she must live on the moon...

This simple case of filicide became so big due to the trying this case in the media vs the courthouse, which Baez has stated numerous times he would not try this case on the courthouse steps but he has always got facetime with media interviews and did just the opposite.

CA will turn on you that fast. She is the one who is convoluted in her thinking. She is the one who made this out to be a conspiracy, listening to Baez, she does his dirty work.

I do hope this goes beyond the Florida Bar's staff for someone has to stop his egregious behaviors if he wants to continue on as an attorney for anyone. Myself wants to see him disbarred along the likes of TMac...seems you take on the attitude of who you choose to associate with. Guilty by association seems to be next up for CMason...I don't think he'll like being lumped in this by association defending the defenseless ICA...He might be next to fly the coop...JMHO

ETA: I love it! Towards the end of the 1st video, JB says he cannot depose Tim because he does not have all of the info he needs to properly depose him...that anyone "worth their salt" would want to know what they were asking before deposition. That is rich, considering that is exactly why JB ended up being sanctioned, for failing to provide the state with proper info to depose his experts.
He might consider reviewing past hearings next time before he slaps some A-1 on his foot and eats it!

ETAA: Was he really expecting JoeJ at the hearing, or is that his attempt at theatre?

according to the records shown she is with the Air Force and iirc Volunteers her time to search and rescue teams

I am wondering if she was on of those searchers who had a search Dog with her? anyone remember?
