or a mis-truth or half-truth (as CA would say). I've NEVER heard of pulling BOTH the DP and LWOP off the table - NEVER. That is two separate issues. Use one first (DP) and see what that gets you. If you don't get enough but are headed in the right direction then possibly go back and offer to pull LWOP for just a "weedle bit" more info.

I'm just not buying this deal or this leak. It doesn't make sense.

I remember the police making copies of those letters she sent to that Gien guy, or is ig gein..whatever...also they made copies of letters she sent to a few family members. My guess is, something in those letters gave the DA an out. The leak is by the DA to give the public a reason for the delay, but they are IMO pretty sure the deal will be voided.

I cannot imagine the police would allow the DA to make such a deal unless they knew in advance that there was a tight clause in that deal knowing EB would break that deal.

I think you could be close to being right...she is guilty but there is one or two other's that played a much bigger role. EB did mention AB but I'm thinking there is also another person that we are all aware of.

My only question is why so long to make the arrest? I'm sure they have most of the DNA back on the items collected, why no other arrest?

Waiting on forensics to get back to shore up the charges? Oh yeah, I just remembered that little tidbit of "We didn't really kill her" or what ever it was.....hmmmmmmmmmmm.

No fainting here, Teh...I've always been open to the possibility that AB might have been the one to kill Zahra and EB only assisted in clean up/cover up. There are some things I'm fairly confident and I can put 2 and 2 together on...but who actually caused Zahra's death I haven't even the faintest idea. Not even anything that gives me a clue, other than reports of EB abusing Zahra. And while that might seem like pretty damning evidence when a child's body is recovered, I also know that many cases of abuse don't end in death.

I just honestly don't have a clue which of these two did the actual deed. It's possible, in my mind anyway, that AB could have killed her, possible that EB could have killed her, and possible that they BOTH might have killed Zahra. The one thing I AM fairly certain of, though, is that they BOTH engaged in the clean-up and cover-up.

They had a fast track to get that done (priority was given) they have to have all that back by now. The only thing I can think of is the person they want arrested they don't have enough and waiting for them to make that one mistake. Perhaps the release of the DA deal will make the other perps sweat now and make a mistake.
