2011.01.05 Hearing TES Volunteer Computer Subpoena

JA: i dont know what these mysterious papers are perhaps we could get a clue instead of a 4:45 filing

HHJP: i thought yall would be able to work this out but i dont mind scheduling...

HHJP--I have no problem setting schedules. My schedule is a lot different than what your schedule would come out to be...I can do some probate and such in an hour and come back and it might be something you might not like....(paraphrased)

Love Judge Perry - he is going to take control of the scheduling! lol :)

OT - sorry - what's going on with HHJP left eye - I'm worried about him. Need to keep him healthy throughout the trial!

HHJP will write order today. JA says Cadaver dog can be heard in early Feb.

JB says their rushing the experts to provide reports, they're working on it. More whining, plans to file more pleadings.

JA wants a clue about these filings. JB wants 20 days, 30 days already denied. HHJP says my schedule is a whole lot different than yours, I can make the schedule and you won't like it. There are 7 days in the week.

JA says he is willing to work with the defense

HHJP - 3PM I'm formulating the order and putting the timelines together.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Cheney Mason for filing that motion for recusal. That has been the best thing they could have EVER done for Caylee.

They have bitten their nose off to spite their face in more ways than one.

eta: And I mean that as absolutely no disrespect towards Judge Strickland. But Judge Perry is sorely needed here.

Why is the state suggesting scattered schuedules for expert report turn in ? The Judge gave a time limit, I don't understand why the state would offer a "choice". TIA.

I think the state said "staggered" instead of "scattered", sorry about that.

anyone notice how unhappy jb was??? Wasn't happy one bit!!! HHJP not happy either!!!! I wouldn't push the issue with jb.....HHJP means what he puts forth and this is really getting to him...please is 20 days more different than 30??? I tend to agree with the Judge on this one!:great:

I have to say I'm surprised .
I thought MAYBE JB and CM would TRY and be a LITTLE more collected for court.

I don't think it is possible for me to admire this judge any more than I do right now....he is freaking awesome!!!!

I think JA mentioned they did not want to have a bunch of reports dumped on them all at once. Makes it easier to prepare if they are spaced out a little.

Also, the defense has a well-documented tendency to wait until (and beyond) the Very Last Minute to turn in their homework. JA's request will force them to step outside that comfort zone; bit of a power play KWIM? :cow:

state would like some of them earlier esp. dog expert as that trial will be early february.

also..

loved when Judge Perry said in reference to HIM making the schedule... "you konw how many days there are in a week don't you?" (ie seven)

I cannot wait until this one is posted! I need to watch it again..

I think there are hearings set up for some of the evidence, one being the Canine evidence, and JA is waiting for JB's experts report. He doesn't want to receive it Friday at 5:01 a couple of days before the hearing. He'd like the date moved up to sooner so the SA experts have time to look at it and build the SA rebuttal to JB's motion to exclude.

It's all about latest-minute filing Baez.

They didn't want all the reports dumped on them in 20 days because they have depos coming up they need to finish. They wanted some earlier than others, in say 10 days, also due to frye hearings coming up I gather.

I thought the way CM was lounging in his chair showed total disrespect the court. Did anyone else see that?

I think he may just have a bit of a lazy eye is all. Kind of cute & sexy, IMO. :luv:
