Remember when we learned from Clint about the dynamics of their past relationship? Billie was clearly the boss, and he said she was cunning and shifty. So I think she has him under her thumb again, sadly.

And he never thought it was Shawn because he traveled around following tips of Hailey sightings. I am sure Billie convinced him from the start it wasn't Shawn.

But does that mean that Clint thinks Hailey came over at 3: 16 on Monday?

Because that is what Shawn said.

On one of the other boards, one which we did quote from when Clint was interviewed, the interviewer said that the reason Clint wanted his story taken down from the site was that B was really mad at him. And he said he 'needed' to stay on her good side if he wants to ever find out where H is.

So I think that is why they are showing this 'united front.' But it must kill him to hear that Shawn is still her boyfriend.

I'm not a big fan of "keeping your enemies closer". Playing with the devil is never a good choice. The devil help put Ron behind bars. Careful, careful.....

She could have told her the night before not to leave the house that day.

Then her statement would still be a true statement. If Hailey was used to being home by herself it could have been a standing rule.

Another poster pointed out that she left and told SA she was going to spend the night at MB's and Billie should have been upset then because she was told not to leave. I have agree with that poster but even then SA could have counted as someone being home when she left.

That is a load of manure! It's Christmas break HD has a new baby sister and she allegedly hadn't spent but one night with BD in weeks.HD came and went as she pleased.BD said no such thing IMO

Haylie could have gotten into a disagreement with BD and SA the night before. Maybe she mentioned wanting to spend the rest of the break with her Dad or even move in with him and there was a big blow up. If DD could run around that day, why couldn't Haylie have spent the day with a friend or family member. Doesn't make sense unless she was trying to be forced to stay home. Then there was the trip to the ATM and the Grandma's with the original story of not knowing that Haylie had left. No mention of getting home to fix supper for a young girl who'd supposedly stayed home alone all day inside the home. BD should have at least called Haylie to tell her they'd be late getting home for supper.

Um, wait,wait...how the heck are we supposed to keep track of all these timelines if BD can't even keep hers constant. So now, another slam at HD, this time for disobeying. Now BD is saying that she told HD not to leave the house Monday. Then, she says HD could have been walking to a store. (Here's that walking to a store coming up again.) Now, problem with this is BD is acting like HD disobeyed and left the house when? Is she implying that HD snuck out? What happened to the sleepover excuse? That didn't work too well, so how about we try this HD was a bad girl, disobeyed mommy and just took off without permission. So, painting HD as disobedient falls in more with the runaway/abducted spin. I don't buy it.

It was held at the Snyder American Legion, and according to Billie Dunn, focused primarily on the group Hailey’s Angels.

“It was all about them and not much to do about Hailey,” she added. “They showed pictures of themselves at Dunn, in creek beds and out in fields. There was not much about Hailey. They even showed off one of their group’s BMW. “There were kids in there crying (at the American Legion) and there was drinking going on,” she said.

If the Hailey's Angels want to have dinner for themselves on Saturday night at the bar with crying kids there, why is it her problem? If it was just for themselves and not arranged for the benefit of the family I don't think there is any reason they should make it all about Hailey. They're entitled to have some time off from thinking only about Hailey, they're just volunteers and not her ICU nurses.

I understand perfectly if BD doesn't want to spend her Saturday nights at the bar but if she wasn't even invited she could have just not gone there.

It is very significant to me, how this reflects Billie's personality and mode of operation.

Most parents of missing children have more than enough drama and stress and pain and strife in their lives. They try to avoid more, and in fact, try to reduce it, because they are suffering so greatly.

But Billie? She takes steps to create more, not just for herself, but for the many others involved - and not involved - in this event.

It really gives drama queen a whole new meaning, takes it to a whole new level.

I can now look back on her actions in this light, with the sure knowledge that she is a person that takes deliberate steps to manipulate even large numbers of people, and create strife.

We are all Billie's puppets, to her. Good thing to keep in mind.

And I for one refuse to play that game and be used that way.

She complained about the group holding the dinner in "a bar" on Saturday night and people were drinking. Yet, she sees nothing wrong with stocking her house with cases of beer on New Year's Eve just days after her daughter "disappeared". Totally bizarre. Not to mention American Legion halls may have bars in them, but they are much more than that, and have multiple functions, including being settings for meetings, dinners, weddings, birthday parties, dances, etc. Give me a break, BJD. (What about drugs, BD?)

Her many versions of how Hailey disappeared are getting monotonous. Has she never heard the story of the boy who cried "Wolf!"?

I can see how people would become disgusted and walked away from the whole case. She should watch it. People may not want to put themselves out to search for a child whose mother won't lift a finger to do anything to help find her daughter except to toss multiple, conflicting versions of the story our way. :shakehead:

I glad she can find the time to call LE regarding Hailey's case every now and then. That's dedication.
