CA & GA's attorney:
They were subpoenaed by the State & defense. They are wanting to be present in proceedings despite the sequestration, based on the fact that they are grandparents of the victim.

LDB:
GA & CA- if they are going to testify for the defense first, they can sit in for the rest of the hearing. Concerns that if they sit in they will hear testimony, and then be called back in to testify.

HHJP:They are denied request to be released from sequestration for this hearing. They will testify first. (For this hearing alone. I will take this up hearing by hearing if they are called again, and I will take this up again before trial for the trial.

Both sides are required to inform witnesses they are not to discuss this case with anyone but attorneys. Sequestration invoked by judge for this hearing.

LDB: JB informed me by phone call Sat night that he had an additional videotape relevant to these issues, which I have not yet seen :waitasec:

LDB objecting because she only received the motion yesterday.

JB has agreed that these witnesses could be called first for the hearing and then be released.

LDB claiming that their recollections are markedly different than LE and sequestration is to avoid influencing witnesses. (JB already smirking at her comments).
