ICA's smirking is driving me wild..as if she's got something to smirk about...she actually believes she will walk....I don't think so. I believe there was too much chaos and confusion July 15, 2008..it went from CA wanted her daughter arrested for GTA/CC fraud...domestice dispute...this actually makes my blood boil...

I can almost picture this scene. Total chaos, Cindy barking orders to the officers, GA barking orders to the flunkies, young officer flustered, does what CC orders him to do, Sgt. juggling all of this, turns from Casey's cell phone he is using ,says, "Get those off of her." Goes back to using the cell phone.
Gee, is that why they call Cindy CC, cause they take out credit cards in her name and run her existing ones beyond any normal limit?

LDB entering audio call KC made after she was incarcerated! Yay.

Oh lord another issue.

  • #484
Can anyone hear what is going on? I could not hear LDB....

Eek- Baez has another issue and needs a sidebar?

I think it was so confusing that I can imagine that he wouldn't remember if she was cuffed or not. I mean, think about it, being at that house with those people. I know I would definitely remember Casey saying it was no big deal, though. That would stick out on my mind, especially later on after it was obvious that Caylee was dead. That would probably stick in my mind forever.

I don't like him not remembering it, but I don't blame him either. I guess I just view it differently. I'm not saying his testimony was the best, but I wouldn't just throw out it either knowing this family and the defendant, or if I was a juror, after seeing her family on the stand and watching her reactions before the sgt. got to the stand.
For me it's the juxtaposition of not recalling basic information, yet recounting a conversation with KC and no record of the conversation to verify his testimony. What if he's remembering wrong? I mean, he's obviously having a memory problem.

I'm sure it was hectic and he did the best he could and is good at his job, but I found his testimony sorely lacking and would toss it.

But your reasons for not doing so are certainly understandable.

Hosey wasn't the best witness,(ok he was terrible). However i'm confident the judge can see that all people do not do well on the stand (especially when the questioning is not clear (JB at times) but that does not equate to not being able to perform their jobs correctly. There was no arrest or unarrest....next....

IMO, I don't think Hosey did too badly. I can see him remembering the conversation with ICA, but not remembering some of the other stuff, as this did take place almost 3 years ago, and the guy has probably dealt with many calls since then.

Back when it was 'Court TV', I used to watch trials a lot, and what has gone on here yesterday and today doesn't strike me as out of the ordinary. Sometimes the attorneys phrase questions weirdly where the witness has difficulty understanding what they are being asked, or the witness is just not listening well and doesn't answer specifically what is asked, etc. etc. IMO, there are big and major differences between real-life court and what is shown on things like 'Law & Order' type shows.

IMO, after following this case from day 31, I don't believe from what has been testified to at this point that ICA was being intimidated whatsoever by the officers, or felt she was being held or arrested at that time. IMO, ICA taking LE to Universal, contradicting what everyone said they came across about working there right in front of LE, and then proceeding to lead officers to a building and down a hallway to her non-existant office, then the conversation with officers after that goes a long way to show her state of mind regarding being scared or forced.

does she get to lunch with anyone from her "team"????

I was wondering the same thing. I wonder if she is allowed to eat normal food or if JB is allowed to buy her lunch.

JB just asked for a sidebar to discuss another issue

Kudo to you for being brave enough to say it, gamom. ;)

JB is doing a better job than I expected. He seems to be channeling AL and LKB. I swear I seriously think he got a ton of pointers and advice on where to focus when he was in Chicago. Nothing that LDB can't handle with good witnesses.

Would you buy a used car from this man?

Would you let him represent ANY member of your family for ANY crime they may or may not have committed?

Another "Serious" private situation that requires a sidebar.
I want to know what they are?????

I bet that HHJP has already decided what to let in and what to keep out in regards to KC's statements on July 15, 16. He doesn't even have to decipher JB's "out there" questioning....who could? LOL

Indeed-He need look only to law, and he seems to do that well. Has each side met their burden and all that fun stuff. The babble in between is likely filtered out by HHJP. I hope, anyway.

She sure has perfected the effect of "looking busy" and "working," hasn't she...

Well she has had practice with all of years pretending to work at Universal studios.

Medina is beside KC. What happened to CM?

  • #498
OMG! I am soooo sick of all of these things that JB thinks are super-duper-top-secret and must be told only at sidebar! We don't care if KC wants a turkey sandwich! Let's get this show on the road!

KC: 'During the break I made my own stationary.'
'Here is what I wrote: Dear Jose, When you get me off lets run away together!'
