AZLawyer, is it normal for the defendant to tune out and do busy work at a time like this? Could it be it was suggested so she doesn't give dirty looks or head shakes?

I know I am not AZlawyer, but I think keeping Casey busy is the best they can do to control her. Unfortunately for the defense, Casey still can not control herself and her behavior. Even the way she writes, you can tell whether or not she is anxious, calm, or whatever.

Wait, what? Did LE really know for a fact at that point that she didn't work at Universal and had Security meet them there to trap her? I thought she had said she had the numbers of all these people at her office so they said "ok, we'll go".

she wasn't driving but she was controling. well see how that works.

they had the cheif of security meet them because they knew that. then they put her in the room. ive been wrong before, it may happen again so what. I'm too old to believe that a resonable person...who is caught lying...would not think she was in custody.

The cameraman is concentrating on ICA's demeanor. Clearly when the defense is addressing the court, she's more calm and writes less. When the state is addressing the court, and specifically talking about ICA, she's writing fast and furious, stabbing at the paper at times.

Psychologically I suspect the defense is letting KC write to divert her emotional response. Without a pen and paper, I bet she would respond with an emotional outburst in response to some of what's being stated about her. She's too much like George.
