The other weird thing is IF they was duped why hasnt Billie gone to the media stating she isnt a POI and that the broadcasters were wrong? For that matter why hasnt she gone to the media and asked the broadcasters to give her proof that shes a person of interest in the case? She has never been shy before of giving statements after all.

This local LE needs to step up and do what was done in Florida on one of that states high profile cases (either Haleigh or Caylee case): firmly and strongly let it be known that ANY legitimate info would come directly from LE first, not the blogosphere world.

This article is about the volunteers/searchers today. the article says soldiers from Goodfellow AFB helped in the search and that also this is the 2nd highest number of volunteers they have had since the first searches in January.

A big THANK YOU for the volunteers that give up their Saturdays to search for Hailey!!

This is probably OT but everything takes time...

a "former police officer of the year" :sick: was arrested on 3/10/11 on 27 counts concerning child . the initial search warrant was issued 1/19/11.

So hopefully LE will soon be making arrest(s) concerning the child found of the computer and memory stick. I think due to the number of images and trying to pinpoint the responsible party(ies) for the downloads takes time. I'm sure they want to make sure they have an air-tight case.

It would be nice if they would call a special grand jury soon.......

I want to hear something from the MSM or LE as well. The show seemed legit, but it's still odd that LE would announce that to an online radio blog show and not the MSM, KWIM? ...snip...

(I did not (intentionally) snip out anything that contradicts what I kept. From this point on I stopped snipping and used BOLD instead since the quotes were contextual.)

So what are we to make of the hosts stating a "supposed" quote from LE? Rachael when first making the statement said that she wanted to make sure that she was correctly stating what LE said..and even paused for a moment as if to reread the statement before she continued.. They directly quoted LE..saying that LE stated "that as of today the only 2 POIs in the case were Billie and Shawn".. she also stated that LE stated "that Billie was told to have no communications with Shawn Adkins until Hailey was found or until he was completely cleared."..Another statement from LE was "Billie chose Shawn Adkins over her daughter Hailey"..

IMO if those were made up by these hosts{as PK is basically saying with his saying "BTH is wrong Billie Dunn is not a POI"}would that not be illegal and a prosecutable offense.. They are publicly quoted LE ..Rachael even said that she wanted to make sure that she quoted it verbatim..

Rachael is a 20yr LE retired I say no way in hell would she get on live public airwaves and make direct quotes from LE without her knowing for certain those were direct quotes from LE..

Maybe LE didn't expect it to be "announced" at all. Maybe LE simply told them not to have them on for that reason, and expected them to just say sorry SA has a cold and can't be on, and fill in with some other story entirely. But what doesn't make sense to me about that scenario is why LE wouldn't WANT them to talk....it seems to me the more they say in interviews, the farther the feet go into the mouths, which I would think could only HELP LE. But it is hard for me to think that these ladies would come out and say LE had told them such a thing if they indeed had not. It's too huge...they have a radio show and reputation at stake....it's not conceivable to me that they simply made it up. I don't know....very confusing!!!

So I just hope that the hosts verified it was LE that gave them the info... and not someone playing games.

One would think so. 'LE ' is such a general term. It could mean a local sheriff, someone with the FBI or the Texas Rangers or from the Forensics Dept or from the DA or CPS or even a traffic cop.

BBM. Until now I thought I was the only one who was suspicious of PH. I have noticed he sometimes plays a little fast and loose with the truth (like a supermarket tabloid... barely staying on the right side of a libel suit). When his interview with CD was published without a single quote in it, I wondered why. It was full of inflammatory statements. A few days later it was gone. No trace of it having been there at all. IF he was involved in this "message from LE" I think it was directly related to the fact that he was to appear on the program and wanted to "set the stage" by turning the hosts against Billie, and vindicating him for claiming all along that BD and SA were the only POI. The timing is just too convenient. Why was no specific LE agency mentioned as the source of the memo? Would LE say "Billie chose Shawn Adkins over her daughter Hailey"? Why isn't it in MSM? Why can't PK confirm? I do not think the hosts were involved knowingly in making a false statement, if indeed it is false.

I think it was a brilliant plan by LE and the hosts did what was asked of them. ...snip...

They did? They were asked not to allow Billie or Shawn on the show, yet they put Billie on when she called in. I don't see how that is doing what was asked of them.

She said (I thought) that it was the conversation with LE 2 weeks ago that convinced her SA could be involved. I didn't hear her say she had not spoken to them since, so her saying she spoke to them "today" isn't inconsistent. Her statement that they did not give her information and she did not give them information when speaking "today" sounds to me like she was "checking in" to see if there was any new information and found there was not.

That's like telling Nancy Grace not to have someone on I don't know, but I think it could have been a reverse-psychology thing to me. LE telling her not to talk to Shawn (she does), and perhaps the media (she does). How does the media stop her from calling in (or did they call her back - don't know). But as far as I know, LE doesn't control the media, so I'm not sure they would have any legal say anywhoo.

If it keeps BJD talking I'm all for it!!!

When they realized it was her, they "should have" told her that LE had asked them not to have her on the show, and hung up. But then they wouldn't have had much to talk about, would they? They never gave details about what upset Bee. I would really like to know what LE said to her.

If you are told/asked by LE not to have Billie or Shawn on your show you DO NOT have them on period. It shouldn't matter if she is a "guest" or a "caller" you DO NOT give her air time. Billie said that Bea asked her to be on and perhaps she did after Shawn called in sick. But after LE says don't... you don't.... so why did they?

BD has been talking talking talking.... isn't that what LE wants a POI or suspect to do? she hasn't lawyered up YET, so let her keep talking? I don't know. It is a bit confusing, and I won't be surprised if BD has a lawyer soon. And then she may never talk.

I think Billie doesn't have a lawyer yet because Billie can't AFFORD a lawyer. Until she is charged, she is not entitled to the services of a Public Defender.

It is to her advantage (from a PR point of view) to claim that she is not represented because innocent people don't need lawyers.

talks about gathering evidence for the Grand Jury, but doesn't say when. I thought I read somewhere the GJ would be sitting the 28th or so of March? Anyone else remember that?

They convene on the 24th but it is doubtful this case will be presented to them at that time.

I could go with that theory too teh... except in that first minute, they said BD was their first 'guest' and they thought she was on the line before they said anything about LE asking them to not speak to her (and her and SA being the only suspects)

So I don't think she called in because of what was said.

yes, I agree with that Lisa. But then why not keep her talking? why would LE want her to stop talking? I just don't understand that.
