She now faces three charges: hindering an apprehension, filing a false report to a peace officer and possession of a controlled substance.

I do appologize for the confusion of the 2nd post of the same question, I am at work and I'm not quite sure how it was posted twice, I think it was the back button that may have done that, I hit back and then forward again... please feel free to remove the 2nd posting of that same question.

But my question was based on legitimate wording in MSM I take filing as in she herself filed a report not gave inaccurate information.

Again sorry for any confusion due to the double post.

Thank You for the new link Greeneyed. That is different wording than we have seen in other MSM which is where the confusion lies. I have no idea why that article says filed a report. Because if you read it in total they are talking about her lying to LE about Shawn being in the house.

I guess time would tell if it is bad reporting or if there is a report in writing about Shawn not being at her house before they did the search.

It's bad enough that we have to be confused by what Billie says.
We have to be confused with what the reporter's say.

You know, I am still very confused about the day BD got arrested. Before all that happened, they were saying on FB that SA had been stopped at around 12:15 that day. No one knew what for.

Now later on in the afternoon, BD is arrested at 6:21 p.m. at her home and SA was there. LE was there to serve a search warrant on SA and BD lies and tells them he isn't there, but they find him.

In the meantime, LE was at GMA's house searching and that it started at 1:30.

So what I am getting at is they had to have served that search warrant before 1:30 right?

This timeline just doesn't make sense to me.

EDIT: Could it be that they did serve the search warrant for the GMA's house when they stopped him earlier that day and then went to look for him to serve the body warrant later? I suppose that is what happened.

Is there already a ban on these drugs in the County she lives in?

It's not a prescription drug, banned or not, it's not what she was arrested for.. she had a prescription drug without a valid prescription.

Maybe I inadvertently got into Billie's stash- but I swear I read in an article that the le smelled drugs when they entered the house.
The only drugs they would have smelled would have been drugs that are smoked. Narrowing the field down to pot, meth, and crack.
Looking at Billie, I'd lean towards meth, not only does she have the "look", but it also is a drug that gets out of your body fast (three days) which would allow her to have passed a drug test easily when she was working.
Pot appears to be Clint's drug of choice, but it stays in the body for up to a month..of course, she may have taken back up the habit to "calm her nerves"
Pot also may be why she claims it was "non-narcotic", as many potheads state that pot isn't a drug, and is all natural.
Any thoughts?

Where did you read they smelled drugs?

Benzo's (Xanax, Klonopin, Valium, Ativan) are "non narcotic" and we know she once had a prescription for Ativan. My guess is the script ran out but Billie wanted more.

Wasn't it stated that the drug(s) were not on the list of pharmacy drugs that are controlled? Didn't I read that? If so, that is why I am wondering if she was caught with bath salts or what is labeled as incense' but the kids are smoking it like herb. Some states have listed these as 'dangerous' and banned the sale of them.

Those would be controlled. Illegal drugs are controlled drugs. I put the link to Tx. controlled substance act back a page or so if you wanna read it. But ita the bath salts are dangerous!

She already spoke to the media today. And when her answer went over like a lead balloon, all of a sudden she's "hired" a lawyer? She couldn't even pay her own bail. Did she just hire one in the last couple of hours?

Is there really a lawyer in the area who's willing to take her on pro bono? That can't be a good career move. :waitasec:

Mitchell County Sheriff Patrick Toombs says his investigators have learned Billie Dunn and Shawn Adkins met up in Snyder on Saturday evening.

On Friday, Dunn revealed she filed a protective order that would keep Adkins off her property. Toombs confirmed the filing took place but says this hasn't kept the pair from meeting elsewhere.

Okay - "IF" she hired an attorney, why is she calling the media? Wouldn't the attorney tell her to keep quiet and it will come out sooner or later? Why the need to rush off and tell the media? I don't get it.

Is she crying wolf yet once again, just like the PO that turned into a TO? Just like saying she wouldn't see SA again, but did so on Saturday night?
