Actually, you can buy Soma off the internet for less than 50 cents a pill, and you can buy them off the street for around $1 per pill.

BUT according to her lawyer, she had a prescription for the muscle relaxants. Getting them on-line does not require a prescription right? If her Dr. prescribed these to her, it will be interesting to find out how long ago they were prescribed. 1 year, 2 years, 5 years ago?
Good enough, it fits :floorlaugh:

Frankly, I've heard enough from Billie for the time being. I'm thankful that Young did not have her by his side during his interview today. Good luck keeping a lid on her in the long run, but for now, I'm relieved.

Sometimes, labels are everything:

Still, Dunn was not at a loss for words when it came to her three charges, especially the drug possession charge.
"It was completely a lie. They [officers] found a prescription bottle with my name torn off of it."
After fielding more questions, Dunn finally said, "I'm going inside," and slammed her front door behind her.

SNIPPED

Young said police are doing an excellent job but he hopes the bottom line for everyone involved is finding the missing girl.

"Instead of trying to make this a 'whodunit' lets make this and keep this a where's Hailey," he said. "We believe that the extraordinary efforts of the volunteers are going to pay off and that we're going to find our baby. We're going to find Hailey."

Excuse me, Mr Young has never met Hailey, he doesn't know Hailey and Hailey's not his baby! This statement really rubs me the wrong way.

A call made by someone who wasn't there when the cops responded IIRC. That sort of damages the credibility somewhat.

Not necessarily. Maybe they felt intimidated by SA and BD and decided to leave. Or maybe they went to warn the person Sa and BD were looking for.
And if someone calls 911 and then leaves their house, you can be sure that the cops will follow up with you. It is illegal to call 911 for help and just leave like that. They had to have a valid reason imo.

but didn't he say previously that the cops were NOT doing right by Billie and were unfairly giving her a hard time about hanging around with her love interest?

"Instead of trying to make this a 'whodunit' lets make this and keep this a where's Hailey," he said. "We believe that the extraordinary efforts of the volunteers are going to pay off and that we're going to find our baby. We're going to find Hailey."

Why shouldn't we make this a 'whodunit?' Don't we need to KNOW who has done this?

And these volunteers are looking for remains, they are not looking in those fields and creeks for a runaway who is hiding in the woods. So this is disingenuous for them to say they 'KNOW' she alive and well, and then to say the volunteers are going to bring her home.

This guy is full of it , IMO

"My guess is that warrant was a ruse to be able to get one of the two in custody so that they could chat with them," Young said.

And he believes the timing of Dunn's arrest was convenient for law enforcement officials.

"A judge was not available to magistrate her until the next morning thus making her unavailable for a bond," Young said. "I think that was no mistake, I think that was no accident. I think there was the intent of law enforcement to be able to have unrestricted access to this young woman after criminal charges had been filed."

Whaaattt? How did LE know that Billie was going to lie to them about Shawn being there? Wouldn't they have had to be able to foresee it in order to think of a ruse like that? I mean, there wouldn't have been any reason to arrest her if she had said, Oh OK, just holler, he's in the kitchen, would there? Does it mean they knew she'd lie because she'd always lied before?

Maybe they knew she'd have illegal drugs because she'd always had them before? But in that case why wasn't she arrested sooner?

And why would they need to arrest her to get the opportunity to chat with her? Has the missing child's mother refused to talk to LE? I thought she said she got updates at time to time so they must have been chatting some without desperate stratagems.

IMO it's possible that she's had a prescription for a bottle of muscle relaxants at some time, because people who want these drugs for recreational use do like to get themselves some prescriptions if they can, but then they also buy them off the street and there is nothing to say that this particular bottle with her name torn off actually is the same one she bought with the prescription she had.

In the same article he complains of their unfairness in arresting Billie and says they're on the wrong track trying to find out whodunit. So, how exactly are they doing an excellent job?

I think deep down he thinks the police are doing just what they need to do to solve the case but in his capacity as the suspect's girlfriend's attorney it is of course his job to spin it so that the answers don't lie anywhere his client doesn't want them to.

JMO but if LE knows whodunit they have a better shot at finding out where'shailey. Otherwise everything is just shots in the dark, one after another.

I'm thinking this little bit of praise is an attempt to placate the volunteers, some of whom were giving quite critical comments in some news articles recently.

Billie's comments after the appreciation dinner surely weren't "I'm so glad y'all are searching in all these ugly places, I'm sure your extraordinary efforts are going to bring our baby home."

Of course they have a better chance of finding her if they figure out 'whodunit.' There are thousands of acres to be searched and hundreds of lakes and ponds and creeks. There is no way they can search enough area without narrowing it down.

And I agree, those comments were just made to placate the volunteers. But I have a feeling that Hailey's Angel's are going to see through that spin and stay just as honest and talkative as they have been all along. imo

Actually, you can get your walmart, walgreen, HEB, Target and CVS pharmacy records online in Texas.

And, since BD's "get it caught on video priscilla pill bottles" came from Walmart pharmacy...my bet is any other LEGIT prescriptions came from Walmart as well.

Come to think of it...is there even a pharmacy in CCity...IIRC everyone used the Walmart pharmacy in Snyder...locals?

Here is a link that tells how online Billie could veiw her records on line.I had no idea one could do this. I still dont think this would be what the lawyer could submit to court. Or would want to as the total of Billies prescription would then be admitted into court and she just needs to reveal records for the one prescription.

I haven't had enough coffee or something....

What do they want LE to do keep sending out 100 and 100 of searchers night and day until they have completely searched all of Texas and the neighboring states...!!

And NEVER talk to or ask Questions of anyone....

I truly believe they do not think Hailey ran off into the fields all by herself and fell down a rabbit hole.

They believe someone has done her harm so they need to look at the people close to her that are acting suspioous....BD and SA.

If anyone else was acting this way and lying up a Storm they would be looking at them also...

If Billie really believes that a stranger abducted Hailey off the street like the other thread says wouldn't she be desperate to know whodunit? Wouldn't anybody be? I mean, strange perverts who abduct teens off the street just like that are extremely dangerous to other children and the society in general should be very concerned and everyone wants to know whodunit so they can be arrested ASAP and other children won't be endangered.

After our beautiful Zahra Baker I think that anything can happen.

This lawyer seems perfect for Billie; he even speaks her "language."

A few questions from Mr Young's statement...

I wonder what relatives of SA's live in Snyder that he'd be socializing with on a Saturday night? We've read about many of them and they all seem to live in Dunn, Big Spring and New Mexico. Don't recall hearing of any who live in Snyder. Does he spend time with these relatives often? :waitasec:

What vehicle(s) are either of them using to get to Snyder to visit with relatives? They must be using two different vehicles since they weren't together but both just happened to be in Snyder in different locations that night. :waitasec:

Who's the vindictive person who is trying to stir up trouble for BD and SA by lying to LE about seeing them together that night? :waitasec:

What would a 33 year old woman who's been doing nothing but sitting on a couch for the past 3 months need muscle relaxers for? She apparently didn't need them 3 months ago or they would have been on her list of prescription medications she was taking when those "narcotics" prevented her from taking that first polygraph. :waitasec:

Since both BD and her sister-in-law worked at a hospital for years, who's the doctor who is supposedly prescribing all this medication to BD? Was he/she a colleague of one or both of them? Are they the next person to suffer some collateral damage from BD's lies and coverups? :waitasec:

MOO

This is just one way for Mr. Young to blow smoke over BD's legal problems right now. BD had the choice in chatting with LE or not...and she knows it. She had the choice of walking into the station to take a second poly (which she stated on BTH, that she would) as well in discussing the matter of HD, but she didn't.

You'll also notice that in Mr. Young's first talk to the press, he said there was no correlation between the three charges and HD's missing.....yet he has now come out and stated that he would be representing BD in regards to the "search" for HD. Two fold: he can now be on tee vee and the media circuit, and is saying he's there when the proverbial bomb drops on BD....for either the CP or HD's disappearance, imo.

I'm not standing up for BD, but I don't understand how they can have a SW for SA's body and then arrest her for drugs they found in her house? The SW wasn't for her house...????

I don't know the law but if the police had overstepped the boundaries of their rights somehow I'd expect the attorney to have been all over it already. He found other things wrong about the arrest so why not point out it was an illegal search if it was?
