Kampfer, who has been the official spokesman in the case, could not confirm whether the two had been arrested or whether they had been taken in for questioning.

Witnesses spotted vehicles from the Department of Public Safety and the Mitchell County S.O. at the home of Shawn Adkins grandmother in the Dunn community earlier this evening. Vehicles from the Mitchell County S.O. were also seen at the home of Billie Jean Dunn in Colorado City.

According to VineLink.com, a database of offenders in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice system, Billie Jean Dunn is currently in custody in the Mitchell County Jail.

A person on duty at the jail, however, would not confirm the report.

Oh, I don't dispute that she's been arrested. I just don't think handcuffing means much in terms of how serious the charges are.

Thursday, 7:40 p.m.
Authorities remain tight lipped and have not been able to confirm the charges behind Billie Dunn's arrest.
Calls to the Mitchell County Sheriff's Office have not been answered.

This is a red flag for me. Until we know what BJD has been arrested for, all we can do is specultate. It concerns me more that SA wasn't arrested.

Gonna hang back and see how this materializes.
