UPDATED 8:30 P.M. Billie Jean Dunn and Shawn Adkins have apparently been “picked up” by officials from the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Department, according to Pete Kampfer, Colorado City city manager .

Kampfer believes the interrogation is being initiated by the office of District Attorney Ann Reed



Ann Reed is the one prosecuting the child charges....soooo we may see a child charge....just sayin.... fwiw

The cases would be prosecuted by Howard County District Attorney Hardy Wilkerson and 32nd District Attorney Ann Reed of Sweetwater.

Ann Reed's investigators are also the ones that assisted in the preparation of the affidavits for search warrants regarding BD's house. So they are on the Hailey case too. But I'm guessing this is about the . I find it interesting that yesterday we were told that the case wasn't ready for Grand Jury.... I think we were duped.... so as not to set Shawn to be on the run.

There was an incident where my neighbor lied to the the deputies when they came to execute a warrant and the guy went out the side window while he was at the door distracting the officers. He fled and while one deputy started his pursuit the other handcuffed my neighbor to the front railing and took off in pursuit. Maybe SA fled the scene while BD distracted them at the front door. Then they went to his GMA's to get him.

My first thought was DNA...but my second thought is that they want to take pictures of his private parts to see if they match illegal pics they found on the computer.

There were pictures very early on and I believe we heard on NG that they took DNA in the first week of Shawn and Billie.
