thought AF made it very clear that she was only there for the penalty portion....it is very clear that she is needed in a much bigger capacity.

JB realized that he admitted in open court that he knew at the time of signing a stipulation order that he had no intention of adhering to it.....and then proceed to not adhere to it, thus todays outburst. Isnt this contempt? can you disbarred for that?

JB: in the 2008 paper those aren't protocols are they -
do you have protocols (glued on a wall) in a file cabinet, is there is a cutoff number

SA: objection - can we approach?
the question assumes Dr. says something he never has - decomp event possibly of human origin - question implys it i object

HHBP: overruled

"I don't think we have any danger here of being led down the primrose path." - HHJBP

Did JP just say something about primrose path?
:floorlaugh:

I just have to say the Baez actually asks some pretty intelligent questions, even if he's not supposed to for this hearing, for someone who is SO out of his league. I think he may have studied up for this line of questioning.

Why is AF ( Mitigation ) counseling Baez on Science??

I've been asking that all day long. My best guess is that since Mason isn't there, she's the only DP qualified person on the team. As for how that goes to Forensics - no clue

Respectfully snipped--Clearly she is CM's stand-in when he is off filing other Very Important Motions.

(And am I alone in hoping that CJBP allows this hearing to extend as far into the evening as needed? This is amazing stuff we are witness to! :great:)

ROFLMAO! - HHJBP "not going to be led down the primrose path." :floorlaugh:

I think the Judge is going to get really irritated before this trial even gets started with all these BS motions and all these hearings that are not kept on track. Again, Casey should just plead guilty and save everyone time and money IMO. She will be found guilty IMO anyway. I am gonna guess it will take the Jury 2hrs to decide. JMO :cow:

Vass - Found 7 of the 30. Prior said never expcted to find all 30 since they all appears at different times in the decompositional event and not in every event depending on aerobic anerobic.

Vass know reading them off and JB marking them off the poster

OK, can anyone confirm what I think might just have happened. JB staved off a contempt charge yesterday by agreeing not to bring up some matter, but still got sanctioned for it.?
Now this afternoon he tries to bring it in in another way, and Ashton calls him on it ??

My understanding of this incident is this.

At a previous motion hearing, a few weeks ago, the state had filed a motion to have Baez found in contempt for yet again not turning over discovery in a timely fashion, or something like that. In order to get out of having sanctions filed against him AGAIN, Dorothy Sims wrote something up on a piece of paper Baez signed (which, IMO, is the paper now being waved around) and Baez also had to make an apology for the record to Jeff Ashton.

AF talking to Baez reminds me of what I would do as a nurse if I saw another nurse trying to put a 'breathing tube' down the 'food tube'

How long does it take a jury to count their votes? My prediction is that it will take that long.

:twocents:

You think he was faking loosing it?

I think...YES! For me to believe otherwise would include Jose actually believing that JA had him by the short ones over this when we all heard JB state in court that he was not going to go here.
I think he was mad because he could not BS his way out, he went somewhere he should never have gone, proving his apology and speech was as worthless as we figured it was and when that wasn't working, he got even madder!
Loosing it? Hardly. Calculated and pushing it? Definitely.
I think Jose just took his own walk down the Universal hallway.
