Wow, this is a long sidebar...rot ruh...:maddening:

I could never do Medina's job because just looking at KC makes me want to slap the eyeballs right out of her head.

Wow - over an hour and a half of questioning so far this morning! And you, Jose, were able to blow yourself up in just one question!

Are you sure you aren't a mole working for the State? ROFL

I find it "telling" that Casey cannot sit still for ONE SECOND during these hearings, almost like she cannot be quiet with herself and her mind......it would be too much to bear, the reality of what is going on here, she cannot sit with it. does that make any sense?

  • #645
I get the feeling that while MM is sitting with Busy Casey, she is thinking, O M G.

  • #646
KC's probably telling M that these binders need some accesserizing. KC: "Don't you guys have some heart stickers that I can stick all over these pages???"

:cow:

Are the Anthonys there today?

  • #648
I have NEVER, including the one I testified in, seen a defendant in a murder case be allowed to write anything!

  • #649
Oh I get it. She is organizing the pages for her attorneys. Busy work.
it is like watching a train wreck...

I cannot wait until may is over with and the jury has reached it's decision. Watching Casey Anthony makes me sick to my stomach.

I think the officer thinks
JB is a little bit nuts . . .

I concur

.

There was a brief moment there... but the longer this sidebar drags on, the less giggly they are.

Wow. They have GOT to figure something else out for KC to do during trial. This is painful to watch. She is totally detached. Unreal.

BBM. Yes, I was just sitting here thinking that I can actually SEE her detach as she does these things, furiously writing and flipping and checking her hands while the hardest to hear testimonies are being laid out. Keywords like playhouse, sand, yard, trunk, pizza. It's when CAYLEE is said that she's stone cold, you can physically see her use these tools to detach. It's very interesting, sick as it is.

And the green plastic pencil case is really just so far beyond ridiculous.

salvarenga, your avatar CRACKS me up. I love that face!!!!

Just another little fantasy KC has created in her mind. She is again refusing to face reality. She sits there, not as a defendant, but as an Attorney or Paralegal. Amazing........
IMO

I constantly wonder if this is what they are going to have her doing at the actual trial. IMO, they should be using her presence at these hearings as practice runs for her to at least pretend to have an interest in what's going on around her. If what is going on now is really their plan for her at trial, IMO they would be better off to just give her a paperback to read.

OMG there really is a pencil box...like my granddaughter's. Good Lord. Maybe she and that attorney are playing x and o's and trying to not let the camera see them mark the boxes, lol.

Personally, I think they deliberately mess up a binder the night before so ICA can have a task of putting it in order and look busy!:floorlaugh:

Yes!

As far as what I have underlined, I missed that part. What did the officer say why "even though the dog alerted" there was no body found. Thank you in advance.

:cow:

Sorry, that was not meant to be taken as verbatim. The handler was explaining false positive results or false negative. And in the process of giving his answer to JB's question, drew a picture of what happened in the backyard.

The dog handler actually knows in advance what they are looking for...they knew that it smelt like a dead body in the trunk...because of what George said.

Jose is saying, "hey you guys knew there had been a dead body in the Pontiac" so you knew to have the dogs smell the trunk of the Pontiac." INsession says.

Side bar still. Casey flips still. Can she really not pay attention the whole trial. Will the judge allow that?

Hummmmmm..I have to wonder why JB keeps referring to false positives when he knows full well that these canine sniffers ultimately were proven CORRECT with forensic testings..ala truck of Pontiac Sunfire :floorlaugh:....Interesting concept to keep hammering the fact of accuracy in doing that :floorlaugh:

It's a trick, and it shows his inexperience at this level of a case. It is another form of a lie, not unlike his "lying by omission" concept, whereby if you repeat a phrase often enough it will subconsciously sink into the observer as a truth. It is how his client works (look at how many discussions still go on around here about Zanny) JB operates the same way. It is a good trick to use to sway a jury, not unlike Johnny Cochrains infamous "if the glove don't fit" mnemonic. BUT IT DOES NOT WORK WHEN YOUR ENTIRE AUDIENCE IS A SINGLE SKILLED OBSERVER. ie HHJP.

JB is continuing to argue motions hearings as if he is in front of the jury instead of in front of the judge.

ITA! Watching her at all of these hearings, I've always thought she seems to think she is part of the team working on behalf of some other client. This has nothing to do with her! Completely detached!!
