I would think that fecal and urine would be NOT used since dogs use that scent when conducting their own business..also passing their own waste, and sniffing out area's they wish to conduct their business :floorlaugh: Trying to be delicate..ALL dogs smell those two items with every walk :floorlaugh:

I lay out a training aid - I move the training aid, and I bring the dog in to see if the dog alerts. When a body was removed after a period of time, are you including this as residual odor? Has Gerus been taken to a place where a dead body had been removed. Yes, I did. He has been exposed to circumstances to a place where a source has been removed and he has alerted? Yes, I have.

Well I figured this type of thing has to have come up before. Dogs have been used in LE for a long time, right? This is such an accepted thing! All I can think of is every single police show or movie(in the heat of the night)where the police are being led by dogs...

To argue what the defense is arguing is surreal to me.

Yeah but I love it on behalf of all the MD's I've ever known who live in fear that their altruism will be rewarded by meeting such a lawyer in court one day. FEAR NOT!! She's an expert malpractice litigator who misuses medical terminology and writes up her experts reports for them on yellow lined paper. :great: She was messing up Semester 1, day 1 medical terminology yesterday. The stuff evading her was so basic, I'm surprised the FBI witness didn't laugh out loud.
